I was thinking if anyone could port the Note10 to the S9
One of the reasons is to have the Samsung DeX app for Windows fully work with the device.

im sure that a port for the note 10 is underway, but only for the g960f devices, or ones with unlockable bootloaders.

So the exynos model is not locked?
I was thinking about getting the sd845 model because the performance appeared better, but if it's a cumbersome model to work with and the exynos is better for development. Then maybe one should aim for that model instead.
Wouldnt go for a Samsung phone if you want great custom rom support. Its split between exynos and snapdragon AND you will have to stay with samsung experience roms if you want to have a camera that is not garbage.
Exynos battery isn't as good as snapdragon

yep i have the floyd rom v4. the only problem im encountering is heating problems and battery issues but youre good to go

Hi devs, i was wondering whether it would be possible to port the A51 rom to our A50 devices, so we can get Android 10 and one ui 2.0 a little earlier. I think most of the specs are similar between the two devices.

Many packages still need to be modified. Not worth the hassle.
A50 is expected to get Android 10 ( One UI 2.0 ) soon.
Samsung is already rolling out Android 10 for M20/M30 reportedly in India and other regions ( phase 1 ).
The previous time-line of A50 getting Android 10 in 2020 quarter has been dumped.
A50 users can expect Android 10 as we slide on to the next year in a month.

Good to hear. As far as I read the A50 will only get Android 10 in may.. do you have any sources that I could read about this change in update scheme (not that I don't trust you :highfive: )

I used to work at Samsung as a developer, I've inmates over there.
A51 will be out soon with Android 10 while flagship devices Note and S series have already started receiving Android 10 from yesterday.

Just like in here I dont like the way samsung implemented blur effect on this phone. Can I make it look like the flagship phones?
I managed to enable window level blurs with this magisk module but I think one ui uses a different implementation :')
i read somewhere that you can change it by adding some lines at the floating_point.xml located at the vendor\etc but when i tried it didnt work. you can also get flagship level animations with adding lines to this file
Yeah animations can be achieved via floating_feature.xml but turn out to achieve live blur, you need some extra libraries.
Someone took s21fe rom and ported it to a52. maybe we can port it for a32 too

I'm only 10 so I can't buy a new phone, but I rooted my phone, Installed an Android 10 ROM on an LG G3 with Android 5, Dual-booted my Windows with Ubuntu on my PC and laptop, Installed checkra1n jailbreak on my old iPhone, and almost succeeded installing macOS on my laptop by using Hackintosh. So please port the S21's OneUI 6.0 to the S20 when OneUI 6.0 will be released.
I have s20+ and S20 ultra, i want OneUI 6.0 too but this is not possible for both of us.

It is if someone ports the S21's firmware to an S20's ROM.
Starting with Galaxy S1, i flashed many Roms, I did not see any benefit. There will be no difference between OneIU 5 or 6 or 4.

Im sorry, youre 10 and you have an S20 ultra? At 10 i had an 80 euro phone and i wasnt complaining about features. They probably will release a port , so just be patient until one ui 6 even comes out and then wait a little more for someone to port it. It doesnt take a snap to port a rom. I waited 5 months for one ui 5 on my alt S10e. btw you sound similar to 10 yr old me , i was doing the same things to my moms old laptop haha

If nobody ports it, make sure to do it yourself because I also have an S20 Plus. If it doesn't work, maybe someone can build an AOSP-based ROM for S20+. The sources and builds are available publicly. Any developer with the device should be able to do so. One UI has become boring
