Yes, it needs some ****ty theme engine. I was also scared but it seems legit. However like most things buyer be ware.
Theme engine is called Zooking Soft.
Anyone read this language? Some legit Huawei themes .

I've found some info about this engine - apparently it's needed only for special animated lockscreens so in my case is not nesesary. I've uninstalled it and theme works allright.
Anyway its quite strange for me that it can instal itself just like that.

Don't rememner exactly, (something lime huawei theme engine).
I opened settings->applications->list of aplicatios and in the search field I typed "engine" . Try doi.g like this.

Fonts work perfectly on 9.1, I use Theme Manager and download ttf fonts from here then use Theme manager to convert them to show within Huawei themes.

Log in to your Huawei ID , I had same issues when not logged in. Meaning the fonts options wasn't visible under the attached screen.

got new phone with 9.1 upgraded to 10 right away. realized i could not font(or did not figure out how for emui10)
got pissed off and downgraded through Hisuite(full reset...ugh)
switched regions to the UK and installed mobile services and whatever else needed. rebooted phone
logged in with Huawei ID and - still nothing.
got pissed off again and deleted everything...lol then found your post.
I use Nova Launcher Prime
and Moxy Icons
non rooted or oem unlocked.
so now im just confused...

Not sure what else to suggest, sorry. For me the fonts not showing was because I wasn't logged into my Huawei ID. My region for Hicare etc and Appgallery is also set to the UK. I'm in the USA.

just reinstalled app gallery and mobile services. going to try this again. what launcher you use? not that it should matter.

I don't use any, default stock Launcher. Wasn't Appgallery and Huawei mobile services already installed when you rolled back to 9.1?

i afraid its a little bit unsolvable, due to its pixels size, ill be forced to remove the 2 lines ingoing and outgoing, because changing its pixels make them totally small and almost unseenable, thats why i left it as it is now

Well I tried it and everything was themed except the battery icon...but after a while it made that vibration when something crashes and then the phone just got stuck and wouldn't do anything and then restarted after a while.

Ok ill tell what to do but sorry I cant make it coz I dont have the s3 to test it by my self
Open the zip file then go to vrtheme then system then framework and delete these folders:
Simp-res.apk
Lktog-res.apk
Framework-miui-res.apk
Flash it and it will hopefully work without problems

Okay, so as many of you know,the text cursor is missing in quite a few third party apps in KitKat B506. I've sent a bug report to Huawei Support regarding this, and this was their response:

Now I'm not sure how this works, but in the apps where the cursor is shown, there are 3 Google apps, so why do they have the cursor shown, but not in the other Google apps? There are also non-Google apps that don't show the cursor.
Surely there must be a way to force the cursor to show somehow, right?
Hopefully, if we all complain about this to Huawei, they will do something about this, because it's pretty obvious that international users use their Chinese firmware too. [emoji57]

It most likely will, lol, so let me just apologise in advance [emoji12]
The reason I notice the lack of the cursor, is because I type on my phone a lot, and when I type long messages, it makes it difficult to see where my cursor is when i need to edit any typos. Using the bottom tag thing isn't always easy to use when trying to be accurate with the cursor.

All the users who tried Chinese B506 have this problem and it's not a minor problem !
I hope that Huawei devs are watching XDA. If the international KK comes with the same problem i ll stay with JB.
I don't think it's a big issue, but it would be good if it gets fixed. It only bothers me when I am not sure if I have activated the typing field. Unconsciously my eyes are waiting and reacting to the cursor in the new field, and thus I lag while typing
What we need to figure out is what it is that controls which apps are allowed to show the cursor, and which aren't.
I've been going through the framework-res files, and I don't see anything that does that.
Just an update on this: I updated my device to B507SP01 from the Chinese Huawei site last night, and to my surprise, the cursor is back! [emoji16] ?
So if any of you are unhappy with B510, and missed the cursor as much as I did, I'd suggest updating to B507SP01. It obviously just doesn't have any google apps though.

Wow I just googled it I I found it .. Gotta love Xda man . thanks a lot for making this . I think the play store icon is different tho on the websites I saw them on . on another note I tried installing the apk and got an error saying there's already a packagewithvtue same name or something so I just extracted and used icon changer and the pngs

Actually, it IS a beautiful theme. I didn't use your second link I used the first one, I think the problem is that your instructions are not clear in your opening post - which you should add there because it's a great theme and an excellent addition for everyone.
First they need to know that the site is in Chinese.
Then to look for the two buttons, one in blue on the left and the other in orange to the right.
Then not to click on EITHER!!
BUT to click on the Chinese writing UNDER the Orange button.
The file should show up as Android L. Anything else is bundled software from the Chinese site itself.
It's a super little theme,

Actually, it's quite a lovely theme if this whole new 'flat' look does it for you.
Everything is scaled properly, and they even change font throughout. The only thing I've noticed is that it changes the soft keys to the new Android L style on the homescreen, but this doesn't hold throughout the theme.

How can i change the notification panel "green" colors to fit the grey original color? Also when im in task manager there is a chinese word for clear all, how can i change that?

I'm not sure why some people are having an issue with applying themes in B513. Have you maybe tried doing a factory reset?

I modified this theme.There are no green colors in notification panel and chinese words.I hope you like it

Same here. I tried wiping data, cache, uninstall, etc, but won't work. Funny thing is that it opens up just fine in bg while showing a message about how it can't work.

Seems like the same with Hangouts... No other issues yet. I did get the same error messages with Play Store at first, but after an update and sign-in it was fixed. Not sure if that might fix the others also, since I don't use YT or Hangouts. Maybe signing in will help.

Not to step on your theme bro, but using layers the end user doesn't have to worry about updates, incompatibility and they have the ability to easily revert.
