Not whacked, normal for A/B partitioned devices. There's basically 2X of every partition that in pre-A/B devices had only 1x of.

I don't think that that is the issue in this case. The system on my OnePlus 7 (which is also an A/B partitioned device) uses only 11GB, also Android 10. The system on my OnePlus 7t is 27GB.

solution: place skin or some form of protection on back of phone
I would love to have something like this for the Nexus 5. Also check out the Mod-3 radius for the iPhone.

Why is the OS taking so much RAM?

I've switched from an Asus Zenfone 2 that had 2GB of ram, Lollipop 5.0.1 and a 720p screen:
System uses only 365MB

is there a reason why it's doubled compared to the Asus implementation of Lollipop?

Never used Asus. But AFAIK free ram is wasted ram. However, 2GB is insufficient in my opinion. You can switch to may be 5 or 6 apps. After that, it reloads

Was wondering if anyone had knowledge of this. Is this harmful or is there a way to get rid of it and maintain current status?

Battery dies at 50%!!!

So, I've disabled the two apps that allow for ota with package disabler pro. And my phone still charges to 100%. But for the past 3 days straight, every time my note 7 reaches 50% battery, it quickly shuts off and says none is left. I don't even understand... What am i doing wrong? See the picture bellow to see the battery life. Can someone help?
