I'm on Android oreo looking for updates and can't find them.
He says they are in the latest software version.

You probably need to do a full flash.

ZenFone 2 ZE500CL (5 inch): firmware update

I want to update my ZE500CL to the latest version, but I have some questions before doing so:
1. My phone is still in the earliest version (WW_12.16.4.3). Is it safe to download and upgrade directly to the latest version (WW_12.16.5.64) and skipping the previous two versions? (12.16.5.61 and 12.16.5.30)
2. If I update to the latest, did the new features and improvements from previous updates (that I skipped) will still be added/installed?
3. Is there any issues regarding to firmware updates? Because I heard that ASUS phones had problems after software updates, particularly that of ZenFone 5.
Any kinds of answer and help will be appreciated, thank you.
i would suggest doing update via ota one by one(sequentially)
by updating via ota u will be saving data & time too

Oxygen OS Version Discrepancy

I got my OP3 yesterday and out of the box it had an OTA available so I installed it. The OTA put me at 3.2.7, however, when I look on the OP3 website, it shows the latest official version is 3.2.6. Why the inconsistency between the website and whats on my phone?
The latest official version is 3.2.7
3.2.6 had 2 bugs that were resolved with the 3.2.7 hotfix, but yes, they haven't updated their website with the full rom zips. So be assured, you are on the correct latest version.

Honor 6X - US Version (BLN-L24) - Initial firmware

In the tradition of the firmware threads by @vsriram92 ... here is the full initial update zip.
Honor 6X (US version) model: BLN-L24C567
Firmware: BLN-L24C567B110
Updated Link 2017-09-09 MEGA-FULL-OTA
Rollback Package from Android 7.0 to 6.0: MEGA-ROLLBACK
You can also download both from Huawei at hihonor.com in their support area.
Thanks @adomol, repository updated with appropriate credit.
Is this the Android 7 update from the 6.0.1 ????
No, this is the stock Marshmallow firmware that shipped with the 6X.
Can this be used to downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow? Or will it brick? Just figured I'd ask before I try, I'm stuck in a bit of a jam right now, and no firmware I've tried will apply successfully (fails at 5%). So I figure that I might have better luck going back to the stock MM that the device came with.
Edit: It looks like the download link is invalid. Any mirrors?
Both links are not working now

Go to officail website http://www.hihonor.com/us/support/index.html
You need to install the rollback package before you install the 6.0 firmware if you are downgrading from 7.0

@AnonVendetta
Thanks guys, but I was able to go back to MM yesterday, with the help of private messages from @adomol. It involved using a small rollback package and a large full package. The rollback went fine. I may or may not upgrade back up to Nougat, got some prep work to do and things to test. I've only had this device for a few days so I don't know the ins and outs of upgrading/downgrading firmware on Huawei. I'm more familiar with Samsung and Odin.

It is good that you downgraded to MM.
You'll get used to honor devices pretty quickly.
All the best

firmware updates?

Hey everyone,
does Xiaomi push firmware updates in it's ROMs or only software updates? My bluetooth radio is quite weak, and I'm wondering if flashing official Chinese MIUI once will update some components in the phone, and then I'll go flash Lineage or something. Thanks for your input!
It's possible that they could, but nobody can say in advance.
They are now testing the android 7 update of the chinese ROM. My best guess that if they will do it, they will add it to this update with it's final release. According to their official forum you are looking to a small month of waiting. Please report back if it helped, because you did make me curious.

Question LE2123 ota A13 update

Hi
I know that we can manually download the stable A13 update and upgrade our phones
I understand that OnePlus are rolling out the OTA to those which took part in the open beta having priority
My question is, is it preferred to wait for the OTA and if so, will that OTA be a different version of the ones that can be downloaded?
What are you talking about?
You have the option to install the latest stable A13 versions.
Why wondering about OTA etc?
Thanks for your reply
Thinking back on the message, I was clearly overthinking it!
I'm on the latest A12 .c66 so from what I've read, it should be fine to upgrade to A13.
I was just wondering if there had been others waiting for the OTA to appear
I'll download and upgrade shortly
