Working 3Minit Battery for Android 10 - Google Pixel 3 XL Themes, Apps, and Mods

I've patched a way so that 3Minit can work on the Pixel 3XL on Android 10.
This mod can be found here:
https://github.com/gharrington/3Minit_Battery_Mod
All the batteries were made by the author's listed below and are freely available for download through the 3Minit Battery settings app at the link above.
All the batteries were made by the author's listed below.
You no longer have to flash the minitbatteryresources.apk separately since it is included in the 3Minit zip. The 3MinitBatterySettings.apk and MinitClock.apk are also included where applicable.
If you are using active edge, delete the Active Edge module first.

This ADB zip is for bat files to install additional 3 Minit batteries (batteries by author's below).
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1899786940962607108
Using the thumbs to find the battery you want you can download the batteries for that author.
You will need to find the author and number of the battery you want either from the Minit battery settings app or by looking through the enclosed thumbs folder. (Do not try to download and apply any battery from 3Minit Settings app while you have 3Minit battery installed and running on your phone. You will fc). Unzip the author's folder into the 3MinitBatteryIcons folder. It should be like this:
3MinitBatteryIcons folder
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
pas2001 folder
Run the Tulsadiver3MinitBatteries.bat
In the ADB menu:
1. Select the author.
2. Next window type in the battery number and hit enter
3. Enter 500 to go back to first menu
4. Select complete installation.
That will put a magisk flashable zip named myminitbattery.zip in a folder called ozop on your sdcard.
5. Flash that zip in Magisk.

Thanks. I will try when I switch over to Q (Soon). I'm scared to switch now since Pie has everything working so well. But who knows, maybe I will try it out soon and see. If it doesn't work out, I'll have a back up and cooked back. Perhaps tomorrow I'll have as some time.

That's understandable, and white is perfect. I personally use dark backgrounds. I always have my alarm icon on so to the left of it. On top of each other would be awesome. I miss that feature from custom roms. My Pixel 3xl is stock rooted on A10, my Nexus 6p is pixel experience rom rooted. So when out and about with my daily driver P3xl I miss seeing the Network indicator going on and off

You are the man! So just flash through Magisk and reboot right? If I bootloop, what would the proper steps be to get it to normal? And this is made for the pixel 3xl correct?

Unfortunately, without TWRP, a bad flash of systemui and framework (bootloop) takes a factory reset. Magisk survives a reflashing of system images.
I did flash it myself and there isn't much room if you are using data. The only thing you could do is remove the alarm icon to make some room.

That looks awesome, great work! And strangely enough, I was able to use Nova launcher widget shortcuts and still be able to use system ui tuner to its full extent. I was able to add seconds to the clock, remove the alarm icon and pretty much everything else even though Google had "removed" it from being usable anymore. Can you also access system ui tuner and edit icons on your device?

ABOUT:
This is my first ROM thread! I signed up at this forum 2 years ago when i purchased my HTC Desire. So this is kind of a historical moment for me. I wanted to create a ROM that is pretty much standard BUT includes Tablet UI because i dont like the Phablet UI. There are other ROMs that do equal stuff but these come with a lot of extras and are not necessarily stable. I wanted a simple, stable rom that has tablet UI.
A little while after release i wanted to implement some more features. I think this would contradict the whole concept though. That's why I will make flashable zip files with the modifications, so you can decide whether you want the changes or not

Thanks! The rom looks great! Just what I was hoping for. The only issue I've noticed is that Google Now is telling me that the Location Service is turned off. When I check the settings, Access is turned on and GPS and Wi-Fi are both ticked. The web browser isn't able to figure out my location either, so something's going on with the location settings. Appreciate the rom, though!

Is it possible for you to add extended power menu option to include reboot to recovery etc. with power button please?
I am getting a message, Location settings aren't working in google now. Are these working or something wrong at my end. Though all location settings are checked, including the gps.
Hi clavicle,
another user (billplowman) had the same problems with the location settings. I'm not sure why this happens. I assume it has something to do with the gapps. I used the Cyanogenmod gapps and they might have a bug. Im really new to developing Roms which is why i cant really debug your issue.
As a solution i recommend you to try other flashable gapps packages. (Just pick one of the other Rom threads) If it works I'd be grateful if you could post the working gapps here.
Adding extended power menu is on the top of my priority list. If you know some Howtos or any kind of knowledge on how to implement it please let me know!
Thanks for the reply, I will try to install few more gaps and let you know about it.

@schnip here's some help...
For Google Location Service, use the changes in this commit... https://github.com/craigacgomez/and...mmit/52e41df4e67c4aebd51464746a5c8fa0b86bb9d1
For the Advanced Power Menu... here's a git diff of the changes... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34280090#post34280090 but you still need the images...
Great start to the exact ROM I am hoping for. Currently I find the time in notification bar to be small and hulu plus doesn't recognize as supported device (which I noticed on paranoid android rom too...). I tried some gapps but they either crash or location service is broken. Also what happened to tiles?
I def check back and test new versions of this rom. Goodluck and great work so far.

Yes. I have a completely stock Nexus 10. Except that i unlocked and rooted the stock Rom.
Then i took the completely stock AOSP and built a Rom. I flashed that rom as otazip package to see if it works and it does.
Then i took the services.jar and services.odex from the AOSP rom and replaced the corresponding files on my stock rooted rom. (I used adb shell to remove the old files and then adb pushed the new ones)
And it results in a boot loop.
I compiled the rom using this for "lunch" full_manta-user. I used "user" to make sure the rom is odexed because using full_manta-userdebug results in a deodexed rom.

Slim Nozomi Honami Cyanogen Way UB/LB

Here is my tribute to Cyanogenmode team and their great success in creating lightning speed roms.
This rom is based on my Nozomi Pure Black, but instead of the original size of 390 mb, this version has only 203 mb in zip. This is as close to CM roms (190 mb) as possible. I believe there is no other stock based rom of this size. In addition to removing usual Google/Social/Sony bloat, I took great care to get rid of literally hundreds of unnecessary files in framework and lib directories. As a result, the rom is (in my view, of course) as fast, fluid and ram available, as CM roms, but with the added benefit of good battery life. Your Android OS won't take more than 4-6% of battery life. At the same time, the rom has all the usual and latest Xperia Z1 features: honami framework/icons/animation.
The idea was to improve on something that is hard rock stable, as opposed to doing Kitkat, which is ages away from stability on the part of Google and the development community without negating the latter's great work.
DESCRIPTION:
1. Fully deodexed, rooted, busyboxed, debloated (3rd party GAPPS still work), black themed version.
2. Based on JB 4.1.2/.96
3. Honami Framework with fully black UI including Phone, Contacts, Calendar, Clock, Calculator, Home (7 icons), Quick Settings, Volume Panel et al
4. CPU Control, Led Control, SMS Counter and OEM Dock in Settings
5. Apollo player and CM file manager
6. AOSP lock screen with new vertical animation
7. Nexus Camera with all resolutions (no stock camera)
8. Only 203 mb in size (zipped)
9. On first start about 375-385 mb of ram available
10. Regular boot is under 30 seconds
11. Blue themed dynamic boot animation
12. Ready to go APN settings for many countries
CREDITS: Niabok and JJwrongJJ for Honami Framework, Hitfan for 7 icon Home, Avik6123 for latest Z1 apps, CM team for Apollo, CM File manager and APN settings. PM me if I forgot you.
INSTALL INSTRUCTION
1. Have 211/.96 JB stock kernel,root and CWM
2. Enter recovery, go to Mounts and Storage, mount System/Cache/Data and format each. Remember, factory reset is not enough!
3. Install the rom, reboot and let it settle
4. Go to Settings/Display/Quick Settings and choose Quick Settings for black, as opposed to SystemUI for white
5. Enable Wifi/Data, then go to Settings/Wifi/Advanced and tick stay on when screen is off, if you use VOIP services
6. Install CWM and you are all set
7. Enjoy the rom and hit Thank you/Donate or both
Rom and GAPPS are in Download Section
P.S. Be warned that I don't have Xperia S, so there is a slight chance things can go wrong including, but not limited to bootloop and facing nothing more than your favorite Sony logo. The ION version of this rom works fine and as fast as CM mode. So, back up your current rom.

Settings apps are the same, but I did have a version for Nozomi. Don't know how this happened. But you are not using stock kernel. So, all bets are off.
This is aosp lock screen, so just put the finger on the lock and swipe to the right. The screen is supposed to go up... Small apps have been purged together with small app bar for being fancy bloat.

This is aosp lock screen, so just put the finger on the lock and swipe to the right. The screen is supposed to go up... Small apps have been purged together with small app bar for being fancy bloat.

Yes!:sly: Thank you Bri:thumbup::thumbup:
Gonna give this a spin. Do this ROM have unlimited tethering? Thank you for your work.
Thank you very much for your hard work
Lets get the party started lol. Got a new boot animation for you Bri but i lost everything on my freaking computer, all my designs, walls, icons, you name it, but im gonna pull the images from the boot and send them to you in a zip, if you have the time to convert them. Just let me know. And a million thanks for making this happen.
Right now it's stock themed. No unlimited tether atm. And has alot of room to grow. Expect steady updates now and I start bringing more features in along with some theming
Lets enjoy the ride and see where we end up! :laugh:
And this is to be just like the Dynamic Kat thread was. Open discussion is encouraged. Even if it is a bit off topic
This is our home!
Does this have the Netflix fix included? I'm looking forward to putting this on my TMo Note 4. Thanks for all of your hard work!
No it does not, perhaps I should include that in the next update!

WETA is a rom for Music geeks like me, though because we are still waiting on TWRP to become available i'd thought i'd make these MODs to flash in the meantime.

Dolby Atmos
Sony Xperia™ Z5 Premium audio system
Beats™ libraries and effects
WETA Reboot app

Changes...
10th Nov
Updated and added mods for November firmwares. These may work for older firmware but no guarantees.
Added center clock only, and 4,5,6 QS tile options.
WETA Mod 3.0
Ive moved all mods from the now abandoned WETA rom into an Aroma installer that can be flashed over stock rooted firmware. This is based off the NMF26U firmware but should work on NMF26V also.
WETA Mod 3.1
Fixed V4A install issues

If you like my work, please consider buying this poor guy a craft beer for his efforts
Warning. This mod has only been tested on the pixel XL. I'm assuming the apk that's used is the same file on both devices.
So just be aware, if this fails, you will need to fastboot flash system.img to boot again. If someone could test this that would be awesome..

It seems there's an issue regardless of whether it works on pixel. I've pulled the link until I fix later today

SystemUI Crashes...
So after trying to figure out what he hell is wrong with my mods, ive gone to the SuperSU thread and have read people are having these crash issues, even with an unmodified system. So this is all related to root in general.
Looks like we are going to have to just wait for a fix on the root side of things..... ill be pulling links until there is an update to SuperSU

Link is back up, use at your own risk. Being aware that supersu isn't stable.

Possible SystemUI crash fix
I have disabled all low battery warnings in framework-res.apk as i found that my SystemUI would crash whenever i unplugged usb on low battery. This had an immediate good result for me. It may not be the only issue with root though. But try it out.

If you have only flashed stock system.img and not wiped data and USB debugging was activated in dev settings then you can do this...
In a terminal on PC
adb shell
su (allow root)
cd /data/system/users/0
rm runtime-permissions.xml
reboot
This clears out any bad systemui data

It just made my phone reboot with no features of this mod.
Is there a log I can get to help?
