"Hide content while displaying" option is disable - Oppo Realme 3 Questions & Answers

Hi, i have Real me 3 mobile. I don't want to show my notification content on lock screen. I know there is an option "Hide content while display" in each app but the problem is that this option is Disable and not enabling.
This is really disturbing, i have tried many time. I have restart my phone but nothing happened. Kindly tell me why is that option is disable? And how to enable it?
Please reply soon. Thank you.

Afterwards, at the top of the Developer Options panel, toggle off the Developer Options so that you can't accidentally turn this on again.
If you ever need to get to the Developer Options: Settings > About device, then tap on the 'Build number' setting until a toast tells you Developer Options has been enabled.

A friend of my has a G3 and has used the option to set a password or patern to lock/unlock his pictures. I found the menu but i don't see anywhere how to disable this feature. Can someone explain to me how i can do this ?

[REQ] Face Unlock to show notification content

Would it be possible to develop a Magisk or Xposed module that hides the notification content on the lockscreen and only shows it when your face is detected? Like the iPhone ☓ does.
Unlocking the phone would still be performed by a safer method like pin, pattern or fingerprint.
Here is a video of this feature on the iPhone ☓:
Nice Idea dude !
Hope someone could work on this
Yes..it was ingenious of Apple to include this little feature with Face Unlock.
I wish this could be implemented in the OnePlus 5 and 5T as well..
I would prefer something like long press power button to show lock screen without FaceUnlock. With short press unlock the phone. Currently FaceUnlock is too quick and checking notification is really hard.

My idea is that the users face will never unlock the device, it will only show the notifications sensitive content when the users face is detected.
But there is a Xposed module that does something similar to what you are looking for, it Face Unlocks depending whether there are notifications or not.

It already available in settings/notifications
Touch the cogwheel and you get to select what shows on lockscreen(as you can see I'm on LB02 and at least here that option is available, can't remember N)

Can't swipe/eliminate notifications when in lock screen

I am in 4.7.6 stock and using xposed with gravitybox. I haven't found any option in settings or gravitybox which allows me to swipe to eliminate the notification in the lock screen.
OxygenOS does this by default. Simply swipe to the left or to the right and you see a bright grey background with a settings icon until the notification is wiped from the screen.
Doesn't this work for you?

If I do that it appears a settings icon, after a while the settings icon disappears again but the notification stays.
Anyhow, do you know any way to just swipe to eliminate the notification? (maybe in settings menu, gravitybox or any xposed mod) Many thanks :good:
That's not a normal behaviour. If you swipe enough, it should remove it. Did you try disabling GravityBox and checking whether it's working?
I can confirm this bug (or a feature I don't know).
No matter how far I swipe, it doesn't swipe away. Just the settings icon appears.
Really annoying.

Mine is not rooted, I don't have any gravitybox or other third party stuff.
Just out of the box with usual apps (fb, instagram etc.).
And I can't swipe away swipe away notifications in lock screen.

Looks like it has something to do with "Hide sensitive information" in the lockscreen settings. @polema please test without "Hide sensitive information".
Could do that myself.. but I don't have 5T with me today.
Here's how it looks in my case:

Yeah, you're absolutely right, I had the same problem that in the video and after I uncheck the "hide sensitive information" I was able to swap to delete the notification.
The thing is that I'd like to have the content of the notifications hidden and at the same time be able to swap to delete them.
I'm having the same issue on my OP 5T OxygenOS 9.0.3. When trying to dismiss notification from the locksckreen, settings icon appears and notification is not swiped out. It usually takes 3-4 tryes to do the job. Very annoying
p.s. 'Hide sensitive data' checkbox is turned off

Android Q hide lockscreen content

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to hide content from the lockscreen in android 10 like you were able in 9/pie? I have a weather app that i can't hide after upgrading but was hidden on 9. I've seen this with other apps as well such as FK Manager's battery status.
It's driving me nuts that i can't dismiss or hide this notification. i tried changing what can be displayed under privacy, but it didn't change anything.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
