Hey! So, when I flashing modem from official MIUI 11 to my Havoc 3.0 (official build) i got no service text. IMEI`s is there, but MEID and PSN cleared. I think, the EFS is got ssome problems, so can anybody to give me a EFS backup? P.S. wi-fi and bluetooth is working P.S.S. i used efs from miui 11

As I wrote , I use F180K with original modem and CM 10.1 (stable): http://get.cm/?device=e975&type=stable
and, as many other users I'm waiting for issue fix - Bluetooth audio problem (car kit, outgoing calls),
and in addition, I have some random network failures.
I found some issues on Jira:

but don't know which one is related to BT problem?
How to speed up this issue? It's really pain in the a..... because I drive a lot, and I have to switch to my old SGS2.

Why don't you use stock?If you need BT calls,use stock,
to be honest: I don't know how do it fast... if you have link to some tutorial - I will be grateful.
I mean use stock rom,not cm,which is still on developement stage.
Use kdz updater to revert back to orifinal firmware and that's it.

Sorry for delay, You mean Korean stock ROM or Europe ROM for E975? I would like to flash EU ROM with Korean modem. I have TWRP installed, so I'm not sure how to flash kdz. I was searching but KDZ_FW_UPD.exe requires download mode, but now (with TWRP) I'm downloading only via "adb sideload". If you could be so helpfull (or someone else) and explain how to go back to original ROM. I switched from Korean ROM to CM 10.1 using tutorial, and don't want to mess something up with experiments.

Hi guys, firstly i wanna thank you for this wonderfull forum, i've been reading it in and out for the last 3-4 weeks.
I managed to successfully root and flash a HTC one, a HTC desire, my good Samsung s4, and then..
A friend of mine has an LG Optimus g pro f240s, bought from Amazon - from Korea SK Telecom, we live in Europe (Austria).
As we had some security problems with the old (not updated for a long time) software 4.2.2 early this year, we decided to flash a custom Rom.
That is where the trouble begins. Now, i managed to root the LG Optimus G PRO and to install a Cyanogenmod ROM.
Everything was fine, except there has been NO SIGNAL.
Then, a week later - the new Stock software came in 4.4.2 and i have tried to update it through the official software, and i also have followed the guides here on XDA developers (the ones with adb interface, marwin2, https server, and so on). Nothing.
Then i have discovered that my WIN 8 computer is not the ideal environment for this operation, so i've installed WIN7 and tried once more.
I have been able to flash the stock based LGViet Rom 4.4.2, also found on this forums. Still have been getting service disabled.
Then the official APP from LG has finally been reading the phone, so i have made an official update, now having the official - stock version of 4.4.2 LG SK Telecom software.
The modem reads the same one that was there upon buying the phone (original one), the phone behaves normally, but - SERVICE DISABLED!!!
Please help, i have no root, no custom recovery now, but a very good looking tablet without being able to do phone calls!
I have been thinking - could this be an SIMLOCK issue? I have bought the unlock codes, but i do not have the original SK Telecom Sim, so there is no way to enter them. I have tried these codes 2945#*240# or 2945#*975#, but there is just NO POP UP menu to enter the codes!
What should i do to get the service working?

thank you for the code, i've tried it just now but after entering it it just disappears without any action. Suppose ill try to run the official update once more and try the code again.

1 - root stock 4.4.2 with the new roottool
2 - install CWM with GPRO_Recovery_6.0.4.4
3 - flashed the new LGViet Sphinx ROM v 1.5
4 - wiped cache and user data
5 - SUCCESS - everything is restored, im on 4.4.2, the bloatware is not wiped and i DO HAVE SIGNAL!

I have E988 indian version, I flashed beanstalk on my device, everything was working fine but then I flashed madmack modem (with wrong modem), I then got bootloop but I restored my nandroid backup then, so phone is working now but I have lost my IMEI and phone not detecting any sim card...:crying:
I have my EFS backup image which I backedup using freegee, I restored EFS backup using freegee but it is not working....... Please tell me some way to get my IMEI back and network signal........:crying:

I successfuly flashed the following ROMs
- CosmicCM KK 4.8.1
- cm Resurrection Remix LP v5.3.4
- TouchWiz V9
- CARBON KK
- CM 12 unofficial
with and without the compatible GApps mini module when possible
but every time the IMEI num. turns to 000000000000000, IMEI SV to 01 Mobile Data works fine but no messages and no calls (mobile network not available) only flashing stock ROM seems to magically fixes the problem .
backing stock efs with xenon's tool or Samsung tool and restoring it on ROMs doesn't work, the internet has dozens of fixes that only applies to the stock rom i followed some fixes involving extracting and flashing stock baseband, MTKDroid tools and Terminal Emulator (Didn't try every fix on every ROM not that desperate.. yet) .
Naturally i can't remember the details of every fix but feel free to ask about any
So i'm running out of options here, Am i missing something ? Any other ideas ?
I noted that this IMEI particular issue is kinda foggy on XDA i assume the reason is that the solution may involve a way to change IMEI witch is illegal in some countries, If that is the case confirm it ! thanks .

Now I wonder if there's the chance to flash a new version for baseband?
In the settings I see I'm still on version 39 (8974-AAAAANAZQ-10270045-39).
I know there's the possibility to return to Stock Firmware thus updating also the baseband (currently version 81 in latest stock version 14.6.A.1.236 / R5D, for O2 Germany)
I've already downloaded Stock firmware (via XperiFirm.exe) and checked if dedicated flashable baseband file is contained, but I couldn't identify one.
So installing stock firmware and flashing back to Cyanogenmod is quite a huge efford for only updating the baseband version.
Is there an easier way to do so? Is there a source where to download an up to date baseband file?

Look in 'exclude' box in Flashtool. I'm pretty sure there is a 'baseband' option. So, what you would do is open Flashtool, click flash, (), then select your ftf, then check every box in 'exclude' except baseband.
Yes, what @Level1 said should work.
I _think_ though, that the value of the baseband version is hardcoded somewhere. In that case, it doesn't actually reflect the version that really is installed on your phone.
This is what I seem to remember at least. Could be a different phone I am thinking about
You could make a nandroid of your current ROM, then flash the one with your desired baseband/modem and install this app:

in order to make a backup of modem1 and modem2 something (it's been a while and I don't remember the specifics, but it's quite simple - do some reading first..), then restore nandroid and install app mentioned above and restore modems.
I recommend not to do it if you don't experience any problem with your current setup..

I have a very big trouble with my xperia Z1 C6903.
I bought a motherboard from china. Unfortunately the little yellow men sent me a locked MB, which didn't work with playstore and showing any other problems.
I decided to flash my phone with an Italian ROM ( i live in italy) and everything seemed to work great, till the moment i realized my IMEI and BASEBAND became unknown. I tried to Reflash (using Flashtool) a lot of ROMS, included the chines one, but any of them restored my baseband and IMEI.
After 2 days of work now I've restored:
- IMEI
- WI FI MAC
- S.N.
But I can't restore baseband.
Each firmware i'd tried to download and flash didn't restore the baseband, so I ask to you:
- IS THERE A WAY TO FLASH THE ONLY BASEBAND?
- DO YOU HAVE A COMPLETE FIRMWARE? neither on xperifirm i can find it.
Plz help me before i decide to reperi it with gasoline and flamethrower.
