Go to recovery and format data then reboot to download mode through it and flash first only BL file, exit from Odin, disconnect device and now power off device and reboot again to recovery and through the options to reboot menu go again to download mode and flash all the rest of files through Odin. Don´t choose other additional option through Odin, just flash normally.

If your brother installed CWM into your phone, than your phone is rooted, isn't it?
You can download your Stock Rom ( you can find on the phone box your version XWKD1 or XWKF2 )

Now you need Odin v4.28 : http://www.multiupload.com/B12P3BJBE6
Samsung Kies installed in your PC....( I hope that you have already installed the application on the PC)
■Now, after finishing the download you will have to now ensure that you are turning your phone off so that the download mode which is nothing but the safe mode is activated in your phone. After turning Off the phone, you will have to first push the “Q” button to enter in to the download mode which will look like as shown in the below screen shot. If you have successfully entered into the download mode then you will see a green screen which is shown below. Also, additionally note that if the device boots in the normal mode with the home screen then you will have to again switch off the device and retry the process and if despite retrying you are unable to get into download mode then you will have to fix the download mode error for your phone. You can see the download mode screen on how it looks like.
Poza1 ....http://www.4shared.com/photo/zA0HoG80/Poza1.html
■Now, after this you will have to connect the phone to the computer where you have downloaded and extracted the zip file from the above link. Please note that while connecting the USB cable you will have to make sure that the Odin software is open as mentioned and shown above, as soon as you connect the phone to the Odin, the ID COM block will turn yellow after which you will have to enter the files by clicking on the corresponding options as shown below,
Poza2.....[IMG]http://www.4shared.com/photo/k33bdHec/Poza2.html
BOOT – APBOOT_B7510...................md5,
Phone – MODEM_B7510....................md5,
PDA – CODE_B7510..........................md5,
CSC – ....B7510.......CSC...................md5,
■As soon as you feed in the files, you will have to double check the same and then you will have to proceed and click on the “Start” option to start the firmware update process. After clicking on the start, you will see that the firmware will be installed in your phone within a time of not more than 5 minutes.
Poza3......[IMG]http://www.4shared.com/photo/J-0BuaB2/Poza3.html
■Now, you can see that the flashing process is being in process and you will have to make sure that you don’t interrupt the flashing process as this may be fatal for your phone. So, after few minutes of time you will see the Odin screen as shown below,
Poza4......[IMG]http://www.4shared.com/photo/Iyc1MxXQ/Poza4.html
Now, that’s it as soon as you see that the above screen is shown in the Odin, you will have to wait for the home screen to see in the phone and there you go, you have now successfully instal.
Euro B7510 XWKF2 dont have
Phone – MODEM_B 7510.... ....... ....... ..md5

[SOLVED] "'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue." Softbrick issue

Hello XDA!
So, idiot that I am, I decided today would be a great time to root my Galaxy S III (SGH-T999N version). It was running Jellybean 4.3, so it had fewer root options than other, older Jellybean versions, but I still found a root file on here. I put it into USB debugging mode, downloaded the driver, Odin, and the root file. I also backed the phone up on Kies, and have that on my PC., I did everything right, and... it failed. I tried again without doing anything to the phone (read: kept it in download mode), but it failed again with a different root file. So, I turned it off, sad that I wasn't able to root it, and I came upon the dreaded 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again' screen.
After hours of searching, I saw two different solutions: downloading the 4.3 OS from online, and using Odin to flash that to the phone, or using Kies to reformat the phone. I've been trying Kies, but Kies 3 isn't recognizing the phone, and won't allow me to restore or to reformat the phone. I'm still waiting on the download of Jellybean 4.3 to finish so that I can try that (Odin HAS been recognizing the phone). While I wait, I wanted to know if other users have had similar problems that they've solved, or where I've gone wrong, and what I can fix.
As for additional details:
- I CAN put the phone into Download mode. I CANNOT do a factory reset through Vol. Up+Home+Power
- The status screen with 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again' also has this information at the top:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SGH-T999N
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: Yes (1 counts)
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
Warranty Bit: 0
BOOTLOADER AP SWAREV: 1
- The phone is carried by Metro-PCS
Thanks in advance!
Okay, turns out the downloaded Jellybean 4.3 OS did the trick. For future people who run into this issue:
1. Have Odin 3.07 or higher downloaded (Odds are that you have this due to your phone's current state).
2. Download a copy of the OS you want from here: samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SCH-I535 Go to the dropdown menu on the left-hand side, and select your phone. Don't know/remeber your phone's identifier? Open up the back, remove the battery, and there should be a white sticker with your phone's model at the top. WARNING! Unless you plan to pay, these downloads will take a while. Do this when you can have your computer on for 4+ hours.
3. Once the download is complete, unzip the file, and place it in a location that you can easily find with Odin.
4. Open Odin, and make sure that Auto Reboot and F. Reset time are the only options checked. If there are other options selected, uncheck them and proceed.
5. Click the "PDA" button, and select your copy of the Android OS from where it was stored. Assuming everything has gone correctly, a message should appear in the Odin status box along the lines of "Check MD5... Do not unplug the cable...". Wait for the message "Leave CS..." to appear before proceeding.
6. Once "Leave CS..." has appeared, put your phone into Download mode (Turn it off, then restart by holding down the Vol. Down, Home, and Power keys until you get a screen that has informed you that you are in download mode.). Then, plug your usb cable into your PC/Laptop, and then into the USB outlet on the phone.
7. Once Odin has noted that your phone is attached, you can press "Start", and assuming all steps have been followed correctly, the new OS should download, and your phone will reboot, fully functional. If you are lucky like me, it will even have kept all of your settings!

note 2 not connecting with odin

I have a note 2 its not rooted one day my phone just stops working i change the battery but now the software is stuck on the samsung logo or when in charger stuck on a battery icon, i managed to get it in download mode but odin now doesnt recognize it.

Try more version of Odin and another USB port
Try Odin v3.09 https://mega.co.nz/#!UdRRyCAT!H4FyVxYynNWvXqRNmnpMGQRCP-dG3uykgP2pT4rh8Ek
I always using Odin v3.07 for my note 2 but it doesn't make any change.
First of all, does the pc recognise your device?
When you plug in your device, dies the pc make a sound?
Does it say something like installing drivers csc, serial, and many other things?
If one of this anwsers is yes; try this:
I tink there's a problem with your drivers.
1. Instal Samsung kies 3 when your note is on android 4.3 or higher, else just Kies
2. Open kies (3)
3. Search in the dropdown menus somewhere above the screen for "(re)install drivers" (I think it was in one of the last menus)
4. Reinstall the drivers
5. Close Samsung Kies
6. Open Odin
7. Put your Galaxy Note 2 in download mode and then connect to the pc
8. Choose in the tab "PDA" what you want to flash with Odin
9. Wait a while, a bleu box will appear with COM and some numbers. When this appears your device is recognised and you can start flashing
If this doesn't work This will help too, BUT YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA.
1. Go to recovery mode by holding volume key up + home + power.
2. Choose factory reset. (It will wipe all your data)
3. After the factory reset, connect your phone to the pc and see if it works
4. If It still won't connect redo my first steps (those with Kies)
If it still doesn't work, I can't help you

If you can get a stable connection, flash the TAR file from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...uide-links-files-update-root-restore-t3366862
My post has the latest TAR and instructions for flashing using Odin, including a link to a video.
Something must've happened when you turned off Developer mode or somehow got your OEM Unlock unchecked. One of the reasons that an FRP Lock happens is when OEM Unlock isn't checked whilst having a Custom Binary / Custom Software installed.
Turn off your device, press and hold Vol Down + Home Key + Power Button to get into Download mode, Press Vol Up to continue towards download mode.
Download Samsung drivers from Samsung support website, search SM-G920P, and look for v1.5.45.0 for mobile phone
Download Samsung Odin v3.10.7 or which ever preferred version of your choosing.
Download the QB1 Marshmallow TAR or the Nougat Tar from koop1955's post in the general's section thread
Load Samsung Odin in administrator mode, select AP and load the TAR file that you chose, attach your device to the PC and let it load ( COM:## within Samsung Odin )
Start process, should be a 5~10 minute tar install process. Once this process is done the Odin installer will say PASS! in green and your device should automatically reboot if you have auto reboot checked within Odin's Options tab.
