Great ROM

Some questions for those who are trying it now:
-Do the gestures work completely with side swipes too?
-Are physical buttons disabled or remain active? (With activated gestures)
-Do OTA updates work? Are they always over 1 GB?
Thanks

Rom will be above 1 GB as includes Gapps...

Awesome! So far everything is working. Only one question, is it possible to disable the second sim card without having to remove it from the device?

How is stability and performance? I'm using September 9.0 Plus. Very smooth and stable.

It would be nice to have all the Android 10 gestures, disabling the buttons ... and having the option to disable the battery charging LED and the button lights, very annoying at night

Very good performances ! Nice improvement since previous version :
- Cam working
- FP fully functional
- Encryption is now working : when launched the phone is rebooted and then shut down, but when we power on after that boot is ok and encryption done !
Some minor issues:
- keyboard layout is not at the bottom of the screen but few pixels above
- at first boot I was unable to receive the text for Google double check, had to bypass and do it later

Don't want to be the bad guy here, but your statement is not 100% correct.
In my case, when I tried that option, it has done the same as you, but after reboot it told me my /data partition was corrupted. So, I believe the statement of the ROM author is (still) correct.
Feedback to author (Jonas): This is a very nice and smooth ROM and most of the features are really working as expected.
Some suggestions:
- Is it possible to add an updated Google Cam port? It'd be nice to have some features like astrophotography, or night sight
- Also, is it possible to add "Exchange Services" on a next release? Some email (mostly corporate accounts) still use this.

Shame it didn't work for you. At boot it asked for the swipe to decrypt. Don't know of it is related, but i dis format all partitions before installing.

Hi Jonas...
May I ask, if lets say Pie version is no longer around, will you make the upgrade option to Ten via system updates?

Lotttttttttttt of bugs, i use the previous update my battery was draining in 3 hours max then i switched to lineage os i got a battery life of shocking 9 damn hours same usage , then after android 10 came out yesterday , i tried it today lot of bugs . tap to wake up not working , back gesture not working , my battery just bounced from 30 to 50 after keeping for charge for just 2 min may be calibration issue, its heating , face lock missing please add it back i really loved it , the keyboard has a wierd white color bar idk why may be the gesture thing its irritating not able to type , screenshot scroll is also missing i think i should wait for the plus version hopefully it will be better changing back to lineage os for now. but awesome work dev it was an awesome experience using android 10 on my device . Hi Jonas,
I've done a clean install of the ROM, however, after encrypting the phone, it turned off. After booting it again, it is stuck on the "G" logo for a very long time (already almost 30min). Is this normal?

Disclamer
As you people might know recently OnePlus released Open Beta 23/11 for the 5/5t which enabled the support for project treble on those devices. This ment that oxygen os finally had native support for treble for A only devices. What this means in a nutshell that this rom brings the newer ui and features from it and has made porting cross platform roms a lot simpler.
NOTE
->This is a alpha release and you'll find various bugs here and there, our team is working to fix them so please co-operate.
->Don't complain about lags and battery life project is still in alpha stage.
->Flash suncool and boost mod by @characteres

VoLTE working perfect.
oxygen os beta 11 review
so, everything basic is working. :good:
no problem in phone calls, data connectivity,
a lot more better in heat and battery management when compared to the older test builds
volte working
double tap to wake is working
three finger gesture working
navigation gestures working
some bugs (including the bugs stated in the op)
1. wi-fi problems as stated
2. stock camera as stated (gcam works perfectly)
3. brightness bug hasn't been solved yet, even after flashing the provided patch .. (lowest point will turn off the display)
4. screen wake up time is a little slow. (makes us think that fingerprint is slower, but its not)
5. as stated , face unlock registers the face but doesn't unlocks
6. the custom dpi settings in the display menu doesn't work properly (either its too big, or its very small, the mid point doesnt change anything at all)
7. the screen off gestures and fingerprint gestures aren't working
8. night mode and reading modes doesn't work
9. google contacts sync has some problems. doesn't seem to sync completely
10. the hot spot fails for the first time, but then after works fine
apart from these, im not gonna comment on battery life, smoothness and heat isues of the rom as it still is in alpha
but im happy to say that the dev made a significant improvement, because the battery life and smoothness are very much better than the test builds
as for the heat issue , the cooling solution like suncooling will work for the most of the part
these are just listing out what works and what not, and is no way an offence to the dev and his efforts, thanks @devabhi for the excellent port,
overall, pretty solid build for an alpha

Finger registration works. Usually you have to attempt enrolling your finger a second time to actually get it to register. I've found this to be the same for every pie ROM I've used/built for ether.
As for your phantom input issue, I haven't experienced anything of the sort myself. Can you capture the issue in a logcat and link it here?
PE is the favorite rom for all my devices and also on Robin it works well. One question, is it possible to add a shortcut to turn off the screen without pressing power button? For example long press on back button, or other.
Thank you for supporting Robin and your great work.

Are you on n108 firmware?
If so, I'd try reflashing it then PE. If that doesn't work, your fingerprint hardware may be broken. Can you confirm it working on other ROMs? If so, what ROMs & android version?
Is the expected behavior for incoming calls to just be broken, or should it be switching off VoLTE & switching on 3G for it work? I'm using Google Voice's Phone integration as well (dunno if that makes a difference), and all incoming calls have the muted issue on both sides.
Can't place any call on Airtel network. No incoming and outgoing. Internet works fine. Clean flashed several times but no solution

And he's busy right now so I don't think he'll be available any soon for this ROM

Hi! It's been a really long time since I've flashed a ROM and never done it on my Xiaomi S2. What's the best guide I can find aorund here?
I just flashed the rom, everything is fine like it should be but one problem. All the roms that I flash, the main camera app gets distorted. colorless, half green, half black and white pictures. what is the solution ? Yes, the xiaomi.eu miui 12 rom has no camera issues but the pixel roms or aosp roms are giving me trouble. please help.

hello, nice rom but fingerprint reader works only for unlocking the phone. no other app recognizes the input from it. It looks like they know it's there but can't use it
Hi, hope you are well, thank you for you rom, I really like it, had the issue with the camera but fixed with the enhancement fix, but:
my model is M1803E6H
1.-some times in stand by back light on, little dimmed
2.- and very often no sound in notifications and calls, even after changing for a personal ringtone, haven't tried with personal notification sound.
3.- how do you select a different tone for sim 2?
thank you very much indeed, take care
Hi, the rom is very nice. But I have a problem which I had probably on every aosp rom on this device. When i press on the fingerprint reader it starts to click on random things on the screen. It wouldnt be such a problem if it didnt even alow me to set up biometric login to apps like paypal. It just clicks on the cancel button when im asked to verify my fingerprint. My question is: Is there a way to fix that? If there is pls lmk ♥

Hi, I use Havoc OS. In the official Havoc OS for Redmi S2/Y2 Telegram channel folks have a flashable file called "goodix-fix.zip" that solves this issue. Maybe it can work on this ROM.

I flashed it just fine. Maybe you didn't do it right. These problems occur if you dirty flash a rom that shouldn't be dirty flashed. Try to do a totally fresh installation: go to recovery (I use TWRP), go to WIPE -> ADVANCED WIPE -> select DALVIK / ART CACHE, CACHE, SYSTEM, VENDOR, and DATA, then swipe to begin the process. After you've done a clean wipe, reboot back into recovery (some people think this is a crucial step somehow, wouldn't hurt to try) and select INSTALL. Choose the rom zip and swipe to install it. It already has GAPPS included so just boot into the system and make all the changes you want. Afterwards you can always boot back into recovery and flash magisk to root your device. Good luck!
I stopped using Havoc OS a few days ago. I use this now and I've experienced no problems so far. Can't wait for this to go official. Thanks for the hard work you developers are doing, especially for people who still use Redmi S2/Y2.

I'm using Pixel Experience Plus. Haven't encountered any issues yet. The best way is to just install and test each one and find out which one is more stable as per your particular needs.

There's no dedicated thread for this particular rom (for this particular device). But you can be checking this link regularly if there's something new: https://sourceforge.net/projects/redmiy2/files/
That's our maintainer's sourceforge link for his Redmi S2/Y2 roms. If there's ever going to be an updated PE+ rom for our device then it'll be there most likely.

Hi, anyone tested if Android Auto works?
Installed this yesterday, the rom is very stable, works fast and has a lot of customization options.
Haven't found many bugs, all in all, great rom to try if you want to use android 11
Only major bug seems to be that NFC isn't working for me
NFC looks to be working now, not sure why in wasn't initially
NFC seems to still be spotty.
Sometimes it works properly, sometimes it can't be turned on
Not sure what it is, but a reboot "fixes" it (albeit temporarily)
Allways had CRDroid on my OP5T and my and my girlfriend has it on her OP6. At this moment i have XtendedRom 5 on my OP7TPro. If i change to this version, lost my encryption data?. Can i install it from fastboot without problems with my data or sdcard ?. THANKS.
New update is available now.

I've also flashed without loosing my internal data, But I can't take guarantee same will be haapen with you, So first take backup of internal before proceeding. First I've executed these commands:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase odm
fastboot erase product
fastboot erase vendor
Then flashed CRDroid and no data loss. But still take internal data backup first just in case.
Really great rom thank you, i only have one bug so far, the right/left balance slider option don't work with Bluetooth ear buds.
How's the battery backup, anyone has any data for that?

I tried the first build but had many UI glitches. Have they been fixed as I'm really temped to try out this ROM. (I went back to oos10)
Also a couple of questions:
1) Can I install OnePlus dialer? I like the raise to accept feature
2) Is the OP oos 11 camera app included or do I have to flash it myself. If so how?
3) OnePlus buds support? Can I just use the oneplus buds app or do I have to use something else?
Thanks for building for this phone!

Fantastic news, can we get a changelog for the release?
Things I like to mention which probably aren't device specific but could be improved:
- Slide statusbar for brightness only goes down to 33%, not to 1%
- Fingerprint is misaligned in a lot of apps (so you see 2 FODs)
- Hold back to kill app doesn't seem to work properly, device vibrates as if an action was performed but the app doesn't get killed
- Hold power to enable flashlight doesd work, but would be better if a vibration was added for haptic feedback to the user
- NFC is still hit and miss, sometimes it does work, somtimes it doesn't
- Warning about SELinux every boot
- as an added option: Automatic enablement of DC Dimming under 15% screen brightness

Seems to work fine, tho I don't have an android auto compatible car, so I can't test it entirely..
The app seems to work tho
rom is great. smooth, customisable, didn`t found any bugs until now but have one issue that I quess is rom related, can`t install usb audio player from playstore, says app isn`t compatible with this version. I guess there are other apps that have this issue. other than that I like it very much! thanks dev!

Please tell me what type of UI glitches.
1) No you can't install untill someone modded to use with custom rom.
2) No oos cam included and you can't flash/install.
3) I don't have oneplus buds so can't confirm.

And a tip on how to add root will be more than welcome.
And the DPI at install is off :? not even the fingerprint icon doesn't line with the sensor

I think it's just you..
I've been trying this rom for more than 24 hours and so far so good ..
The lack of the features made me think I really have a Pixel phone lol it's just like stock rom (and that's a good point).

I experienced the same issue. I copied the mixer_gains.xml file from the stock samsung rom and replaced the one in this rom and now call volume is fine
Hi everyone, I try this rom for 24h and it is really smooth. But i have an issue with Google maps. When I open Google maps, the UX getting very big and i am not able to back to home screen.
Thanks for the fast download links. Downloaded and gonna give it a shot. Just wanna see how far this rom goes. Would be nice to have most of the features working.
