Hello guys, I installed bliss os v11.10 yesterday. Then, everything seemed to be okay. But when I press a key, the screen goes black and comes back. Can you help me about this error ? Thank you.
I had similar problems and solved loading the parameters i915.modeset=1 nouveau.modeset=0 AUTO_LOAD=old on my i3 SandyBridge like i did also on Androidx86 from www.android-x86.org, now only video without full screen are still black.

having real issues with the keyboard , currently using Android Revolution 9.7.2 but had same issues with viper.
sometimes the phone lags really badly and cant even use button to get to home screen and with the keyboard i touch a letter and it sometimes goes to another or doesnt select it at all , any help appreciated as it is doing my box in

i have , its ok for so long then lags again and sometimes have to switch between horizontal and vertical to get some letters.
trying to get back to stock rom and hope it clears it up

Before going back to stock, try downloading a different keyboard and seeing if that will solve the problem.
I suggest Swype from the playstore, but any can do the job.

Hi, My verizon HTC one display is acting weird
my menu works fine and if i set my wallpaper to plain black it works fine
but if i try to see or open any images half of the screen goes white and
the screen glitches but when i take a screenshot and view on my pc it looks fine
my MHL HDMI works fine
is there a fault with my display or is there a problem with my display hardware?

then i would think its is a HW problem. go into a VZW store and show them see what they can do for you.
Hello.
I am having an issue with split screen after Android 10 update.
The split screen is there but I cannot resize it.
It always pop back to middle of the screen.
Any idea?

Hi Muhammad.
I can split the screen as you have shown but the issue it that it cannot be resized.
I used to have (in Android Pie) Youtube at the top - at about 1/3 size of the screen and at the rest 2/3 Chrome.
Now it is only 50:50.
And when I swipe the "dash" in the middle between the two screens upwards/downwards then it comes back into the middle.

That I cannot do, even though I am swiping the "dash" upwards/downwards (it changes the shape into a "dot") when I release it then it comes back into the middle of the screen....

For me it's the same: i can do split screen but when moving the split-line up or down, it always goes back to the middle.
I have the exact same issue. Are there any news in the matter?
Mine is working fine. Non rooted android 10 ota updated from android 9.
Damn same here... Android 10 has been a step backwards for me so far, wonder why it's working for some people and not us.

Running latest PixelOS alioth 12.1 on my poco f3
Sometimes - i dont know why or how my screen will turn off (as per usual) and then it wont turn back on
The finger print sensor implies its still on because of the haptick feedback and the phone is still functioning, except the screen doesnt turn on
Holding the power button resets the phone and then its fine - but i dont know why its doing this
Anyone experience the same or have any info?

I'd say seems like an issue with that Custom ROM. You could try asking that question to the specific ROM thread...
Same ROM here and same problem. Also PixelOS is no longer maintained so I'm trying to decide which ROM to switch too.

I'd think Pixel Experience Plus is similar. Altho haven't used either. I use ArrowOS, but that's not a Pixel ROM
I want to take this phone, is it worth it? The reviews on it are both positive and negative. I can't make up my mind.

Now I switched back to Xiaomi.eu Custom ROM because I was missing MIUI Cam & Dolby, but I had a similar issue.
Sometimes while I was on ArrowOS, when I try to turn on the screen it would take 2-3 seconds.. It was a tiny bit annoying

I'm using Bliss-v14.10-x86_64-OFFICIAL-opengapps-20230201 on a Dell optiplex 7050 micro with 16gb RAM and a Dell 2418HT touch screen monitor.
Video in apps is corrupted with green and black bars. The video plays smoothly but the entire screen is covered with thin alternating green/black bars.
I can play video fine with firefox/via etc.
I have tried many kernel parameters, such as
video=1920x1080, other valid resolutions
video=HDMI-1:d video=1920x1080, other valid resolutions
video=vga
vga=hex codes/decimal
vga=ask
nomodeset
xforcevesa
nomodeset xforcevesa
uc_mode=vesa (i believe that was it)
i've tried using the vga output instead of hdmi, with all the same parameters
If I choose a valid resolution below 1920x1080, the console seems to change resolution while booting but Bliss never changes, it's always 1920x1080.
The issue seems to persist in Bliss 15.8.4, and across gapps and foss versions. (edited: had Bliss 16 instead of 15)

Thank you very much. Everything is working great now.
When I tried both parameters the green and black bars would blink.
When I tried just GRALLOC=minigbm by itself the green/black bars disappeared and everything is fine.

I'm unable to replicate what happened. The green and black bars were no longer static but now flashed on and off like on a switch, which is the first and only time it ever happened.
I'm sure I did something wrong.
Everything works great, and I'm (now) using both of the parameters you provided. Thanks again.
And thanks to everyone who worked so hard to bring Android to PC.

Hi, please can You write out the steps, on how to fix that issue. Where do I input aforementioned commands and so on.
Please, for the love of god, someone guide me this ****fest. I NEED to fix the exact same issue. Ive been siting here for hours and hours trying to find out how the F* can I modify the system property You guys are talking about. My brain is melting.
Boot the device, when you see the boot selection screen hit 'e' to edit the boot parameters.
on the second line after 'quiet' put the following
'GRALLOC=minigbm' 'HWC=drm_minigbm'
then hit f10 to boot and see if it fixed it.
if it did, you can make it permanent by (in my case) doing the following
boot back to the boot selection screen and pick debug to boot
after it boots, type
mkdir /mnt/hd
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/hd
vi /mnt/hd/EFI/Android/android.cfg
hit 'i' to be able to make changes
go to almost the bottom and look for "Create Main Menu"
on the first entry, after quiet, enter GRALLOC=minigbm HWC=drm_minigbm
hit escape
hold shift and type :
then type wq and hit enter
vi should save and quit
type
umount /dev/sda1
then reboot
this is what I did in my case, there is probably a better way. I'm using Bliss 15.8.4 on bare metal.
