i am using an my HTC Desire an Android 4.1.2 Mod called [11-9][4.1.2][JB:CM10A] PARANOIDANDROID [2.54] & PACman [15.1][JB:CM+PA+AOKP:AiO] and like it very much.
There are at least some problems but thats not my intesion for this thread.
here my question: How can i configure phone settings like send/hide my number or set general settings. In Android 4.1.2 standard there is a menu at settings/call or callsettings but not at this mod.
Can somebody help me?
You can change your number by going into your dialer - settings - additional settings
I'm trying to add a VPN but the connection keeps timming out. Could it be a bug in JJ Hybrid ROM? I've got stock kernel. Is there an app I can download that would not realy on the system's VPN settings? I'd rather not have to flash a new ROM.
It been known that the auto 4G (LTE) toggle in Juicedender does not work correctly. When JD switch from 4G to the lower 3G/2G, it would get stuck in that state and would not switch back. I got it working, by luck, when I was tickering with my rom. Here the procedure to get it working. This was also posted in the JD web support as well.
Install JD, ultimate, and aosp helper into the /system/app folder. Use root explorer to change all three files' permission to rwxrwxrwx. Then reboot. It should be working when enable the 2/3/4G toggle feature. You should also see the 2/3/4G in the status menu to confirm that it is enable. Before I was only getting 2/3G. No permission error in the log either. T-mobile Galaxy Note 2 Rootbox rom.
Test the tweak with the following roms and found them to be working:
Cyanogenmod 10.1/10.2
Pacman
XenonHD
Rootbox

Where to get the AOSP Helper??
Sorry to revive a old topic, but I also wonder where do I get the AOSP helper? Despite I have a custom ROM that based on CM 10.2, it still tells me not compatible/available and I can't use it.

Same here, how can I install the AOSP helper?? I need it for enabling the APN method in Juice Defender Ultimate.
Currently when I try to enable it, I get lots of errors / exceptions on my Fairphone which is rooted.

Thanks for that. But sorry, your response came too late. I already uninstalled JD ultimate and am using a different, less confusing app.
I just flashed PA 4.5 on a Nexus 7 2013 LTE, and I was given the choice to change from the stock app switcher to a card style switcher. I said Yes, and it turns out, I'm not a fan of that look.
I understand there is no PA Settings in the current release.
Is there some other place to edit PA specific tweaks?
Just like the change log thread mentions, all 'on-the-spot-preferences' are reset in backup and reset in settings....

Hello, i tried 2 roms (AICP 12.1 and unoffical Lineage OS Latest) X icon disappear after open celluar data but dont appear 2G 3G H H+ icon. I dont have a idea for fix it someone can help me ?
