Outdoor visibility (max brightness) - Xiaomi Mi A3 Real Life Review

Rate this thread to express how well you can see the Xiaomi Mi A3's display outdoors. In case you've been playing Minecraft for 18 months straight, you might not known how to get outside anymore. Well, find the door and walk through it. A higher rating indicates that it has very high maximum brightness and thus fantastic outdoor visibility in direct sunlight.

it doesn't have the burst brightness of cc9e, despite having the same hardware. Its maximum brightness is only about 400nits. In direct sunlight, it's hard to see. However, most daylight usage has been okay, as long as it's not a sunny day with the summer sun over your head.

To Use some apps like f-lux or others that promise to increase brightness can be useful?

@seities , My Thoughts Exactly
The screen brightness is okay in most situations.

I have to turn it to full brightness yo use it on sunny days. Not really impressed with it, though its useable. But it could be better

Eye strain, headaches - oversaturated, blurred, pixelated mess - disaster display ...

Outdoor visibility in direct sunlight is OK. Not spectacular, but about the same as Mi A1 - despite the fact that A1 display has better parameters and measurements, real life usage is pretty much the same. Could be better, could be worse..

This screen is bright!
Yeah I would agree. The screen is way too bright.
I would hope that the android 7 update will bring a better brightness slider so that we can have a more varying degrees of blindness...err brightness.
Outdoor visibility is very good. I am surprised!

Outdoor visibility is the biggest downside of the OP3T's display.
The visibility is very good but in maximum brightness and very sunny day LG G4 or Samsung Galaxy has better visibility.
Outdoor visibility is usually fine but I use high brightness mode when needed in direct sunlight.
Max brightness is definitely good enough, I never really had any issue in using the screen, even in conditions of direct strong sunlight
Sometimes I just find the automatic brightness sensor not super-reactive to adjust it accordingly

Easily visible outside with just 40-50% brightness so with max brightness it looks very bright even in the blazing sun!

Actually not that impressive. My Redmit Note 4 can be brighter. It's still perfectly readable though, but you do need to turn the brightness all the way up on a sunny day, to have a chance at seeing it.
