Is it possible to flash SONY TV? - Philips, Sony, TCL Android TV

Hi,
non-developer here seeking for help.
I have a SONY KD55X9300D (XBR55X930D in US), bought from mainland China. It is an Android TV but without Google Play or Netflix. Is it possible to flash/root to install systems from other regions like US or HK (or any version with Google and Netflix)?
Thank you.

I don't think it can be flashed

Netflix直接下载可以安装支持原生4k 谷歌play用aptoidetv代替 ytb用亚马逊版本基本完美了

The original 3.68 firmware that came with the unlocked version was never made publicly available. The only non carrier firmware that you can find is the 4.6.1 version.
Even if you get your hands on the original version somehow, after upgrading to 4..6.1, there is no way to downgrade to the lower version.
Fire phone unlocked os 4.6.1
Here is the link to the latest update of Unlocked fire phone os 4.6.1 which I downloaded and installed successfully.

Nokia N1 identification and Flashing Taiwan Firmware Help please!

Hi guys,
So i would love to purchase a Nokia N1 but it seems that the Taiwanese version is ultra rare and I really need google play services.
Anyway I have been looking on the forums and its been a long time since I have flashed anything and I am a bit scared about all the horror stories of bricked N1's and the lack of very clear noob guides on how to convert to Tawienese firware and actual have it working without issue.
Can any one tell me if it is worth purchasing the chinese version and will I actually be able to get it play services working or is it too much of a hassle for a noob and still too unstable when flashed?
I also wondered if the packaging label for the taiwan model differs from the chinese model? Is the Taiwanese model manufactured in Shenzhen or in Taiwan?
I have a picture of the label of the one I was going to purchase but I think it may be chinese version....
Any info and help identifying it would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks
ship with Android 5.0 can flash Taiwanese version even if it is Chinese version.
I cannot recommend at buying Nokia N1. Device itself is fantastic but I cannot say the same about software. If you get the Chinese version with Android 5.1.1 (very likely) there is no way to downgrade it to previous 5.0 Android version that can be rooted. Without root there is no Google Play. There are some guides how to downgrade 5.1.1 version to 5.0 but you will only brick your device if trying any of those methods. There is almost zero community support for Nokia N1 and because of this I don't believe we are ever going to see a root for newer Android 5.1.1 version.
If you need Google Play (Android device without Google Play is a crap) please do yourself a favor and buy something else like Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0

Thanks for the info. I ended up finding a real nokia N1 on eBay from taiwan with Googleplay services installed, so all good. Don't need root so think I will just update normally through OTA. Should be OK I think. I agree chinese one looks like too much hassle.

Int'l firmware or AirPlay for Chinese Sony KD-55X9000H

Hello all,
I'm in China at the moment and recently bought a TV. I deliberately bought a TV from an internationally active brand that also sells the same model elsewhere in the world, hoping that would ensure that the feature set is the same. Unfortunately, it is not. I have had to find out that AirPlay is completely removed from the model sold in China.
I would love some help flashing this TV to an international firmware, or at least porting AirPlay and the relevant Google services to the Chinese firmware. The Chinese and International firmwares are available to download from Sony if anybody is interested/willing to look into it.
While I have been able to get ADB over Ethernet to work, sideloading over adb appears to be blocked. I also can't get Gapps installed, since that needs a recovery with an install option, which this TV does not have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should I update my TV? MT 9632 ( M7332)

Hello everyone
I have a TCL brand TV that has different hardware and software. It does not have many applications and not Google services So I want to flash with another firmware but because TCL firmware is not available I am afraid the TV will break. For example, the remote control does not work or another logo appears instead of TCL. I found this firmware that is compatible with my TV. Do you think I should flash my TV with another TV firmware or not?

Philips 70puf7355/t3 Update firmware/ Change country???

Hey guys. So I am expat living in China, and I recently bought this Philips TV. The problem is that the system on it is terrible, since the system itself is all in chinese and full of chinese spyware apps on it. Does anyone knows if there is an equivalent Philips OS I could install on this TV? Like a USA version of the OS for western market or something like that? If yes, then how do I get the firmware, which version and what steps to take??? Thank you all!
