How to Upgrade LG G3 D85010d 4.4.2 to Marshmallow 6.0 - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

I just got and LG G3 from AT&T (i live in Argentina) Model: D85010d with Android KitKat 4.4.2
I just tried everything but nothing works.
It's possible to upgrade to 6.0?
I tried diferents threads in the comunity but nothing explains how to do it in my version "10d"
Sometimes LG UP just say "Device: Unknown"
LG Flash Tool 2014 just say "can not connect to the server"
LG Flash Tool V1.8.1.1023 just say "Failed PreviousLoad()"
Any help with this? :crying:

The update must be a minor security patch, which does not change the software version at all. How big was the file? If it's less than 200MB, then it's just a small patch.
I have the same problem. I have the same model and it's rooted. I've tried to update my phone via PC suite for a couple of times. Even if you just updated the phone via the PC suite or ota, it will still notify you that there is an available update which is exactly the same version if you check with pc suite. I guess it is a bug. Just ignore it.

Exact same scenario here. Version V10K-SEA-XX, downloads the update which is over 1 GB, applies it, phone restarts, same Android, baseband, kernel, build and software versions still showing (4.4.2), and running the support tool will show that an upgrade is still available. Tried it 4 times or so with the same result. My phone's not rooted either.
have you tried this site: http://lg-firmware-rom.com/ ? just enter your imei and download the latest firmware available for your phone. to flash it you can use LG Flash Tool 2014 .
Yeah sadly it seems that the latest rom showing on that site is the only I already have:
Model: LGD855
Latest Firmware: V10K_00
Thanks for the link though.
same problem in here ..
same phone model , d855 - 32GB
same version , v10k-sea-xx
and checked on http://lg-firmware-rom.com/
Model:LGD855
Latest Firmware:V10K_00
any solution ?
if i flash the lolipop rom through the lg flash tool will it brick the phone ?

Don't even upgrade your D855
Hi friends. I was able to update my D855 to 5.0 in India via LG PC suit but trust me friends, the update is so worthless and sux that within 2 days I again moved back to 4.4.2. with the help of LG Flash Tool 2014. Guest mode completely gone, users mode is there but you can't create users with restricted profiles, ART switching is pathetic giving lags to the phone infact too many lags like coming out of an app or unlocking the phone will make the widgets on home screen jump and appear(mind you it's not the animation effect), no smooth transition, RAM consumption was too high, phone getting hot too often, etc.. I must say that update took away too much than giving.
upgrade issue
I'm also having the same issue on upgrading via lg support tool, but after downloading and installing the 1gb+ file twice, nothing happened :crying: . Anyone has found a solution?
Lollipop 20 e available now sea version via pc suit
Download your wanted firmware and upgrade with LG Flash Tool 2014

I don't know what the guy couple posts above me is saying, but my LG feels like a total different phone after upgrading to Lollipop. Just make sure you do a factory reset after upgrading to Lollipop for the smoothest experience.
hello , what's the difference between the LG Flash tool 2014 and the LG mobile support tool?

[Q] Problem in updating LG G3 D885

Hi, I have some problems in updating my LG G3 D885. He hasn't got OTA update.
I some screens to explain my situation.
Android Version: 4.4.2
Software Version: V10J
I'm italian.
Someone can help me?
hi, go to this site :http://lg-firmware-rom.com/
enter your imei number. if there is an update, download it and flash it, otherwise you'll have to wait or flash some roms
The latest is v10L or V20F (Lollipop) so you're definitely not on the latest.. I don't see a problem with flashing a newer version if there is one.

How to downgrade LG G3 from Marshmallow 6.0 to Lollipop 5.0.2

Hello, I'm new to this site and made this thread because I couldn't find any tutorials on how to do it from my phone model. Recently I upgraded my T-Mobile lg g3 phone ota to Marshmallow and I hate the update. I've been searching everywhere trying to figure out how to downgrade back to Lollipop. My model is d851 and I heard from some users that you need the LGUP or LG Flash tool. I still just don't know how it works. I only seen tutorials on it for models d855. Anyone know a fix around this?
