Here is black volume control try 2. Back up your rom and flash the zip in CWM. Do not wipe anything but dalvik cache.
Keep in mind that I do not own Xperia S, so I can't check the mode myself. It should work, but if it doesn't, just use JJwrongJJ's ZU framework V4 for XS. You'll just have to live with white panel. And if you don't like it, complain to Oprah...

WIFI update posted.
As we know out device supports wifi dual frequency bands. However, this option is not enabled out of the box. Here is the fix. Just flash it in CWM without data/factory reset. From now on, you will have an option for wifi frequency bands in settings/wifi/advanced. Enjoy and don't forget that Thank You button.

Camera: Superior Auto doesn't work, photo image stabilization doesn't work, 2mp resolution doesn't work. The rest is working.

Credit to Niabok79 and myself, since our versions are slightly different in that in his when you touch Superior Auto and the camera f/c, you need to do re-initialization described below in steps 1-4 to have it work again. In this rom, when camera f/c, all you need to do is restart the camera by pressing camera button. But again, credit for most work goes to Niabok79 and we have shared our files.
Keep in mind that the original camera is separate and works 100%.
Instructions for initial start:
1. Put camera widgets on your home screen
2. Press the dianosaur button
3. Press the dinosaur button again in the bottom left
4. Choose Manual mode.
Don't touch SA, photo stabilization or 2mp -- otherwise you will get a f/c. If that happens, just exit and restart camera as usual (press camera button)

Install Instructions:
1. Back up your current rom. Keep in mind that after flashing, you will have to reinstall CWM, as this is stock kernel.
2. Have latest JB stock kernel, Root and CWM
3. Enter recovery, mount System, Cache, Data and Format each
4. Flash the rom
5. Fix permissions (optional, but wouldn't hurt)
6. Reboot and let the rom settle
7. Go to Settings/Display/QuickSettings, you will have a pop up asking which app to use. Select QuickSettings for black or SystemUI for white background. You want black since this is a black version
8. After connecting to WIFI and testing browser, go to WIFI/Advanced and select Keep WIFI While Screen Sleeps "Always"
9. Enjoy the rom
10. Hit Thank you if you like it.

If anyone else is not able to flash, here is update-binary and updater-script files revised.
Unzip the attachment, which contains 2 files. Unzip the rom, go to META-INF/com/google/android/ and overwrite the 2 files there with the attached ones. Then rezip the rom and flash again.

Here is a screenshot from ION.
Keep in mind that I have WIFI, Sip service and Mailsynch 24/7. Sip takes plenty of battery juice. If you don't use Sip, you should have even better results.
Also note that Android System is at the bottom draining only about 6%. That is because this rom doesn't have scripts that fight the system (meaning, the script brings the app into ram, then system shuts it down and on and on) all the time, which results in stress on CPU and battery waste...

This camera has video rec upto 1080. There is also burst mode, different focusing options and plenty of effects. Most importantly, it takes half a second for the cam to be ready (unlike stock). Unfortunately, screen shot is impossible when the camera is on. Also, unlike stock, this camera stays even if you flash honami camera on top.

As this build is for Cm 12.1 but Cm 13.0 users should not be disappointed as I tried flashing this in it which gave a dialer FC(Force Close) i.e u won't be able to recieve/make calls. I managed to make another zip for Cm 13.0 users including everything except Dialer.So that they can also get the cyanogen OS taste.
Aosp/Layers based ROM users
One of my mate Doyle Fermi, helped me by flashing this zip and letting me know the stats, about this package working or not in Aosp / Layers based ROMS. So I removed CM theme chooser & CM theme store..!! To manage fc's and problems. Now users on Layers /aosp roms can also flash this zip. Every thing works except Cm theme stores n themes as they are removed..!!

If you have installed/ flashed an extra audio driver except audio fx i.e Dolby/Viper 4Android/Extreme audio mod/etc.
First uninstall them to get audio fx working properly.
*Some general Doubts*
1.I'm on Cm 12.1/13.0 based rom and I wish to have old theme engine (theme's app) and other new things!

2.Why is my dialer not replaced in Cm 13.0 as given in ss?
-> Read Cm 13.0 users section above, you'll get the reason.
3.Theme's app in menu says no result and shows no new theme's to download in cm 13.0!
-> This is because Cyanogen is about to release Theme showcase for 6.0 and Cm 13 themes are yet to be integrated in theme showcase app.
4.So, if theme's app in menu says no result, how to select or apply installed theme in cm 13.0?
->Settings>Themes here you'll get it.
5.In Cm 13.0, audio fx on Headset mode doesn't shows any effect/changes!

Cyanogen recently presented a new package for users running Cyanogen Mod 12.1 ROMs containing Cyanogen Apps.
NOTEThis mod will work on any device running Cm 12.1/Cm13.0 (mod zip available).
To get this running successfully, update your ROM to latest build.

As this build is for Cm 12.1 but Cm 13.0 users should not be disappointed as I tried flashing this in it which gave a dialer FC(Force Close) i.e u won't be able to recieve/make calls. I managed to make another zip for Cm 13.0 users including everything except Dialer.So that they can also get the cyanogen OS taste.

Installation procedure
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Install zip > Select package
3. Reboot

How to Remove this mod?Access to Addon.d folder via any root explorer i.e "root/system/addon.d/"
From there delete the file named "01-cyngn.sh"
After deleting do a dirty/fresh install of your particular CyanogenMod ROM.

AudioFX doesn't seem to work on CM13. I mean it doesn't show any error but it can't detect when I plug in my earphones. Even if I manually enable it by going into headset settings, I can't observe any difference in sound.

For now..!! Whn u plug in head/ear phones use "Speakers" in audio fx n try out the presets..! I'll try to bring up a new build soon with that fixed.!!✌? Jst use Speaker settings for head sets for now ..!

I shared a different zip for aosp roms(3rd one) u need to flash that on ur device..! As aosp dsnt supprts theme engine so they gave fc's. U flshed d wrng zip. Read Aosp section for more info in 1st post.
And regarding those force close... Read How to remove this mod.. Den remove it nd flash d crrct zip( aosp one )

I am latest CM 12.1 nightlies, everything works flawlessly. I love the trucaller integrated dialer.

Thanks a lot for this ROM. Using it on a G800F and have no Problems except the already existing Bugs (Volume Panel and Fingerprint, but I can live without Fingerprint, using a PIN instead )
Okay, so I've found the following bugs -
S power planner crashes as soon as the phone boots.
Camera crashes when trying to record a video with the frontal camera (I'm impressed that you could make it work though, with drivers and stuff).
Setting crash sometimes (like when going into minute sound setting).
Phone info shows wrong info - like it says you have Android 8.0.0 and Galaxy A-series.
Can't edit the toggles in the pulldown menu. The rest seemed to be fine.

-Greetings the spower planner only stops when starting but it is functional from smart manager
-The recordings with the front camera will be repaired in a future update patch v1.5
-The android 8 is intentional because the rom has the purpose of looking a bit like the layer of the s9
-The model changes it so that the experience of the rom is much better than including the respective repairs so that there are no problems with command like *#0*# due to the change of model
-What you tell me about the notification bar I do not think I understand

4. Stuttering is occurring for some unknown reason atm. I am aware of the issue and I'm working with the dev of BlackDiamond to fix this. 3. Device Maintenance swapped for Files GO and SystemUI Tuner. To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
5. Make sure you set Google Dialer as your default phone app. Goto Settings/Apps. Click the three dots in the top right corner. Then click default apps. Then Calling App and select Phone.
6. After first boot, reboot your device once.
7. Substratum does still work, just remember to get Samsung Substratum themes. -----IF ROM Support Substratum include-----

Second attempt of installation ... although it is all smooth, I notice a considerable delay when opening the app, as if cpu was working at minimum frequency always.
Ah! The only feature from Pixel devices I ever wanted was the pill navigation. And that's not available in this ROM nor in any TouchWiz based ROM.

Edit: As it is a new project still has to mature until it becomes usable in day to day. After hours of use I returned to use the Pixel Experience, an AOSP. I say with certainty that it is a very promising project. Congratulations to those involved.
When someone calls me NOTHING shows up on the screen so I can't answer it or do anything else either... Any fix?
Ahh.. I remember the S4 days when it also had a google edition os with touchwiz base. unfortunately not many like it. hopefully this will be maintained because I like pixel experience but I dont want to sacrifice most features in a stock rom.
