Anyone on dual sims and 3/4G, how much screen on time do you get? - OnePlus 7T Questions & Answers

I have been disappointed with Galaxy Note10 battery life. With dual sims and cellular data, I barely get 4 hours screen on time before the battery runs out. I plan to move to 7T but still doubt about battery life. Is it any better?

Wow, notify buddy has is a huge culprit... I don't really like it as it messes with the lift to wake up. IMHO pixel pulse is better.

I tried them all, I was a huge fan of Led Blinker Pro but that one is not working anymore since Android 10. Notify Buddy is for me a good replacement.

Unfortunately it won't be that much. Maybe someone can explain how it gets measured. Look at mine for example.

Most people get from 2-3 hours screen time and around 18 hours battery.

How are you all getting so much battery life out of it?
Mine doesn't even last a day, with like 1 hour screen time.
Any tip appreciated, thanks.
Im also losing battery fast...even when im not using it, kept it in deep sleep, it still losing battery about 1% in 5 minute...is any kernel that good with battery life...there is something that eating the power...
me too is losing the battery fast, even after updated to ARHD 17.1 (JB), it sucks a lot where it could drop to 40% within four hours and minimal screen on usage. Really make me wonder if it is hardware problem because have flashed different ROM but still yield the same result.
hit it with a thunder...that should do the trick
I think the best battery life Rom it is venom viperx...after 24 hours with 3 g and data on I have 2%...the screen was on 2h13 m with auto brightness and calls 1h55m...some mails,facebook,xda...I think i'm not gonna try jb...this rom it's perfect and verry customizable:thumbup::beer:

I also had major problems with battery life on my HOX. My solution so far is to dissable synchronization of Google Contacts, This gives me a gain of at least 50% generally.
I've attempted to dissable services one by one, and Contacts appears to be the culprit.
Try this and let us know..
Edit:
Im on stock JB european rom
Been watching a movie on MXplayer and battery is down to 68% from 100%, screen on time is 1 hour 50 minutes. Which suggests that I can watch movies for 4 hours+.
Don't have the screenshots to prove it now that i've started charging my phone.
Oh yeah, matt95 measured it by the screen using 45% out of those hours, which equals 9.3 hours. Doubt that it's right though.

I am seeing similar numbers on my new Note 7 on AT&T. So far the battery life blows for me, the set up is identical to my Nexus 6P except I have Google Now always on (launch from your voice regardless of whether the screen is on or off) turned off. All other apps are the same, sync is the same, etc. I'm hoping it's something simple or the phone just needs to settle in otherwise I'll go back to my 6P.

Im guessing it still has the wifi calling bug from previous samsung phones
Good..so it's not just me. Android System is usually around 20% and now Android OS is around 20%. I am also on AT&T. Battery life has been pretty subpar in my opinion, so I'm hoping it settles in after awhile.

Yea, same here. I just tried wiping the cache partition, so we'll see if that makes a difference.

Screen on time

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Huawei Mediapad M3 before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Screen on time is not something that I watch. I am more interested in low battery consumption when it is not used (and this is very good on Nougat).

Yep.Is that bad ? I'm very pleased with this SOT. At a 6660 mph battery this SOT seems about right. Please note that I get this SOT with the screen brightness set under 20% cause I can't stand using it more brighter. My eyes hurt.

On my Note 7 I was getting close to 7 hours. And that was with everything turned on and brightness turned up. I was really afraid about the no date but I decided to take the chance even though the battery is smaller and the screen is bigger I guess they are more efficient now I have to wait till October 1st but I'm getting excited thanks for the heads up
This is a tablet... you can not compare it to a note phone. Well you can but you shouldn't. They are totally different.

Buying new P2

Hi, I'm choosing new phone and I'm deciding between Lenovo P2 and Xiaomi RN4. I like better battery in Lenovo, can you please post PCMark battery life score? I'd like to know if battery is really good and durable and if it is not very wakening after average using.
On the other hand, it looks that development on Lenovo is worse, do you think there will be some active roms after 2 - 3 years?
If I try stock firmware, is there an option e. g. to use volume button for music switching? It looks that xposed for Nougat still isn't in the game.
And last question is where to buy phone. On tinydeal it is much cheaper than in shops in my country, isn't there any problem with buying phone from China?
Thank you.

Try search the battery testing in gsmarena.com. Lenovo is the best but Xiaomi RN4 not far behind. I'm using lenovo P2. Personally, I think the battery performance is the best. Can be used up to 2 days for light usage.
PCMark is not as impressive as RN4...

This phone lasts a lot longer than 2 says on light useage
12-14 hours SOT over 3 days takes me down to about 20% from a full charge.

I think its just a bug, mine seems to stay on 100% for a long time too. It does drop eventually. The battery life is very good on this phone though. I've never had it run out during a day yet. It does seem to better reflect battery use at it gets lower.

Yes you are right after 90 minutes it's dropped to 99 and 98, I thought I have to restart to get correct reading but didn't

I have same issue. Stays at 100% after 30mins or more of usage. As soon at it drops to 98% battery drain becomes normal.
I did the calibration reset code *#0228# and it didn't change a thing.
Battery life is good on this phone but nothing impressive.
Probably needs a few charge cycles for the battery to calibrate properly, happened to me too.
Still going strong, no power saving , 4g all the time , Bluetooth all the time, alot of games, Facebook and YouTube

My battery life
this phone is excellent on battery life.
when i first used it and charged it to 100%, I noticed the same thing, and was confused, checked to see if the phone froze, etc. But then I started to feel invincible from the overabundance of power. LOL.
