i have an unlocked at&t nitro hd and i use it in an asian operator
every thing was good until i decide update it to the new official ics 4.0.4
now when i wana conect to my wifi network it didnot show any wifi access point
i did factory data reset but it didnot work
once again i did a factory reset without sim card
the phone setup wizard show my wifi and works great
i test every thing wifi was working great
then i put the simcart in the phone and turned it on
wifi was working in start up but when the phone conect to the operator and show the name of operator the wifi fail again
plz help me !!

If you may try downgrade the rom? since unlock, you can flash kdz file through usb cable.

i have not any problem with calling and messeging
only wifi and cellular data apn setup doesnt work
doesnt it brick my phone if i downgrade it ?
where i can find official nitro hd android 2.3.5 kdz file?
i prefer to use ics
Try the Unbrick method in this LINK . After that i would suggest downloading Hono stock rooted Att rom. When I have a problem unbiricking ,even though its not bricked fixes a lot of my issues.Best of luck!

Just to check the obvious -- are you on a stock Samsung unrooted ROM with no modifications to the system partition?

How do i downgrade from B511 to B132??? On b510 and b511 cannot get coroprate hidden ssid wifi to connect. And generally prefer b132
Download b132 and put it on sdcard (fat32 format) in dload folder an unpdate it from local update.

Just abandon hidden ssid. Its not really hidden as it shows up as every other wifi network if someone wants to crack it. It just makes joining it a bit more slow if you know the password and ssid. Just use wpa2 and a strong password.
Ever since upgrading my firmware to AT&T's latest my wifi won't autoconnect to saved networks. I have to go into settings and connect manually. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on how to fix it?
I'm running Viper 2.3 (it also happened on 2.1), if that matters.
How did you update the firmware exactly, latest (2.23) OTA?
Did it work before flashing Viper?
I have SM-T805(exynos 5420 chipset). It is currently on stock 5.02 firmware.It is not rooted and recovery is untouched. When I scan available wifi networks, only those on 2.4GHz are visible. My question is does this tablet supports connecting to 5GHz wifi networks, and if yes what can I do to trobleshoot this?

The issue was that my wifi router had regional settings of USA. I When I changed it to some european country, the 5GHz network became visible and available.

The problem is with the license of the wireless waves cscode. Install root explorer. Then go to root directory etc/wifi and edit two files from GB to US and you are good to go with ac or 5ghz ap.
Sharing cz its solve my issue, even samsung customer care wont say anything regarding same
