Google Play Store 3.9.16 - Remove Entries From All Apps, Keep Track Of Position In Lists, Expandable Notifications, And More

Google just started rolling out an updated Google Play Store version 3.9.16 that follows the previous version 3.8.17 from August. Good news, everyone - we've already got our hands on the APK for you to install manually thanks to our loyal tipsters.
What's New
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.
Update #1: You can multi-select by long-pressing any app in the list and then tapping more apps, then delete them all in one go (added 2 new screenshots demonstrating it).
Update #2: The new Play Store now keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it drops you into the same spot. I had variable luck with this, and it didn't seem to work in All Apps at first, but I just reproduced it on both the EVO LTE and the Nexus 7. Brilliant.
Update #3: The notification icon that shows up when you have app updates has changed, and notifications are now expandable. I've added more screenshots showing the differences.
Update #4: The notification icon after installing an app now shows the app icon instead of something generic.
The size of the Play Store APK actually went down, so Google must have trimmed some extra fat. We're still digging through everything - in the meantime, check out the screenshots and grab the new version from our mirrors.

We verified the APK as legitimate and signed by Google, so have no fear. Just download it to your device and install as you would any other APK - it'll prompt to update your current Play Store.

About time they started doing something about that list, but ...
Google need to implement features to be able to sort lists, especially that All Apps list. In the past it used to be sorted by the date the app was last installed, but now it is on the date when the app was first ever installed on the account, which is annoying.
Sometimes when I do a full wipe, I like to do fresh isntalls of all my apps, and the All Apps used to be ready handy for that as all my recently installed apps (and most requently used) will be at the top and all the apps that I installed and removed and never used again would be at the bottom. Now its just a pain trying to scroll through that entire list. An option to sort it how I like would be priceless.

Multi dpi compatible?? I'm planning to use it on 208 dpi

As i said in my previous post : it (multiple selection delete) doesn't work in GINGERBREAD (android 2.3).
Anyone else having this problem (limitation) ? :crying:

I have problam in my play store about *this app is not available for ur country* but I resolved this problam by *marker unlocker pro*... but in last few days becom not effect on play store ... say done successfully but nothing change ... I don't know what I did to become like this .. am asking if this play store can resolve this problam ... or any anther option u have .. sorry for my bad english .

Probably same for me. Its on Samsung to fix the modules, I can not do anything about them sorry.

New build is going live in beta:
•Night mode is now fully amoled.
•Fixed navbar remaining white in night mode.

v2.4 is now live on playstore with installation status indicators and some improvements.

It means it's not available in your area. Try to find the .apk file online and install it manually, then it will appear in NiceLock.

I have done that installed the apk from Apkmirror and more and used all version..not working and stopping... I even gain access to the galaxy store using vpn and downloaded the availa6 nut edge lighting wasn't there also..so i tried all means

Do you have edge lightning on your device natively without the module? Im not sure why it's not working for you, maybe just your device is not supported

Downloader Companion App & Manual Module Links ​Hi everyone,
Due to Google Play Store policies, I had to remove any links that "has a purpose that facilitates the distribution of software applications and games for use on Android devices outside of Google Play from support thread". The main reason support thread to be affected is Google Play considers any link provided within the app is a part of the app. So I moved the links to here and this thread will not be pointed from the app. I'm also working on an auto-updater/downloader that can be insalled only from outside the store. Wow this looks amazing! Might actually be the best theme for OOS right now. Although I do have a suggestion: in a future update do you think you could get rid of the weird cut offs and occasionally questionable gradients? I feel that this theme has a ton of potential to be even cleaner that it already is.

About your suggestion-
May be you didn't followed the instructions completely.
Turn off Dark mode and Turn it ON again after-
-After applying theme
-After making any changes and applying
-After any Reboot (sometimes needed)
This make changes completely (by fixing that cut offs)

Thanks for your response. I actually did follow those instructions and did so again just in case with the same results. Super clean looking still but you know.... always could look better~

Sometimes restarting systemui resolves this.

Also did this now with no difference but no worries it's alright. Maybe it's something with these options?

That corners you are talking about that should be gone after triggering dark mode/restart systemui and etc. But in your case its not going.
If you have full knowledge about susbtratum and small small things then I do recommend to do several tests like restarting systemui manually, in substratum, triggering dark mode again and again in different situations or colors.
This will be helpful for both of us.
Till then I will do research about this thing in my theme so it should work completely on differen devices.

Disable, remove and uninstall overlays and remove Substratum.
Try Substratum Lite and let me know the results.
