Hello Guys ! Reading everything related about this topic I mist say that I only found that Huawei P20 phone users will get an Update on later this month! Some of us got the settings update but nothing more so far! I think the update for us the Europe users will still take place in March wheb it was expected and the late October announcement is for Chinese users! What do you think
I am mainly interested of the dark theme despite the fact that there is a dark mode on Google play that fits well with the grey on black errors! Also I think that we are not able to use google pay recently because of the Trump Huawei forbiden software!

Guys this page is dedicated to updates for android one.
We know running a company is not a simple and easy. You ( google ) are releasing updates and some people got the update for android one but this wont help you if you do this everytime. You promise us 2 years updates . Does that means 2 years late updates ? means android one will get updates after 2 years of lollipop update ? and the L stands for Land ? ( penis ? ) we Indians trusted you and most indians took this phone because of google and the update promise but now you are doing this . Hope google reads this...

I think people are getting updates or the update news is totally fake . We will surely get update but its late . People are moving towards other phones like one+one and yureka .

i know people inside google and google gave this update months before but oem like micromax and karbonn dint gave it to public by not releasing the ota and it was decided before that google will gie the update immediately but there wont be any direct support from google like nexus series..googles soul responsibility will be to give update asap to oem and they will release in there country with there few apps but these oem are in fear that google android one project will be success then they have to be dependent on google thats y they not giving update and frustrating the popolation so that people dont buy android one phones..when you go to service centre also with android one phones they wont listen properly ,go to shop to buy phone theyll show you other models saying better than android one....whatever it is we should respect googles project of andoid one nad help it as much we can ..googles dream of suppying to all masses with cheapest nexus..

As we know original Huawei Watch is nearly 2 year old so that raises a big question: will there be anymore updates after initial AW 2.0 update? I hope there will be (at least some minor fixes & security updates) or does Huawei focus on their HW2 support from now on? I understand that there probably won't be big future updates anymore for HW1 (like AW 2.5 or AW 3.0). What do you guys think what the future holds for original HW?

I'm expecting the worse, to be honest. Unfortunately it's a trend every manufacturer follows, after merely 2 years of being launched they say like the soup nazi on Seinfield:"No more updates for you!"

Watch's update are a bit different than phone's update, manufactures cant do any change to their watch's firmware ,and updates will provide by google itself!
Google is more supportive of their devices so we should get updates more than we expect

Huawei has just two watches to update almost with similar hardware, so it shouldn't be difficult to support them both, since even now the original watch is still on production lines.

They have at least 3. The Huawei Watch 2 has two different versions, with different hardware.

Just wondering if anyone has any news from the folks at RAZER as to when we'll be seeing that Oreo Update. It was supposed to be out within Q1 2018 which suggests by the end of the month (March) but no release news as yet...???????
Just chatted with them on support, the rep still says first quarter. Then they said there's still 3 weeks left so it will be out "very soon"..

I was contacted by Razer late last week based on some issues i was having regarding the Netflix app still crashing my phone at a very high % and they where talking about waiting for the next big update. They didnt give the impression we would be waiting long but then also didnt give a timescale.
Already talk that we would be getting Android O 8.1 as a version and some talk about Android P as my understanding is theres some fetaures in P that will make it easier for non Google branded phones to update easier. So hopefully the phone gets quicker system updates and my majour concern is that it gets quicker secuirty updates.
Also as mentioned above by Roxas the Offical Razer Theme App got a recent update to support Android O

P just had it's first beta release afaik. Correct me if I'm wrong. Won't come out until fall this year.

The Huawei Honor 6X was released back in 2016 on Android Marshmallow. It received the update to Nougat a few months later and is set for one final blaze, with confirmation on Huawei's forums touting a May 2018 Oreo rollout for the device.
According to the post, the Honor 8, Honor V8, and Honor Note 8 will also receive the update to Oreo in May. A similar post also confirms that the Huawei P9, P9 Plus, and Mate 8 will also receive their Oreo updates in May.

I'm Italian and i only know English as another language, however seeing 2018 and 5 as numbers between Chinese characters, and an official announce that has been noticed on Weibo about other Huawei/Honor devices that would had received Oreo let you understand that beta tests would had place this May. In fact, 200 Chinese registered users (but the update package circulates online on some site, i saw) had started the beta tests.
Now let's see if in one month, something will be released globally for all variants.

I recently bought a new Huawei watch GT in Israel.
I updated it to the latest version that Huawei Health is offering me which is 1.0.5.34. With the help of a simple google search I saw that people around the world already have a much newer Lite OS versions with performance updates, new watch faces and so on...
I want these updates too. Why haven't I got them? What can I do in order to get them?
