To enter fastboot mode you don't need to reboot, simply press Volume + and plug it onto the PC while the device is POWER OFF , it should indicate the fastboot mode with a blue LED

[SOLVED] Can not unlock the phone (lockscreen) & can not enter into fastboot mode

Hello.
This could be more general question so I try to get an answer here. Device: H815 wit bootloader unlocked. USB debugging is enabled but PC is not authorized so I can not execute any ADB command.
My problem is simple, I have flashed the latest Genisys rom and after initial setup (included lockscreen pattern setup) I restarted the phone. No I am not able to unlock the phone with correct lockscreen pattern provided. When I "connect" three dots it says "Try again", when I connect four and more dots it stucks and I can not swipe another pattern.
I am also unable to enter into recovery/fastboot mode (with power+vol down buttons). The phone starts booting instead of boot into the fastboot mode.
Is there any way how to flash anything or delete files containing lockscreen pattern?
Thank you very much for any help.
Babi
EDIT: Solved with LGUP.
when you attempted to go into recovery by holding power + vol down, did you let go of the power button and hold again immediately (while keeping vol down hold) when LG logo showed up?
anyways, if you can get ADP to detect your device, you can use this command to remove lockscreens
rm /data/system/locksettings.db
rm /data/system/*.key
or if you able to get into TWRP, find that folder and delete those files manually.
sorry i'm at work and can't type long, but let us(community) know.
Yes I did. I tried it with volume down button released as well. So I am not able to enter into fastboot mode. This issues persists.
I know about these commands, but how can I execute these commands without authorized device (ADB litsts "unauthorized" device)?
No, I was also not able to enter into recovery mode.

Samsung Note 10+ N975F; kylo ren picture right after start, boot loop

Has done, if no longer needed can be deleted
solved
Download Mode:
1 Step: Device switched off
2 Step: Keep volume up and down pressed
3 Step: Connect the keys to a PC via USB-C while keeping them pressed
Hi Guys,
I bought a Note+ (N975f, DBT) used. Since it has a crack on the front and was therefore cheap, I wanted to root it.
because as a newbie I am not allowed to insert external links, here only hints:
Following the instructions of topjohnwu with Magisk
However, it did not work. It is always at this point, red marked:
"Unlocking Bootloader
Unlocking BL on modern Samsung devices have some caveats, so I figure this would be helpful.
Allow bootloader unlocking in Developer options → OEM unlocking
Reboot to download mode: reboot and press the download mode key combo for your device.
Long press volume up to unlock the bootloader. This will wipe your data and automatically reboot.
failed.
In download mode when pressing Vol + key the following appears in red
"Reboot Recovery Cause: BL: Recovery Mode Set by key"
I have tried several times and I got this version from
samfw firmware/SM-N975F/DBT/N975FXXU6DTJ4
is used.
I assumed that it is because of the firmware then I used this version
SM-N975F_10_20201103172903_jy9pngyoln_fac
from Frija is used.
For flashing I used Odin3-v3.14.4.
After the last try with the version from Frija (Odin didn't show an error) a screen with a photo of the mask of Kylo Ren appears after Samsung. After 1 minute it starts again.
it is this picture

In Odin it is detected, but flashing again is not possible it stops at "SetupConnection".
I can only turn off the phone when it is connected to the PC and hold down Bixy/Power + Vol up.
Can I still save it, if so how?
Thanks in advance

Is my bootloader properly unlocked?

Hello.
Following the Magisk installation guide here (and cross checking with other source), once I have unlocked the Bootloader via OEM unlocking in the developer options, I still need to restart the device in download mode and long hold the volume up key. Looking at some bootloader another Samsung bootloader unlocking guide, it seems that there should be a warning screen where I can press volume up to "Continue" (into download mode), long press volume up for "Device unlock mode" (i.e. unlock bootloader) or volume down to cancel and restart the phone.
However, in my case, there is no long press volume up options, and if I try to long press, it would just register the volume up press and directly send me to download mode.
Perhaps as a result, the OEM unlocking option is never "Greyed out" (it does say Bootloader is already unlocked though).
Is this normal on the Tab S4? Does the VaultKeeper service exist in the Tab S4?
(I am on Android 10, March 2021 security update)
Thanks.
It should be unlocked, I am not sure.
If you flash twrp, PLEASE Disable auto reboot in the Odin options tab.
我也是这种情况。降级时提示bl没有解锁,但我已经解锁了oem并重启提示bl已经解锁。如果你成功了,给我看看
