ButtonMapper / Sony XD9305 Advanced Soundsettings - Philips, Sony, TCL Android TV

Hi, on my Sony Android TV XD9305 theres a special volume control in the settings menu: Sound->Sound->Advanced settings->Common->Digital audio out volume
Do you see any chance to get a shortcut to this mapped to a button om the tv remote with the app Button Mapper? Or someone has a different idea? Also just to have a shortcut to the Advanced Settings in the Soundsettings menu?

Volume keys as scroll keys

Does anyone know an application to change (selective like for Acrobat Reader or other non audio apps) the function of the volume keys to a scroll function (eg. up/down with „single click“ and left/right with „double click“)? Perhaps via „/system/usr/keylayout/“
Sorry bro, but I only know about scrolling through volume keys in web browser.

[Q] MENU button?

I'm using the Torque app to see the fault codes in my car, but I can't set up a profile because the app doesn't have a built in "three dot" menu/settings button. Is there anything else I can do?
Is there a dedicated menu button that I can add to my Paranoid Android / Nova laucher Nexus 7?
Solved
Got GMD GESTURES and custom made an action to simulate the menu button.

search key : music control ?

Since my volume rocker is gone hence couldn't benefit from skip track with volume mod, I was hoping to assign search key to music events like this :
- long clic : play/pause music
- simple clic : play next
- double clic : play previous
is there any mode in keylayout to do so ? also I noticed that AVRCP.kl file in /system/usr/keylayout/ has some potential but I think it's for bluetooth headset.
I'm on GB and xposed for GB is an alternative I think but I wished for a less radical way ...

There is an app that change R/L buttons
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hatcyl.android.Change_Shoulder_Buttons
Try and see is it work for you
yep it's a solution but it doesn't work on screen off and it get triggered while playing on games (for example in media profile the action in n64oid is executed but next/previous is executed too !)
after remapping search key with xposed additions, screen off option don't work either
EDIT : ok it worked while off-screen but with home and power key , in xposed additions just enable profile of home and power key in off-screen like this :
Home key (screen off) :
- Clic Action : Power Forced
- Double Clic Action : Media Play/Pause
- Long Press Action : Media Next
Power key (screen off) :
- Clic Action : media previous
- Double Clic Action : Disabled
- Long Press Action : power Forced
I need a way to enable the other keys in screen off but it's a kernel matter

[Q]Where is my volume control !!

Having managed get my Kindle Fire happily booting a KitKat Rom ( pac_otter_4.4.4.RC-1_20140917-121132.zip ) thanks entirely to the excellent videos and threads of @sd_shadow I can't seem to find any way of controlling audio volume - should I not have access to a volume panel ? I am a total Android novice :silly:
Pull down top notification bar (near time) select setting, scroll down to sound
I use Volume Control Widget, free in play store

LineageOS 16: how to config menu button ?

Hi,
some applications needs a menu button to get all functionality, but my phone do have only "back - home - recent".
In developer options I found a flag to kill apps with long press of back button.

Thanks for your hints and tips
Settings buttons
Sorry, this was the first I was looking for
there are only settings for power and volume (hardware buttons), nothing else. Nothing about navigation bar and his buttons.
could this be device specific customized in LOS by devices maintainer?

Try Button Mapper. You can easily customise any hw button function with it. Available here or from Play Store.
