Both of those are from the the Sony Xperia Arc and maybe a few other 2011 Sony Ericsson devices. Unless you run across someone here that's a developer and has moved over to the GN from SE, you'll probally be better off asking in a form like the Xperia X10 that has had both xLoud and Bravia ported to it.
Even when the Bravia engine was ported to the Xperia X10, it only worked for viewing pictures in the stock gallery app and xLoud, even though it increased the external speaker volume, was the cause of many blown external speakers.

These install and flash fine when using pimpmyrom
I'm pretty sure the Bravia Engine 2 from Sony actually requires hardware to go along with it.
Simply porting the software to another device will do nothing.
OMEGA ROM 3.1 reinstalled, only wipes cache and dalvik cache and the problem solved, no data lost or configuration...

Hi im a big fan of ur work since im using my i8150 but now i have my i9500 s4 can u port ur work and walkman to i9500 variant please ? i think it should go well because of the wolfon chipset .. but im not sure though im noob..

But you can't port the BE from what I know... It might show in settings etc... But it is hardware.. Not software.. And it does not even work on unlocked Sony phones... If this is not the case then let me know as I have used Sony for years and all the devs there say this.

hmmm ... i think BE 2 it's only software ... and when I ported BE 2 to Xperia 2011 which has BE 1 and work perfectly
and yes BE 2 will lost if Unlock Bootloader, but on Xperia 2011 using unlock bootloader via test point, BE 2 still work
if you want available in settings, you need to edit framework.jar, android.policy.jar, swiqisetingservice.apk & settings.apk
BE 2 work and will be visible if you use ALBUM & MOVIES APP from SONY

Oh, we don't have Album & Movies or any Sony apps on GS4, so BE2 won't work?
I'm really curious to try it, but not until it works...
Did you think of splitting BE2 and audio mods into 2? So one could choose whether wants to try just one of those mods?
Btw, I had Bravia engine thanks to marvelous Baadnewz on my One X, so there should be no problems expecting it anytime soon on yous S4s...

i have sony xperia sl stock ics rooted and locked bootloader..... i want to ask a simple question that when i enable or disable bravia engine i dont see any difference in images and / or watching movies i mean screen result is same....
i once had xperia neo and in that phone i really enjoy the crisp bravia engine result...but i dont know why i cant see any difference in my xperia Sl....so is there a way to check that bravia engine is really active and working in phone??

It's not a real mod yet. I just modify Sony restrictions and added 1 lib. Then I delete 13mp front cam values ( causes front cam fc) and changed some other little things.
If you don't use a Z5, i would recommend Cyberian Mod for example. This is a real mod. Well, except 2.4 for z5 series. He unlocked cam too, but front cam fc...
First I will fix all problems. Then with a base I start to create the 'real' mod....
BUT everyone can feel free to port this to other devices. Or if you have a z3 for example, make a backup and start. Didn't work? Write details here and we will try to fix it.

Okay the a lot I'll try do some testing tomorrow but will have to restore my MM backup then I'll report back
I think Auto Mode, M Mode and video recording all working fine, but it will take longer time to save photo then original Camera app.
After I press the shutter button, preview icon on the upper right corner shows photo is still processing, but sometime it won't show the photo I just took few seconds ago, and then I exit Camera app, went to Photo app, waiting for couple seconds... probably 10 to 20 seconds, then those photos just start showing up.

Yeah,new camera take long time to save pictures. It's took about 2 seconds and when i click to preview pic then double click to zoom but the pic didn't zoom in, i had to double click again then the pic zoom in

No fc and unlocked manual iso and scn
The difference between this mod and cyberiyan is the auto scn in manual
For the quality
This mod is better in zooming in low light got better detail.
In good light and day light same quality and same picture taked by both.
Nice job
For who say that it takes long to save pictures it is normal to the app read your system. Try after 5-10 min when taking first pic takes less tham 1sec , it is normal.

The cyberiyan mod can't change ev or wb in 8MP or 23MP scn mode too bcoz that's the job of scene mode.
I found the XZ and XC apk different largely in size, the XZ got 12.1MB and XC only 11.3MB. I think the XC system dump is a bit dated and the XZ apk is more updated and should provider more better quality on Z5c but the front camera may not work without fix.

I've checked them and found no different. The 16MB one is large bcoz that zip doesn't compress files at all(just used store mode without compression).
If you want better quality and don't care face camera FC issue, flash the XZ mod that cam apk should be even more updated than XC.
Ok, the different you will see if you take a look inside the apk. XZ Camera you will find files for bigger screens. Sony called them XX... XC Camera have only X...
Before I get both apks, xc cam needs to work on z5/z5c/p.
That's all. front cam is fixed on both versions. If you have a z5c please use xc (more stable, quality is excellent as xz camera).
