What is Code Aurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.​
What is AOSP-CAF ?
AOSP-CAF is meant to join AOSP and CAF projects into a widely usable repository,
stored on https://github.com/AOSP-CAF/. It also benefits from a few LineageOS updates.
Finally, AOSP-CAF Nougat also includes OMS theming implementations.​

Flashing and updating
AOSP-CAF clean install :
- (Optional) Flash the boot.img kernel from the ROM zip with Fastboot or Flashtool
- (Optional) Wipe the data & cache (Backup to make sure not to loose data)
- Flash the AOSP-CAF ROM zip from the Recovery
- (Optional) Flash the GApps to have the Google Applications
- (Optional) Flash the SuperSU zip (recommended, see Q&A informations)
- (Optional) Every additional zip you want to flash
- Reboot
AOSP-CAF update / upgrade :
- (Information) Don't wipe anything unless you want to
- Flash the latest AOSP-CAF ROM zip from the Recovery
- (Optional) Flash the GApps on first install / upgrade. Not required later, but do update sometimes
- (Optional) Flash the SuperSU zip (recommended, see Q&A informations)
- (Optional) Every additional zip you want to flash
- Reboot​

Mto rápido, duração boa de bateria. Único bug que notei até o momento é que. Quando uso o modo de pin padrão, mesmo tirando a opção de mostrar senha, ele ainda mostra o risco feito pela sequência escolhida. O restante está mto bom. Parabéns.

Help! I installed this on a ZL (6506) and all seemed fine, then realized I had neglected to install SuperSU. I tried booting into recovery and could not -- it gives an error for a fraction of a second, something about an error on F2FS so it appears to be a file system format issue, as though TWRP doesn't support it? I cleared all partitions except micro SD when I installed it (Because I was having an issue that could have been malware).
So I can't get root because I can't get into recovery? And without recovery I can't install SuperSU? And I can't get another ROM without recovery (at least without going back to flash mode which I barely remember how).
ANy ideas how to get back into recovery, or is it hosed?

10 days. Still fast!
Just two bugs on camera:
1. Physical button is not responding
2. Screen freeze (on last photo) after taking one, can take more photos (using on screen button) but only can see the last photo taked.
Installed Open camera form playstore and it works fine.

OK, I got this back using FastBoot to flash TWRP again, though then it would only boot TWRP; reinstalled this rom with SuperSU this time, and all worked well, though later when I tried going back to Recovery it failed again with the F2FS error (and this time I was sure I had the current TWRP, at least I flashed the zip of the current one).
Is some system or other reformat needed to change to F2FS before using this?

The ROM IS fast (unlike RR ).
I also experience issues mentioned by the others above:
Camera button does not work
An error when you try to start recovery -- you have to flash boot again to get to it.

Working great except for two things: It'd be nice to have recovery included in the ROM AND more importantly my microphone(s) don't seem to be working. I'll try reflashing.

OP, Would you be so kind and update the rom with the fixes for the reported issues? Thanks. :victory:

1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

after installing rom... install the kernel provided zip... read the quotations with kernels..

Hi, I like to know if there is one way to install the native app huawei notepad, I got the apk but when I copy it in root/system/app/ the application open and close, don't work, could you help me, I can installed another application for notes but I need to restore my backup first.

i think i did not say to use ARM pkg... everyone know he has arm64 device,,,

i did not know))
well, network arrows autohide on no traffic hides them even when traffic for me, uncheck autohide makes them work
awesome ROM so far
but with this as with your unofficial lineageos again adaway freezes on startup, cannot set it up
only works with your aokp rom, no idea why, maybe you have an idea?
adblock is a must and adaway the best so far, no battery drain
and which magisk must be flashed?
whenever i do through twrp it isnt installed after boot, superuser works, always take this now

If there aren't big issues like rebooting stuff and etc.. then you can keep working on Oreo but next month Huawei will release Oreo with treble for P10 Lite so...

Hello there, I have no sound with any of your roms, is there anything I can do?

Calling doesn't work for me. I can make the call from the phone app but it doesn't display anything about the dialling screen, and when recieving calls, nothing comes up

1. It is absolutely necessary to install TWRP to flash the ROM? or I can eRecovery and flash the image? In theory I should be fine with the latter, based on my experience with OpenKirin. And this brings me to my second question.
2. Do you intend to collaborate with OpenKirin?

why are gapps unstable can't i download from the official websites or do i have to use a beta version of gapps?
is this ready as a daily driver and is it fully clean android what about screen calibration? will it offer vivid modes etc and what about the desktop mode and hdmi?
has anyone noticed any other issues than hotspot wifi?
edit:it seems it is impossible to install custom roms if you updated to the latest EMUI, they won't let you unlock the bootloader so i will likely return this phone i am honestly angry

no, too concerned that I'm going to brick it.

I tried it and couldn't get it to boot on my friends Huawei 10 pro BLA-A09 C567 firmware .119. I ended up having to reflash his phone for him.

has anyone else on a US variant tried this? We're all afraid, aren't we??

getting error 7 it won't accept the file and now i am stuck with no os worrying the phone is bricked now as nothing works
lineage does not work because the zip is invalid (used twrp unofficial version)
this rom does not work because of error 7

fyi if you flash this make sure not to connect to the internet on setup, if you do it will start looking for an update and get stuck there you won't be able to skip it because it won't let you continue without a Connection, i assume you can get around this by skipping connecting to wifi but i am not sure.

This is for Mate 10 Lite. Please specify this in title and post.

As Ante0 said it, its for Mate 10 Lite. But modifying the assert/removing it, it will flash to Mate 10 Pro. I tried it and it boots but the stock emui camera is not working. Went back to omninrom. I suggest to do always backup of your system incl. Data, systemy vendor kernel using twrp...

did not work on the mate 10 pro it was a complete mess when i finally was able to boot it up it got stuck looking for an update on the setup screen i wish it was specified that this was not for the pro would have saved me like 5 hours of nonstop work

This is why I recommend backing up your system in twrp before flashing new Roms.
I did not flash the Rom with gapps together. So i did not have this Problem.

Not sure if you count this as try, but I did try to flash this through unofficial twrp on my mate 10, it ways that the rom is for hi6250 not for kirin970 and the flashing always fails.

does this rom have navigation mode smartbar/fling? just like ressurection remix rom? btw can you tell more ROM customization tools from this rom please.
resurrection tools has:
status bar, quick settings, recents, lockscreen, animations, misc, interface, navigation, buttons, about.

I have WAS-LX1 and this rom wont boot, I see only Lineage boot logo and after 15minutes device rebooting, over and over again

it doesn't help, it's the same

was same for me. but with Pretoriano80's twrp it works, but wipe data, cache, dalvik, system before install.
Sadly has some bugs (apps crashing randomly (eg speedtest.net), so can't use it, but looks so good

Sadly i get bootloops just like with BootleggersROM 4.2. Couldn't flash AOSP 9.0 at all.

I have flashed this rom -> rebooted into the system -> rebooted into recovery, flashed gapps -> rebooted into the system -> get constant pop-ups "google play services has stopped working'', i press ok and it pops back up again and again. Is there a way to fix it?

This is indeed the tricky part on this phone using gsi or gsi-based rom (haven't tried others). It always seems you got only one chance to get it work or you need too start fresh from beginning.
For sure you need a real fresh base booted at least once and with initial setup done and I always decrypt before flashing anything.
(flashed descendant gsi in this scenario)
I flash rom only (from terminal), boot directly into recovery and factory reset, let it boot up.
Back to recovery flash gapps and again factory reset. Boot to system and cross fingers (doesn't harm).
For me twrp_p10_lite_0.5_test made the difference.... and A LOT patience with the device itself.

A new pre-update is up !

E3004: This package is for device hi6250; this device is lld.
My device is Huawei P10 Lite, Model: WAS-LX1A, Platform: hi6250 so it should be compatible.
Any solution?

just installed this rom after repairing my display and replacing the battery. The rom is smooth and don't seem to have problems till now.
The only thing i noticed is the fingerprint doesn't work.. but i can't say if it's a my problem, i could've attached bad the flat cable.

A good news guys, offline charging has been fixed !

@DarkJoker360 I installed it today. It is great. Ringtones and other sound are missing, must download to work.
EDIT: Solved previous issue with format data to decrypt.

Hi, ive been stuck at installing open gapps.
I get eror 70 insufficent storage space on /system.
I used pico package.
I have WAS-LX1 32GB.
I saw someone had this problem in the aosp thread, and the solution is repartitioning system. Any help on how to do it the safe way?

I only have change file system, I have no resize file system, or repair file system. The buttons are missing. If i select data, its there...

Thanks, ill try. Its weird because system partition is already 4.8 GB and only 1800 MB is used. I doubt gapps takes up more than 3 gigs...
If I swype right, wil it ask for a partition size, or it will make up its mind?

The option isnt present on Pretoriano80s twrp_p10_lite_0.6_test.img either.
Is there another way to resize system?
I still dont get it how 4.8GB isnt enough tho, the system img is 1.7GB the rest is peanuts, shouldnt the whole thing be like 2.5GB max?
Ill try aosp 10, maybe ill have more luck I like how u can just enter into erecovery and download the official base via wifi. So easy this phone.

AOSP 10 works great, and I still have 2.7 gigs of free space out of 4.6. I sincerely doubt lineage takes up an extra 2.7 gigs, so I think somethings fishy here.
