Dude no custom roms are out. I don't find it disrespectful to request but come on. Let the devs actually get a beta Los rom, or something along that line, up and running before we start requesting this rom or that rom.
Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk

Who even want miui? That just a pile of bug with a ads developed by a facerolling on the keyboard.

It would be far easier just to get a Xiaomi phone.

Actually exist one , an experimental gsi =[
Really buggie , and there are several months since they no longer update the rom
:crying:

Will we ever get custom roms for our a50, all available roms are either crappy non working worst gsi's, and other's are samsung one ui with some tweak. Atleast i was expecting a stock android rom.
Don't make excuses if developers wanted they would've done it even I'm shocked newly launched some mediatek powered realme phones having bunch of stable roms but not this device.
Phew

I think it has something to do with the Exynos 9610 processor... if it was snapdragon it would be easier.

Just stay with default One UI! These days performance and battery on stock roms are good, if not better than custom roms! Especially camera quality is the main reason to say stock.

Miui for I9195?

Do you guys know if Miui (the rom, no mods) is available for the I9195?
No not yet, but i may decide to port it
Any roms available for the phone will be listed in S4 Mini Original Development subforum.
At the moment there's only CM and Carbon

What would make you to decide to port it ?
I looked a bit to begin myself, but I really don't have time to launch myself into a project like that for now.

Regarding custom rooms like CM, paranoid android, Omni rom, etc

it's a very know fact that maximum of the devices from Indian brands never have access to these well known rooms while they have good specifications. Why is it so?
yes Roms from other devices are ported to the Indian brand mobiles but it doesn't match my expectations.
If these senior respected developers can somehow show some love to Indian brand mobiles, it would be great.
It's my personal thinking. Yours can differ.

see..
what i have understood is.. basically custom roms are developed for whom, whose official roms are pathetic and have loads of bloatwares.
indian brands do not take load to customize the rom and barely put few bloatwares resulting low cost mobile fones.
these are stock androids are i feel are very stable wrt performance. :good:
we only have option to play with launchers :fingers-crossed:

Yes I agree. It also provide performance improvement options. Optimization on various things and near possibility to do any things. Problem is we need some sources based on CM or PA to start with MTK devices. Hopes one day will have it. Then we will start it.

Mtk devices are in market from so long and still nothing happened.... Still waiting..
The main problem!
CM, Paranoid, AOKP, AOSP are some great ROM's indeed! However, I believe Mediatek does not release it's kernel source, in other words, It's kernels are 'Closed Source'. Cyanogenmod requires a custom kernel to be built and compiled, for that, complete kernel source is needed. A few leaked sources for MT6589 made first CM possible. Until MTK changes it's mind, its very much impossible to see all those quality ROM's for our handsets. I also think that there is a petition on change.org, requesting Mediatek to make everything open source. You can sign it, I have signed it as well.

Forget about Custom ROMs! Being an Exynos device, the chipset is entirely closed-source. Hence it's quite difficult for the developers to create custom ROMs. The only exception being some high-end Samsung Galaxy flagships that have a ROM or two.
Always remember, if you're interested in Custom ROMs and related developments, buy devices in this order: Snapdragon > MediaTek > Exynos

That's not true. I had a Samsung J7 Prime and have a lot of working roms. And i suposed that are many exynos devices which have custom roms. So, is posible. But is work for developers, if they want.

Redmi Note 8T/Willow Lag

Hi guys, i'm going throught a problem wich Is driving me Crazy..
I tried nearly every rom for willow, pe, derp, havoc, lineage, but none of these seems to be entirely snappy and smooth.
I tried different kernels too, but no Launcher used to improve. The major problem about this Is the Launcher, that lag makes every launcher horrible.
Is It Just me or i'm searching too much? I don't care about gaming, i just need a comfortable ui.
The only rom that seems to be decent Is miuimix 2.0, not even official MIUI...
I can't underatand if that's a software or a hardware issue...
Please help, i'm starting to hate my phone.
Every Q ROM is plagued by the lag issue. The culprit is the broken HWC in the source/device tree, which is apparently the base for all of the Q roms . So unless someone fixes the source, the lag is not going anywhere.
The best thing to do right now is to wait for the devs to fix the device tree and hopefully we can have a decent Android 10 custom ROM experience.

Wich rom?
By the way i found out that basically the problem Is the firmware. I Always used to flash fw before rom, but with Q roms that's not necessary. Most of the Q rom work best without any fw, unless specified. Only problematic rom Is crdroid wich lags depending on wallpaper...
hi , I have tried all the roms with this smartphone. certainly the most fluid is lineage 16. and that's what I'm using . and I feel really good .

Make own miui rom?

I have a question about this idea.
Xiaomi.eu team dropped support for the Redmi Note 8 Pro due to issues with bricking that can’t be easily recovered from.
But, we now have cfw antibrick system, does anyone know or by any chance have a way to make miui roma based on chinese weekly beta.
On GitHub we have Multilang project to compile inside rom.
Maybe some one know ingbrzy from xiaomi forum, asking him for tree and other advanced stuff which he adds to roms for other types of phones.
I know we have custom roms, but i like stock miui rom.
Any help is welcome, if necessary and someone knows the necessary things for making roma, and does not want to say publicly, he can call me at pm, to make it for myself even if I make a hard brick of my cell phone.
cheers.
i have same question , but the real question is , is it worth it? i mean we all left miui for same reason basic things are bad no nav bar ram management doesn't exist on miui stock compared to samsung m31 great stock one ui , and after all custom roms try to give you the pixel feeling which is imo better than any isheep phone out there , i hope if someone is able to do something like that , unofficial miui rom wouldn't be as reliable as official miui 12 and will take effort to port and get it customized for us.

If you see forum with relased miui 12 for not so small list of phones, and very big list of "ROMs features (Whats not in Global)", i think yes. It worth it.
It was the same rom for our model with all those extras, so if it continued, we would have a weekly update, but there were a lot of hard bricks so they gave up on further release.
That's why I asked, now we have a cfw antibrick system so we're safe.
