Not yet. But should be there within 5-6 days.
It will have following features
1) Proper Portrait mode without zoomed up pictures. ( In beta 28.4.18, We can change with a toggle in the viewfinder. )
2) Oreo 8.1 with April patches.
3) Full screen gestures.
4) Better RAM management and battery life ( Thanks to Oreo)
If I missed anything, I'll add. Early may is the expected time frame for stable OTA. Most probably will be 9.5.8 or 9.5.12.

Android 11

Does this mean we will get Android 11 soon, as the Mate 20X is on the list?
Lmao! Considering how alot of folks myself included are still on 10.0 i wouldn't hold my breath
Sent from my EVR-L29 using Tapatalk
Ha ha. Yeah, this is just the beta rollout. The official release for the L29 is most likely far, far away, if we even get it. I doubt we'll see it at all though.
yes beta for china devices are starting soon. if you have chinese devices and can manage chinese huawei account. you can get beta.
For others it may take 2-3 more months

"I doubt we'll see it at all though"...agree with that..i have the chinese ver with a china account and still on 10.1.0 .165 with August security update... its November and they don't just give us a security update not a full android ver.
Yes chinese version will get earlier. AL00
I Have already signed up for beta. Like for Emui 10.1 too i did signed up before public release.
Most everyone here is still on 10.1 with fewer complaints than previous versions. Android 11 is nice to have but its not needed..10.1 runs perfectly.
Wondering if EMUI 11 will wipe out Google on out Mate 20x? Sure hope there a big warning before taking the update. Hope to hear from beta testers.

I participated the beta internal test but didn't qualify. But I can update it now from setting since they said even if you fail to qualify, will still send out Ota update later.
It's pretty cool with some new aod clock styles and multitasking floating window function.

General Exclusive : This is our first look at Android 13 “Tiramisu” and some of its upcoming features

Runtime Permission for Notifications
TARE: The Android Resource Economy
Lock Screen Clock Layout !
Lock Screen Clock LayoutsWith Android 13, a new setting has been added in lock screen settings to toggle the layout of the clock on the lock screen.
In Android 12 currently, the lock screen clock is displayed in the double line layout that you see in the first screenshot above, but only when there are no notifications. When notifications arrive, the layout switches to a single line layout, and reverts back when notifications are cleared. The new setting allows users to retain the single-line layout persistently, something that users had been requesting for a while.
We’ve also seen evidence that this feature is being added to Android 12L, so you may be able to use this pretty soon.
These are all the new features on Android 13 that we have access to. There’s bound to be more features and changes coming, especially once the update officially releases. Until then, this is your first look at Android 13.

I believe the standard schedule every year is the developer preview versions - you can either sign up for the beta program to get, or possibly also flash full firmware if they make them available - start releasing maybe March, April, or May of each year, then they usually have four developer previews - generally monthly, then a few beta versions, and then the "final" release of the new Android version in October, usually coinciding or nearly coinciding with the release of their new Pixels.
(it's been almost three years since I got to test developer previews of Android, etc, since I used my Pixel 1 from 2016 through a few months after it stopped receiving any updates - which was December 2019)
Finally able to edit clocks on the lockscreen!

In the meantime, you can use this app for that if you're not using anything else. It just turned into a payed app but you can subscribe for less than $1/yr after a free trial period.

Based on the size of things, and the centred icon row at the bottom, I think this might be what some are referring to as Android 12L designed for tablets, instead of actual Android 13.
I love the large clock, hope that stays large with the option and not small like in the SS
the large clock is the worst thing they brought with android 12 and pixel 6/pro i cant wait to see the feature to make it small show up.... the large clock ruins the photos or backgrounds you put on your phone and for some people is really hard to read and understand .

It's just a matter of preference. To me (and some others), it's more natural to read time in one line, not have to see huge hours numbers, then move our eyes down to see the huge minutes numbers. If you like it, that's fine, just a lot of folks including myself don't like it.

General OOS 13 Sounds Promising

Starting with software, OnePlus has confirmed that OxygenOS 13 will be closer to stock Android. This decision was based on the feedback to OxygenOS 12 launched last year, which was roundly criticized for its decision to essentially become a clone of Oppo's ColorOS.
Click to collapse
According to OnePlus, OxygenOS and ColorOS will still share codebase but will remain distinct properties with a user experience close to what their individual user bases expect. For OxygenOS, this means going back to the clean and simple stock Android appearance. OxygenOS 13 will be releasing later this year with Android 13.

OnePlus: OxygenOS 13 will be closer to stock UI, OnePlus 10 Pro launching end of March globally
Will also be expanding to other markets like Mexico, Canada, North Africa, and Middle East. OnePlus today had a bevy of announcements for Mobile World...

Definitely agreeing on that. The complain was so massive that it seems they have taken a step back at the "merging everything" OS.
They may have also ran into troubles mixing both OS (the first A12 updates were so bad...) and understand that sharing functions will be easier than completely merging the two systems.
I'll be happy if they fix the missing LTE/LTE+ icon in the status bar for the United States, bring back 1080p60fps for the front camera, disable auto do not disturb in a moving car, make OnePlus Sans the font throughout the entire UI, and bring a Theme store as good as the Samsung one.

and now we are all back here at XDA trying to find the best custom rom.
Well, fingers crossed, but I'll probably be on a custom ROM by then.
i'd like to see them get OOS12 working before i get excited about this. i'm really not thinking about a OP10P at all.

If only it was OnePlus' fault, but the facts are that Android 12 itself hasn't been up to the mark.
Edit: even if, clearly, the merging of the two OS are also in play in the OOS12 mess.

I have those icons and the DND while driving can be disabled in Android Auto. For fonts, why not use Font Manager? The font I'm using is consistent throughout the system.
I would not believe anything OnePlus says. Oxygen 12 is a disaster and they are hoping by promising a better OS in 13 people will buy their new phone coming out this month or next. Remember Oxygen OS 13 is not until the Fall

Yea I recently learned that apparently (I haven't checked) in the C.44 update, LTE/LTE+ is back.
I only have Android Auto in 1 of my 2 cars, and I rarely use it because it's wired and not wireless, it's always charging my phone, I don't want that, it charges slowly but my phone gets extremely warm.
If I ever update to Oxygen OS 12, I will look into Font Manager, thanks for the tip!

It was slightly laggy at first, but I think my phone just needed a bit of time to get used to it. The settings menu has been slightly polished up, settings menu looks very similar to emui 12.
There is a new assistant called yoyo, not sure if this is just a rebranded Huawei celia.
The UI is exactly like magic UI/EMUI, so no change there so far.
Since this is the first beta there are no major UI changes, possibly in the following betas to come.
I did notice when trying new things and current things like using the software update checker that it gets stuck on loading for about 10 seconds until it checks for updates.
It's based on android 13 with January 2023 security patch.
A bit disappointed as I thought since Huawei sold honor they would come up with a UI of their own at this point but its still pretty much Huawei's EMUI.

Just wanted to add that call recording does work, but if you plan on using Google Wallet to pay, that doesn't work. It says the device is rooted or unsupported.
So if you to plan on using it don't update to v7 just yet, I will keep you all updated as updates push through.
