The problem is the ROM, because for me works fine on Lineage OS 15.1.
i am on lineage 16.
Edit: Thanks anyway?? . I only need working front camera which was previously not working on google camera mod.

so it only works on lineage for moto g5 cedric? i just installed the app for moto g5s montana with pixelexpierenceos 9 and it's working fine. tried the g5 cedric version with pixelexpierenceos 9 on my wife's phone and got camera errors straight away. it's unusable. are you saying it only works on lineage for moto g5 cedric?

Guys, the problem are the ROM, because some ROMs with Android 9 still do not support Moto Camera.
Claims for permissions
On my cedric with los17 arm64 it keeps claiming for permissions upon start. How can i rollback?

Same issue on Lineage 17. The "permission fix" only allowed to launch the app but is still broken. As it as been in 4 different ROM's I have tried it.

Is there a way to uninstall this having flashed the zip? Since it does not work AND it replaced the stock cam app which DOES WORK.
Also "the fix" completely resseted the permissions for ALL APPs phone-wide.
Doesn't work on LineageOS 17.1 (permission problems).

Everytime I try to set Security lock of any kind ( Pattern, password, pin), the system hangs after that. After a reboot the screen is locked and when I punch in the password/pattern i just set before, it hangs again.
Its repetitive.
Any help ?

Latest build is running almost flawlessly, the only problems are when opening the drawer and the recents menu, where it lags and drops frames... Perhaps it's only a matter of optimization on the kernel site, maybe increasing the GPU throttle a little...
EDIT: Didn't test lock screen though...

I can confirm this, some framedrops and microlags but not more than on some 7.1.2 roms. Built-in Footej camera works flawlessly, I also flashed Moto Z camera which works but fc´s after every shot. Rooted with magisk 15.3 without problems, just the magisk manager had to be extracted and installed as apk and fc sometimes, same with greenify and recorder app. Substratum with swift black theme plays nice with the built-in color engine.
Haven´t faced any bugs until now but I can´t find the statusbar customizations, also power menu customization and One-handed mode. Maybe I have to look deeper?
Can´t say anything about battery as I installed this rom just yesterday.

Installation
1. Boot into TWRP recovery
2. Wipe Data, Cache & Dalvik
3. Flash the ROM.
4. Reboot.
It has a little bug with battery drain, but you can solve it by doing this:
1.- Enable developer settings by pressing Miui version.
2.- Go to Additional settings>Developer options.
3.- Disable MIUI optimization at the bottom, reboot and re-enable it and reboot.
With this trick you will have a lot better battery life.

Thanks, just tested the BT and it works great in my car. I tried to do the MIUI Optimalization trick but the option does not seem available in the additional settings. Have you guys been able to find it? Seems like there are no developer options at all.

First day usage results
So after my first day of use, here a small report of my findings:
- Bluetooth is working perfect, maybe even better than the ROM the Geekbuying Z17 version shipped with
- The speed of the phone is insane on this ROM, all animations are super smooth. As addition to that, the AnTuTu score of my device went up from 160.000 to 210.000. Thats an absolutely insane improvement. Guess the other ROM was full of bloat ware
- The touch screen is a little too sensitive on the edges on this ROM. Often I find myself accidentally activate apps or buttons. The most practical fix is to hold the phone in a different way. But maybe a setting for this available or a flashable zip?
- Most apps i install complain about wanting rights for NFC, my guess this is related to the NFC being bugged at this time. Still would be nice if we can somehow suppress this rights request.
- I have not find any clues of this ROM draining the battery. I lost only 2% after a complete night of sleep.
So overall I can say I'm amazed by your work Arceoxis! Still a few small things to fix, but for day to day use I think this ROM can be the game changer.

Google Apps are included. You can Flash the BT patch after rom flash.

i install the New Version Today,and have Problems. After Reboot i got info that the Process com.android.phone or com.android.acore
was stopped (i translate from german,maybee little diffrent).All 1-3s i got new message if klick on it

Note: there may be multiple Google Play system updates since October 2020, and your phone may need multiple reboots to install them. You may see a "try again" after you press the reboot button for the second time, and that is because Google Play stops reboot caused by system update if the previous reboot was within 15 minutes. It was intended to prevent infinite reboot during a bootloop (and yes it is stupid in this case). Just reboot manually and the update will install fine.

Faceunlock will only be available on the plus edition, and the plus edition is not out yet.

Backup your persist partition before flashing OSS ROM
Pre-requisites:
Unlocked Bootloader : https://en.miui.com/unlock/
Pc Windows/Linux/Mac
Flash method:
1. Unzip the PE Zip
2. Hold Power and Volume down to reboot
into bootloader mode
3. Execute Install&Format.bat if you use
Windows, . Install\&Format.sh if you use
OS Linux Kernel Based or lunch by
terminal . Mac\&Install\&Format.sh if you
use Mac OS
4. Wait for the installation to finish, you
won't have to do anything more, it will
restart.
Install Updates:
1. Restart into bootloader mode
2. Execute Update.bat if you use Windows, Update.sh if you use OS linux kernel based or
Mac\&Update.sh if you use MacOS

Welcome my friend. Well no need to backup persist before unlocking bl. I mean it's not possible. Altho You can back it by twrp. Then follow my installation method.

I don't think there are any differences but I just wanted to be sure before flashing this weekend when my 168 hour wait time gets over!

As for testing earlier, CTS won't pass yet. Dev will look into it. Even with magisk props it still won't pass.

The only thing that keeps me away from buying this device is its camera performance on MIUI (As per the reviews). So, is it any better in this custom ROM?? Some samples with comparison will be very much appreciated.

F3 isn't obviously a cameraphone.
But IMHO camera performance isn't that bad, especially when photos are taken in good light environments.
For now the stock camera app is the first and best choice, because it's device-optimized.
But I think that sooner or later we'll have a good XML for the Gcam.

Estoy probando esta rom de android 13 en un redmi note 8T, y hasta ahora funciona todo bastante bien y es muy rapida.
Lo que no funciona son los ajustes de crdroid.
Solo lo digo, no por quejarme sino para que el constructor de esta estupenda rom lo tenga en cuenta para futuras versiones.
llevo tiempo usando las diferentes versiones de Crdroid y estoy encantado con ellas.
Seguid asi.

I just tried to update, but had to clean flash, because of said encryption. Or if anyone has reliable recovery I'd be happy to use it.

Everything works and everything is amazing. Battery management is genius. I never thought Android could be this good.
