I have tried many versions but the best working was this. I use the following settings. Pics are decent considering that I am a photographer, I find the pics decent enough from a phone.

Facing heating issue after android 10

Just got it yesterday in Germany, everything seems to work fine, even the camera (Gcam 6.2). But as far I can remember, the Update information too says something about octobre Security Patch. After Installation I'm still on September patch. Anybody with different experiance?

Hello,

No I didn't find any till now.. Who is exclusively working on 8.1

Mine hasn't received the update yet. Any way to force it?

Me neither. Just wait!

Found this for manuel install, but I'm not going to try:
How to update Nokia 8.1 to Android 10:
Download the OTA update zip file.
Rename the file by adding “-update” at the end of the file name. For example: PNX-415B-0-00WW-B03-update.zip
Transfer the OTA zip to phone storage in root folder. Meaning, not inside any folder.
Open phone pp or dialer app and dial *#*#874#*#* to update.
Confirm the update to install when prompted.
Choose install now option.
Wait for the update to finish and restart when prompted.
Download is at:
https://android.googleapis.com/pack.../723fa1d6e0b94c8d4c57ceeae42089fecdea9974.zip
Phoenix Sprout is European model !!!
Don't know if this is final version.

I don't know, I'm looking for answers before I flash
No, you probably can't, because it is another Elephone model, that will come out with Android 7.0 installed.
Read here for more information:
https://www.voondo.de/elephone-p9000e-in-hong-kong-gesichtet-86850.html
It's in German, but that article (from October 2016) says there is yet another P9000 to come out, the P9000e.
So, you probably can't flash that rom onto an Elephone P9000. You could be so lucky as it to work, but that's a gamble I'm not willing to take yet...
Maybe this could be ported to the P9000. It looks like the only difference is the soc.

I was wondering that myself as well, it certainly looks like there are only "little" differences between the two devices. But looks can be deceiving...
I've read somewhere on XDA that one of the probable reasons our "old" P9000 still has no stock 7.0 rom, could be problems getting the printscanner to work in 7.0.
The P9000e probably has another built-in printscanner that is already 7.0 compatible, so that might be a problem when porting it.
Let's hope one of the devs is willing to look at porting it, as it would be awesome to get this new 7.0 rom working on the P9000!!!
But hey, maybe someone will be so adventurous and willing to try flashing this rom on his or her P9000, and share the results? Fingers crossed :victory:
Found this in a comment on needrom.

It seems someone has installed this on P9000 and it works fine http://bbs.elephone.hk/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=13262&page=2&extra=#pid132695
i tryed to flash but is says " PMT changed for the rom, it must be downloaded" ??
edit first full format than you can flash it works!!

Nah, don't expect that.
They might send security updates in 6/8 months (bt chances are like 8%)
And for Android updates not sure, They have already shifted their attention to Honor view 10.
But Project Treble is surely help developers to come up with more custom roms

[ROM][8.0.0] MIUI 9 GLOBAL Beta Rom 8.2.1 based on Oreo [scorpio][02.03.2018]

This is a beta rom so as the name implies you may encounter various problems/bugs.
Fastboot (unlocked bootloader)(erases all your internal storage):
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.3.1/scor....1_20180301.0000.00_8.0_global_7127f41234.tgz
Recovery (TWRP and unlocked bootloader)(full wipe highly recommended):
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.3.1/miui_MINote2Global_8.3.1_74f30a299a_8.0.zip
The update has been suspended at the moment but download links are still working... Anyway you flash the packages at your own risk, I don't assume any responsibilities for any bricked or exploded devices! This is only for sharing purposes!
Thank I very much for sharing

Well if you like risking a hard brick you can download that file, rename it update.zip and put it in the folder downloaded_rom. Then go to the miui updater app and it should see it as an update and the installation will start. The problem is that if you are on locked bootloader without TWRP and the flash goes wrong you can throw away your phone...

No risk, no fun... I used the option in the updater and it doesn't allow me to install it. Probably because I need special privileges... In any case, these are excellent news for custom ROMs
Edit: previous to the installation of the .ZIP it asks me to be connected to the internet... It can't be connected without being connected to the internet. So definitely they check if the user is allowed to install it.
Anyways. Anyone using the ROM can give some feedback, please?
Installed by twrp and running perfect ... for now no failure
routed with magisk 16.0
So installed last TWRP, wiped all data and storage for decryption, all went ok, inastalled oreo beta rom and magisc 16, during booting phone first get encrypted again and then rom boots up. Restarting back to TWRP is asking for password again to decrypt phone. So because of that I get back to nougat and TWRP 3.1.1.0 because that is only one that is not asking password. So please help and inlight me what I was doing wrong.

You have to be in the Beta Team to install those packages with the updater app. The method the Super Moderator recommended me is fastboot because it's an android version update. The ROM worked fine in the first day , no important bug that can prevent it to be a daily driver.

Yep! Same old, same old1 Unfortunately this kind of behavior is not uncommon for Xiaomi! Why they need this is beyond me! Let me just say that for such a big company this is disappointing and definitely not something what give us confidence to buy their phones and other products in the future. I mean, what's the point?! You buy something and then you hope that they give you fair amount of updates on regular base?! Just around corner but never there! C'mon Xiaomi!!!
Anyone facing Battey and Performance issue ? How is battery life ? What all camera issues are there apart from Focus issue ?

Did it work? As you mentioned your build number is different from that on the download link, did it update without any problem? My build number is also same 00CN_1_24F. Now I'm a bit confused whether I should update with this OTA file or not

I got it and I've uploaded to Google Drive:
Download here.
All working great, found just a couple of small issues, when watching a video in Landscape (youtube for example), if I pull down the notifications, the icons are aligned to one side and notifications are aligned to the centre of the screen and also if I pull the multi task view, the thumbnail for the app preview looks like a flat bar that's it really, everything else looks fine and stable.
Thanks a lot,
N one more question, newbe here, what do u mean by side load?
n also, does it matter what build I'm currently on?
Installing from recovery or sth?
How do i do that????*

You need to boot into recovery, the way I did that was by using the "adb reboot recovery" command, to do this you need to first enable developer options, then connect the cable from the pc to the phone and type that command, once in recovery, you should see android lying down with an exclamation mark, press volume up + power, or volume down + power, can't remember which one, basically you want to see a bunch of options on the screen, once you see them, using the volume keys to navigate through the options and power button to select the option, select the sideload option and type "adb sideload <nameOfFile.zip>" it will take a few minutes to finish, just let it run...
I'm assuming you know the basics for using adb some youtube videos will tell you more if you needed.
