I have also Nokia 8.1 and I missed the good audio facilities..... I want to install Dolby on my Nokia 8.1 now running in android 10 ...I want to install Dolby Atmos without root .we need only app for Nokia 8.1.please help xda .

Wondering does anyone know the file dependencies for system/bin/audioserver such as any lib*.so or hal files in Oreo 8.1. I'm trying to get axon 7s Dolby atmos to work on other ROMs aside from NOS.

i can get viper to work without issues on say liquid remix or aosip but every time installing the atmos, due to audioserver, it results in bootloop. atmos oreo only works on NOS and z-unleashed.

Hello guys,
I'm using the stock emui 8 rom on my honor 8 pro.
I have always intensively used viper for Android on my previous phones, and now I would like to have it in my honor 8 pro. I used to have resseruction remix as a custom ROM but it had too many bugs. Does anyone know how to get viper for Android working on a rooted stock ROM? Everytime I try installing the driver it says it was successfully but after each restart it asks again to install the driver. I have tried many things only APK install flashing v4a using twrp and using selinux changers and terminal commands but nothing seems to work.

You have rooted it right...use the magisk v4a module...

I tried that keeps asking me to install v4a audio drivers
Viper4Android (32bit) is not compatible with EMUI8 audio driver (64bit)

i have been using aosp extended nougat build since long because i had dolby atmos working on it. i tried to move to oreo roms many times but always failed due to its compatibility issues with dolby atmos.
yesterday i was able to get dolby atmos on aosp extended v5.8 oreo 8.1.0 SDK 27. it is working good so far.

For oreo working dolby Atmos can be findable in thread :laugh:

I got it to install but Dolby Atmos doesnt open it closes immediately itself.

Do anyone here got a dolby atmos working for our device running MIUI 12.5 Chinese Firmware?
I've been searching and reading from other Dolby Atmos thread but no luck.
