What is the way to install TWRP? - Sony Xperia M5

Hi!
I'm searching the way to install LineageOs that I found on my Xperia D2303 (https://www.droidword.com/2017/12/10/update-sony-xperia-m2-to-android-8-0-oreo-lineageos-rom/).
I found lots of info for do this, but, I can't understand what is the way.
On the official post for TWRP I can see that this recovery not works for stock roms, and I have a stock rom, not rooted and with bootloader unlocked.
Well, TWRP needs a custom rom / kernel, but to install the rom TWRP is needed, how is this possible? What I need to do to get the rom that I said working on my M2??
I'm lost, I need a (half)step-by-step tuto....or similar..to understand this.
Thanks!
--EDIT--
SORRY!!! I was wrong about the forum, this is a post for a M2 forum, not M5. If any can move this to M2 forum will be great.

Looking for the latest CWM version available for Xperia Mini Pro 10

Hi folks, I would like to install the [KK_4.4.2] PHD rom on a Xperia Mini Pro 10 but I can't seem to find a link to download a compatible version of CWM , my device is on stock 4.0 ICS but it's rooted and I was able to install an older version of CWM on it only which gave me an error (error 7) when I tried to instal KK. I already asked on the ROM thread however the developer did not respond to it yet.
Any help finding the download link and instructions on how to install it is much appreciated.
Thanks!

hey the rom you want to install needs custom kernel. (its inside zip) all custom kernel have recovery INSIDE. so dont worry about CWM, just flash that kernel 1st

Hi buddy, I checked the zip contents and couldn't find "boot.img" inside, wasn't that supposed to be the kernal containing CWM?
Thanks
Stop everything that you are doing.
You are in the wrong forum. Installing this ROM will brick your device for good. This forum has all the stuff for Xperia Arc phone, you don't have it so you shouldn't be here at all.

New here Looking for guidance on rooting and stable roms

New here Looking for guidance on rooting and stable roms
Rooting?
CF-Auto Root. Sprints NIE works on KK NK2 and LP OB7.
TWRP2 for recovery. Search TRLTE and choose Sprint version.
Stable ROMs. Check android dev section. As stable as any of them can get, its all up to the users on how they use their device.

Absolutely yes. If you flash a stock touchwiz rom then all original apps & features work just like original out of the box. If you flash a custom Cyanogen mod rom or other AOSP rom, then expect issues as these type of roms do not include all of the original samsung features, apps, etc. I'm assuming you want to remain on the stock Sprint Samsung rom so visit this thread and flash one of those stock roms first. But before you begin, you will need to read up on how to root your phone and flash the TWRP recovery. You must flash a custom recovery before you can flash a stock or custom rom. Just look around in the development forums and you will find all the information you need.
tx_dbs_tx, I'm in the same boat w/ 4.4 currently installed.
From what little I've read I'm thinking 5.0 might be a wait (reports of memory leak & battery issues) in hopes that 5.1 will be a better option as I don't have time to fight with those kind of issues right now.
My plan was to root 4.4 and stay there for the next few(?) months.
Am I misinformed?
Thanks!
Its been a fewyrs since i last rooted a device ( Evo4gLTE) and Im having issues trying to root my Note 4. Installed Lollipop only because I found multiple sources saying it can be rooted with lollipop, but everytime i try to use autoroot , which i got from this forum, Odin regognizes but wont flash when i hit start. [Q] What is the latest CM stable version for a locked bootloader Xperia S?

Hi everyone,
I have searched in the forums but I don't have any luck so far. I have found a post in how to install CyanogenMod 12 and 11 on unlocked bootloaders but unfortunately, I can't unlock my bootloader. I also found these posts regarding CM 10:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2593806
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572514
But I'm not sure if this are the latest since some urls are broken and it hasn't been updated in a while. Anyone know what is the latest and stable CM version I can install on my locked Xperia S? and also some instructions would be nice. I currently have prerooted version 6.2.B.0.200 by DoomLord and I have some kind of recovery (CWM IIRC) if that helps.
Thank you very much =).

You can flash CM10 on a locked bootloader. The links for the first rom you mentioned are working fine. You cannot flash CM11 or Cm12 on a locked bootloader because they need a custom kernel as they have android versions higher than the stock. And so you cannot flash them.
Just download the rom and gapps. Place them on your sdcard. Reboot into recovery and wipe data, cache, dalvik cache. Then flash bot the rom and gapps.
Hope this helps
Thanks! I got it working now. Finally.

Go through the General section, You will find many threads with with flashable zips of Lollipop which are pre-rooted and have a recovery to. You can flash any of them via recovery.
Thanks m8
And what with Xposed? becouse i read there are some problems
Xposed will work but you I think you have to debloat the rom first. There is a debloat zip around and I flashed to avoid bootloops after installing xposed . As a bonus my phone felt snappier as well. You can always flash the needed bloat afterwards. I flashed a preerooted rom just to test with the intention to return to KitKat, but just like it to much. Waiting for the Nordic version but very happy with prerooted RU.

Installing Xtended XS ROM

Couldn't get the answers in the thread for the ROM, so...
I want to install this ROM on my OP7T HD1907, Which I already unlocked the bootloader and installed a international ROM. That was fairly straight-forward to me.
I downloaded the ROM files, but they aren't any extensions I am used to. I haven't rooted or installed a custom ROM since 2011-2012 ish. (HTC Desire 4G) which was easier it seemed, Used TWRP I think.
Could someone please help?
Please delete. Figured it out.
Well then share with other people how'd you do it? I want to install the latest xtended ROM on my OP7T. Can't find a guide. Help me out can you?
