Verizon Preorders missing from "My Verizon" app - ? - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

After much tech support chatting in the My Verizon app I pre-ordered the phone with Verizon and it does not appear under the "My Orders" portion of the app - but is visible when I log into the Verizon web site... I've reached back to them and they say it is no issue... But no activity on the order yet... still "Processing" from day 1...
(The My Verizon "My Orders" section shows numerous other orders from previous years....)
Anyone else run into this?

Only partially your issue... I see it in both (as well as other orders) but I'm still seeing processing as well (pre-ordered 8/11)

Samsung Omnia 7 Three UK

Sadly it would appear that Three in the UK are not currently listing the Samsung Omnia 7 as available dispite WP7 listing them as a carrier
Anybody got any inside info on why this is?

Omnia 7 in the UK is available through T-Mobile / Three / Orange. But following a series of great deals for this handset, I can confirm it's currently out of stock on T-Mobile, so I assume that is the case with Three. For the past few weeks Omnia 7 has been offered for £15.33/15.00 pm on T-Mob/3 respectively.
I wonder if the device is being heavily subsided by Microsoft/OEMs or the carriers themselves?
I.e. are the carriers trying to get rid of their Omnia 7s or is it a concerted push by MS to try and increase their share of the market..?

I don't think it's a MS attempt, because all the other WP7 handsets retain their £20-30 pm price bracket, at least in the UK market. (HTC 7 Trophy being the only exclusion). The Omnia7 (the 16GB edition) was offered in Germany, from T-Mobile @ 199eur (~£176) on PAYG, as well.
It seems strange, though, cause if there is one WP7 device that enjoys some success, that's the Omnia7. Just a wild guess, the Omnia7 was close to hit end of stock, and was offered on discount to clear.
T-mobile appear to be absent of Omnia 7's too ?
The reason I looked is that I ordered one earlier in the week for my father, he had play with mine before saying get one to replace his wm6.2
colleague wants a cheap smart phone again I showed him mine & said look for a Omnia 7 on T-mobile or three, from £15 the three deal comes with .5 GB of data
I got a report that the phones ain't there.
Orange don't have an Omnia just a Mozart

Currently personal device Galaxy S3
It's in my sig.
Alot of Epic and Epic Touch users here,to me those were the best phones.
Sprint should have made its own version of S3,in one way its good that they didnt but Sprint always had best Galaxy variants
The full list is in my sig, but anybody remember the Qualcomm Q phone? It was a totally cool phone except the reception was awful. Sprint finally gave me a full refund on that one.

Sorry for the long reply in advance, this is the reply I got from them.
Thank you for contacting us regarding your inquiry, we are happy to
assist.
Unfortunately, the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III cannot be activated on
our Network. As mentioned in our previous e-mail, we started activating
devices that were previously activated with certain wireless service
providers or unlocked phones.
However, not all devices are eligible to be activated on our system. As
of the moment, only selected iPhones from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile can
be activated on our system, but we are still working on other devices.
Below is the information for your reference:
- Verizon: iPhones 5c, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus and SE. iPhone 7 and 7
Plus Compatibles Models are A1660 and A1661
- AT&T: iPhones 6, 6 Plus, 6s and 6s Plus. iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
Compatibles Models are A1660 and A1661
- T-Mobile: iPhones 6, 6 Plus, 6s and 6s Plus. iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
Compatibles Models are A1660 and A1661
- Moto G5 Plus (XT1687) phone: Not wireless Carrier specific
- Samsung Galaxy S7 Special Edition (SPH-G930U) and S7 Edge Special
Edition (SM-G935U): Unlocked Device Not wireless Carrier specific.
NOTE: To activate the phones listed above with Virgin Mobile USA you
have to buy a UICC SIM card kit retail for $10 + tax. To buy a SIM card
kit visit a Sprint store or RadioShack and they will install and
activate your phone.

Wow. Sprint owns virgin mobile, lol. It's the exact same phone, model number, everything. Well, I guess they won't do it. Sorry to hear.

Enable NFC

Hi,
I've the LG Venture X phone. While it is listed to have NFC on many different websites (including AT&T, gsmarena etc..) The phone doesn't seem to have it after all. I see nothing in the settings and some NFC related apps cannot be installed and those that I can, as soon as I open the app it states that the phone doesn't support NFC.
It is important to note that the phone has the snapdragon 435 and it does support NFC for sure.
Is there someway to enable it after all?
Thanks,
Y.
Hi @ystoffman,
Sadly, it looks like neither or "X Venture" models is equiped with NFC. Based on offical LG site info (search x venture on lg.com) there are 4 models
LG X venture AT&T H700 Black
LG X venture AT&T H700 Brown
LG X venture Unlocked US701
LG X venture U.S. Cellular US701
Hi,
In the at&t website it says that their model has NFC (I cannot post an outside link at this point, sorry ) . And I'm sure that true as in several video reviews I've seen the NFC icon was present on the status bat. I, however, own the Unlocked version... I more than sure this is a software issue. Annoying.
