Hi Guys
I was wondering if someone could try to port stock cam app from Huawei p30 series or mate 30 or even from 20 p/mate .
Reason ?- well i had p30 for a while, and i just really liked pre set "light painting" options and in generał whole interface of Huawei cam app.
What you think ?

Can anyone port the stock MIUI camera with dual camera support and potrait mode for the front camera. All the other apps I tried on my Redmi note 5 Pro running AOSP Extended are either unusable or really bad. So if anyone can port the stock camera app from MIUI it would be really great.

Once the Mi A2 Launches I will be porting it into a magisk module.
Since the A2 should use the same camera app the stock app that the RN5 uses, however the A2 will use stock android so the camera will not depend on miui functions/apps.

Thanks man really appreciate it. The MI A2 and A2 lite launched today and MI A2 lite has the same camera configuration as the Redmi Note 5 Pro (12mp+5mp) but it has a 5mp front camera

Yep just waiting on Xiaomi to post the stock rom files.

Tried also this port from A1 but gives me streched Pictures.
I am on Pixel Experience too, until now the preinstalled LineageOSCam works fine, but you will have best results with Google Camera Port from Arnova (try pixel2mod ver. 8.1). I am also looking forward to an upload from redmi note 5 pro stock camera, because i want to do a comparison between the camera apps. You can expect a working stock app at least when the A2 will be released.

I have tried this but it crashes saying can't connect to camera. Also as already mentioned it is an mi A1 port.
has anyone seen an app / modded app that has this mode that will work on the mi a2 lite?
this mode just came out on the latest app for the pixel 3 and older 2.
(you have to have camera2 api enabled in advance of course)

Very recently I got a Gcam port by Arnova that finally worked on my Honor 10(HDR+e & Night Sight), but as soon as I updated to EMUI 9, it never worked.
I am not truly impressed with Honor 10's camera(in challenging situations & low light), and that gcam mod did help.
But now, I'm back to square one.
Can anybody share a working gcam link on EMUI 9?

I found this one works on the P30 pro with working panorama/photo sphere. Slow motion doesn't work, but the rest does, I think.

The problem is that support for camera2 API on huawei p30 pro is limited. That's why gcam ports don't work or only partially.
GCam for P30 Pro is pointless when you can't use the other camera sensors.
The stock camera app is better than that old GCam version anyway
