Hi
Long story short, I purchased this phone privately from a random person on internet. Used it for about 2 weeks than 2 days ago phone got locked remotely by a rental company ( Using MDM/Knox). I called the rental company and found out the seller illegally sold a rental phone to me. Anyways i went on removing that lock by rooting the phone and followed instructions on this XDA forum to instal TWRP beta. First step of flashing VBMETA went well and than i flashed TWRP using odin and after a blue screen pops up showing Security Error: this phone has been flashed with unauthorised software ................ Odin not allowing me to flash official stock firmware on it . All error screenshots are attached. I can still get into download mode but not in recovery.
PLEASE help.

Its not stolen. Not imei locked. The seller and company contract dismissed and than he sold the phone to me. Anyways thank you for your help
Install the latest software update if the software you are using is a lower version that the phone will not accept

it says Prenormal , install stock firmware for Australia and boot it , then follow this tuto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM6juPO_vQg
now connect phone to pc with cable , n boot it to download mode by holding volume up n down , flash a blank vbmeta in odin then twrp , you are good to go and wont see that message again

I have your same problem, how did you solve this issue? can you perhaps share the step breakdown? I would greatly appreciate it, since I'm facing the same issue. I also bought a phone from the internet and the guy had taken it leased from somewhere else.

Hi,
I was researching through XDA, and this solution is the one that best seems to suit my problem. I can't install any firmware because I get the message : MDM Mode: Can't download (PIT)". in your recommendation you are saying to install Australia firmware. How can I get past MDM issue? with Odin? my bootloader is locked, and I cant access the main menu to enable developer mode and toggle the OEM unlock feature. is there a way this can be done through ADB or some alternative? thanks in advance for your help!

You have to flash this odin http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...hmallow-6-0-odin-files-n910pvpu4dpc1-t3343609 the one you were flashing is a way older version and its 5.1.1 not 6.0.

Okay, if your still on complete stock go to recovery and factory reset, this shall correct any issues.

After Finsh ...it ask for 10 seconds and then restart the same process of Hands free activation

Why did you install SM-N910F Modem with a Sprint SM-910P tar file? Just curious, not sure if you can flash an international baseband with a US carrier, I could be wrong tho ?

GUYS , i wanted to root using Magisk and install PIXEL EXPERIENCE (both are different objectives) on my device which is currently running on WW_100.10.107.36_20200110 which is Android Q .
I downloaded the above firmware from ASUS's official site .
To do all this i have to unlock the boot-loader and to unlock the boot-loader , i tried unlocking through adb ,
fast-boot which did not work and through its ****ty unlock tool which is also up to date as it's downloaded from ASUS's official site . It nearly messed me for more than 2 hours and i am frustrated and tired right now, i was about to throw my phone outside .
Whenever I click on "PRESS TO UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE" ,it returns an error " An unknown error occurs,which may be a network connection issue.please wait and try again later[104] ".
I literally ran errands thinking it's an internet issue getting outside changing locations all that even i went to my friend's house ,connected in his Fiber Optic connection WIFI but to no avail. He has arround 100 MBps connection . I went to another friend's house but same situation. So i was completely sure it has nothing to do with Network.
Even i called ASUS's consumer care multiple times and they just verified my address and details and told me to wait and later they hung up on me. I am feeling ASUS is the worst brand in terms of customer service right now in India. Kindly help me please !:crying::crying:

After upgrading to Q, you need to run it once (return to factory settings) to unlock normally

Recently I installed a FACTORY COMBINATION ROM to fix some problems in my Note 10+, the phone keep restarting before I see the Samsung Logo, if I enter the recovery, the phone will start to erase data automaticly but end with error, please check the photo:

If I install a stock ROM the phone will work normaly, with factory COMBINATION binary I can't play with boot or recovery to install TWRP for example, the phone will restart to the download mode.
Any idea to help me please?

im curious on how u think u installed combo? did u buy a factory token? use the bypass method? it doesnt look like a combo boot.. the splash screen is different on combo

Hello dear,
I bought a cheap solution based on killing the phone, then flash 4 factory files (bl1, bl2 ...etc) using Multidownloader Tool, then installed the complete factory ROM, but as you can see, till now I am not able to make it work.
About the Etoken, where I can buy it? I heared about it but could't find any thing on G.

I am not sure but I think I have the wrong Factory binary, I download it as for N975F with U2 security, I think its seams for N976 with U2, the code TB1 I think for N976, I will wait for other N975F U2 ROM.

yea.. i kno wat u used.. exynos usb recovery mode/method.. basically brick phone then use multidownloader to flash the repair files which then goes to dl mode where u can flash combo without token.
i think i got same files but i dont own a n975f.. i got them to research mainly.
and yes, if u r flashing wrong combo u will have problems lol

Hi, just i had an experience with the realme 8g bootloader, I unlocked it by using fastboot and installed magisk with some mods, but I didn't like it so i wanna get back stock, so I reinstalled stock and stock recovery back, and also locking the bootloader again but ended with phone boot/recovery omg destroyed so I searched I way to recover the phone, I found out that I can use mtkclient to do that, using broom mode and unlocking the bootloader but came with consequences. They will be dm-verify on boot that's meaning that will have to press the power button in 5 seconds, and can't boot to custom recovery.
If someone has any idea? Please reply!

Please reply soon as I did something wrong after unlocking bootloader on my realme 8 5G too and now I need to flash stock ROM. I got it to BROM mode (using that payload trick), but still got errors like STATUS_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL in SPFT.

I got it fixed, also running android 12, it was challenging with broom mode but in the end I fixed it. The most errors I got when using broom mode was that payload things, or SP flash version didn't supported my processor.
Try to follow this guide.

All other tools except MTK Auth Bypass 6.0.0.1 aren't working, and even this just bypasses my phone and then SP Foash shows error STATUS_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD FAIL....

My Redmi 5A got softbricked and I'm not sure why since I wasn't (and never have) using it for rooting/installing new ROM/etc., I was using it for normal usage. (Didn't install anything that might cause the phone to just shutdown like that too)
Currently, my Redmi only shows:
-The system has been destroyed screen
-Fastboot mode
-Recovery mode
Methods I've tried:
-Mi Assistant/Mi PC Suite, which is useless because my phone cannot connect to it because the USB debugging is not turned on and I have no way of turning it on. Which made my phone unable to be recognized by the assistant, but it is recognizable by my laptop. (for extra info)
-ADB & Fastboot, which is also fruitless as of this far because after running the flash_all.bat, it says that my device is locked and cannot be erased. (exta info: I downloaded the EU-fastboot version)
-Factory reset and reboot.
I'm really not familiar with this situation, but as far as I've learned in the internet, that means my Redmi's bootloader is locked (?)
I do have the option to go to Xiaomi's service center, but I just want to know if this is fixable at home.

I know you are not comfortable giving remote access.
I will make a tutorial on Monday to flash the device without authorisation.
