THREAD CLOSED!
XDA does not allow any kind of IMEI editing incl. discussions or tutorial about it. Even if this thread is not a tutorial it seems that the request will be used for a type of IMEI editing.
The only exceptions to this policy are discussions and tutorials about restoring original IMEI/EFS that's not considered editing/changing and spoofing/masking of IMEI on software level.
But as a general rule: NEVER ever give your IMEI to anybody - never ever!

Please help me. I can't unbrick.

Hello.
I have been tried all day and couldn't solve it.
I have researched a lot and read all the critical articles on this board and
other foreign site.
I rooted my phone, install CWM for custom rom, install custom rom,
delete GO Launcher EX and being brick.
I know how to do factory restore, to go Download mode, how to use
UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe file and I know what kdz files are.
I fully understand this article
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1412367
and many other article from google and foreign site.
I tried to do that marwin.exe method.
I have v10i, v10f, v10k but they are first not working because
it keep saying that I have newest firmware so dont need to upgrade.
I found a comment on the above article and it is about fixing HOSTS file in windows directory.
It seems preventing from checking firm-version in LG site.
Anyway, v10k did not work but v10i, v10f works.
Process is stopped at 4% and it counts 1 to 100 and zero.
Phone rebooted around count 80-90.
But the problem is, it rebooted and stopped.
There is process bar under "LG OPTIMUS LTE" on booting screen,
it first moved a little but stopped soon.
I did factory restore a lot, reinstall and etc..
Please help me out!!
I am the writer.
I solved it. You have to choose "CDMA' not 3g. on the program.
Thanks! So happy !
3GQCT worked fine for me.

Sorry, but it should not...User's choice
My comment was nearly for these who post references to page numbers, so it should read as: "...on page 29, unless one changed number of pages per post". Other words, refer to page number could be as useful as "RTFM" or "search the forum" replies .

DB files for SN write tool

Have flashed RC 5 onto my Jiayu s3. All seems to be good.
But want to write my IEMI numbers into the phone. My problem is when using SN write tool it asks for MD1_DB and AP_DB files. Apprently they are with my phones firmware. I can't find on my computer or the internet.
Can anyone cast some light on this please.

Ken, each time people explain how to manipulate IMEI some moderator kicks in and closes thread. Once it was argued such is illegal. Of course the law differs from country to country.
Perhaps you were lucky to have a typo so the moderator tools did not spot your request.
Maybe it is not forbidden to PM you instructions. I will do so now and others may do same.

Null IMEI Fix?

My Gemini PDA is suffering from missing IMEIs, due in no doubt to an issue while I was trying to update my device. At present, I have a pure Android installation, which appears to be operating 100% fine (including WiFi). The only issue is that there are two missing IMEIs, so no telephony.
I sadly do not have a backup of NVRAM, so I am presently dead in the water. I have looked at several MTK IMEI writers, but I cannot get anything to work. Much of the software to manipulate MTK-based devices appears woefully out of date.
Can anyone help? I thank you in advance.

Great news -- I reached out to Planet's support team, and after providing them with a scan of my label (to provide the IMEIs), bluetooth and MAC addresses, they produced an NVRAM file along with detailed flashing instructions.
Kudos to Planet for great support. I have never received this kind of assistance from any other OEM. Needless to say, I immediately signed up at Indiegogo for the Cosmo as a way of saying thanks.

Sorry but I can't find any contact form or email. Could you show me the exact way to contact them?
Or help me with sharing download instructions and NVRAM backup?

I contacted support via email to [email protected].
Note that the NVRAM partition is unique to a specific phone, since it includes your IMEI as well as other unique information. I did not try to dissect the file to see how hard it might be to adapt it to another device.
The method on this XDA Thread works fine for me.
I confirmed my Gemini 4G shows my IMEI on Setting->System->About Phone->Status->IMEI Information->IMEI (Slot 1)
[GUIDE] Restore IMEI number after an NVRAM clear
This thread will go over restoring the IMEI number if you cleared the NVRAM (or fully formatted your phone). The official tool to use is the SN Writer tool from Mediatek but as the P60 processor is not compatible with that, I had to search for...

Question [CLOSED] OnePlus 11 outgoing incoming not working

Hello everyone,
Hope everything is fine with everyone except my phone. Yesterday, I don't know exactly how, buy my phone stopped receiving or making calls my both SIM network signals are showing, SMS working, Data working but calls are not.
I searched on internet done everything it possibly suggested but still no solution, can you please help me?
Solutions I used:
Reset Network settings, removed phone and related apps caches
One solution didn't work on my phone: change the network coverage from LTE to lower like 2g,3g... Phone code isn't working... I didn't find those settings from my phone settings.
(Edit: I forget to mention my phone is Chinese, I've read in this forum that Chinese phones stop working after 2 weeks and I've passed two weeks after buying and verifying with my govt. I paid tax more than half of the value of my phone to my govt to unblock me imei # .. I think I can't install any other custom ROM to make this phone work because my IMEI # would be changed and I've to register those again with my govt)
Regards,
The only solution so far has been to take/send the phone to an official Oppo/OnePlus service center to unlock it.

What if I install another custom ROM or official global ROM? Would this change my IMEI #?
If so is there any way I can keep my same IMEI # registered with my govt and upgrade to another ROM?

Flashing non-native ROMs is extremely risky and may results in a bricked device and yes, lost, IMEIs.
