Just an FYI if you are looking at the tencent 128gb version; it does not come with the rear fan, which is no big deal. But it also doesn't come with the proper 30w power supply to power the mobile desktop dock. So if you want to use that, you'll have to pay $50 for the charger as well, as that charger is required. No others will work.

I sucked it up and paid $50 for the rog1 oem charger, because I know from experience nothing else works on that desk dock.

I see you dont mind paying a higher price for a Samsung branded product. But the truth is that any cheaper charger will get the job done just as well. You could probably find something on Amazon for less than half the price.. Just my opinion.

It costs them pennies to make a charger.

For $13 I expect the chargers, etc to be big POS but are the batteries themselves good quality? I still ordered one based on the fact from the pictures it appears they are legit Samsung OEM batteries.

To be honest it almost looks like they were built on the same assembly line without the samsung sticker. as far as long term use only time will tell but for now they seem to work just as well as the OEM

Just ordered the item from OP. Will let you know how it was when it arrives.
I got mine and tested everything out. Everything works, except the spare batteries seem to last about 10% less than the Samsung battery. For some reason they included a strap (not pictured) that our phones have no space for as a bonus gift. Overall, a very good deal.

Depends what you want in a charger. If you were planing to get an external battery power pack this is a good 2 in 1.
Personally I wanted the smallest charger I could find. The LG puck was out off stock at Verizon and on eBay the one I found were shipping from China and Korea. So I went with the next best thing the Nokia DT-900 from AT&T store. I really like it, matte plastic, simple design just like the black N5, and not picky about positioning.
The only negative for me is the non standard wall AC adapter instead of micro USB input.

I almost bought that one the other day, but apparently when it's done charging you have to take your phone off of it or it will drain the battery.

More than that, static one position, the receiving device must be carefully positioned on the charger unlike the more expensive (and better) free positioning ones which track the receiving device and move the coil (and have the capability of moving the coil to a second device once the first is fully charged)..

i used my N7 2012 charger in combination with the Moto360 charger and it didn't go to the circle charging screen. The battery was charging, but it didn't dock until I switched to the included power supply. Is it an amperage thing?

Sounds more like a cable thing. The N7 2012 charger is much higher amperage than the OEM 360 wall charger. The dock will only draw what it needs, so higher amp charger isn't an issue.

Yes. I would totally agree if it wasn't for the store being a massive company and it wasn't a complete hassle to go back and return it.
I just ordered the Qi charger from Amazon for 9 shipped with Amazon prime.
Available officially on lg.com. $40 for battery and $30 for cradle. You can both for $40 USD on Amazon though.

I still don't understand why they call it a "cradle" it's NOT a cradle. It's a battery charger. A cradle I always saw as something that you can seat your device into. I may get a spare battery as I already have this:

Hmm, I didn't even think of that. That's a really interesting question. I just used the cable I had that I had been using from my V10. I bought a bunch of MicroUSB --> USBC adapters so I wouldn't have to buy all new cables.
