Is it possible, after root can i install a cutom rom? - Nokia 3.2 Questions & Answers

I root my nokia 3.2
Now How can i back up my stock Rom?
I also want's to install a custom-Rom.
I search every where but i can't find any solution.
If any one know about this, Plz help me.

Nokia 3.2 can easily be Bootloader unlock and that is pretty much everything you need to fully customize it.
However there's no custom recovery or rom yet to be developed for this device. Maybe it will get attention from developers in the future.

Hello,
I asked HMD Global If there's a Source Code for Nokia 3.2 released. They Said If the Code ist released it will be on this site: https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_int/opensource
Hopefully someone would Develop twrp and custom ROMs when released

(I am Brazillian, sorry by my English)
There you have the oficial CyanogenMod 7 rom support, instalation and development issues support.
In my opinion it is the best 2.3 alternative rom for p350.
The steps i know only in portuguese, but i believe i will find it in this link too.
The factory installed apps, the most one you will install with a Google package inside this link too.
The others you can download again on play store.
following a different guide i was trying to install CM Invasion V2 ROM.. i never got to the flashing ROM part... i was backing up the current ROM unsing ROM manager and my cell fone bricked... after banging my head... looking for solutions on the net and again banging my head... i finally was able to revive my cell fone (using kdz updater)... all this is a risky business
can anyone give me a near perfect guide for flashing ROM without using ROM manager.. please..
You'll have to flash a custom recovery first. Amonra is very stable. Then you can make a nandroid backup of your current rom from the recovery for you to go back to. Flash the rom you like and enjoy. If you need to do back to your original rom, just restore back from your nandroid backup

now flash recovery by going on thread then do steps
for flashing roms do following steps on recovery
1.creat nandroid backup only once not for everytime you flash
2.then go in wipe section and wipe all data
3.then go to flash zip manu and find rom then flash
4.sometimes some rom needs advanced steps for flashing like cm 7 official needs to format/system(steps for it it mentioned by the developer on his thread)
done reboot then enjoy flashing.
hope this will help you...........................
in future do not install recovery from rom manager it will brick your phone untill it gets perfect for our device
Remember we have a wiki page for this phone with an all-in-one guide for modifying it (rooting, recovery, custom rom installation, troubleshooting). I try to keep it updated, nice and clean (kinda hard some times).
About Android versions: The Optimus ME comes with Froyo (2.2) there is no other official firmware for it. CyanogenMod 7 is based on Gingerbread (2.3) which now has official support and is working pretty good now (yes, previous versions were slow, buggy but now they're pretty stable)... Honeycomb (3.0) is only for tablets, so it's not coming to P350. CyanogenMod 9 is based on Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0), which for this device is still a work in progress, so don't expect a timeline nor a soon release. CyanogenMod 10 based on Jelly Bean (4.1) is still a myth for the P350...

[Q] Time to Root for Custom ROM - Atlast!

Hi,
Since there is already a confirmation that the HOX and HOX+ will have no more updates in the future, I guess it is time for me to root and install custom rom again. I've been away for this rooting and installing custom rom since the days of my HTC Desire. I also did the same for the desire (wait for the final days of update then root it for custom roms).
Can somebody guide me on rooting my phone and everything.
I'm planning to:
Use windroid to unlock bootloader, install custom recovery and root. (Please correct me if i still missed something).
Also, I need some advise of which kitkat roms is recommended for daily use. I saw the CM11 thread and found out that the known bugs will affect my day to day use. Can somebody advise any other KitKat roms?
Thanks!
I say : read the stickies on how to setup fastboot and adb, and flash via manual commands. Roms....we won't compare them, forbidden on xda. Read the OP's of the roms and the thread about bugs/flaws. Make a choice and test.
Cheers.
I think i'm already done installing adb drivers and ready to unlock boot loader and root. Maybe i just need some recommendation for anyone who tested kitkat roms. Thanks anyway!
Can't help you there, i am always on sense roms. If you have questions about rooting and flashing roms issues you can always PM me. No problem
If you want to use a complete stable ROM don't go higher then 4.3.1 ...cm10.2 and the other 4.3.1 Roms are stable...and sense Roms are the most stable Roms out here for us...ATM kitkat has some problems which you don't know and don't know how to fix...so it will be better to use sense 5rom or the Roms with android 4.3.1 if you have other questions about KitKat pm me...I'm using since a few days and could answer some questions

[Q] installing new firmware/rom on my phone

Hi there.
I have the Huawei Acsend p6 phone, i have some rom of our cellular carrier, i'm not sure if it's custom or official rom with some minor changes. anyway, i can see that the build is "b130sp03".
i want to be at kitkat 4.4.2 with a good custom rom (one of the reasons i want custom is i not sure if my ver is official or not). the thing is: i'm new in this, and i don't know how i get from here to there.
i see some custom roms here, and each rom says you must have kitkat installed, or you must have this build installed before... so i go to the mentioned build, and then i see you must have that build before you install it... so i really don't know where to start and what is the right upgrade path for me.
can someone instruct me how to burn new custom rom from where i stand, and which builds (with links) i need to install after that in order to get to 4.4.2. Thanks a lot!
oh yeah. i rooted my devices. and install touch CWM

Wiko lenny4 custom rom or stock debloated or rest in topic

Hello, is there a custom rom or a debloated stock rom for lenny4?
If not, can anyone redirect me to a nice tutorial to take official rom, or my own rom backup, debloat it and then reinstall it?
Otherwise a tutorial on how to port android on other devices in general please?
I'm also looking to learn other general stuff, specially porting and modding android.
Edit: Even if there are software/script and such already made that automatic debloat it is fine.
The smartphone has android nougat 7.0.

2:Xos(chameleon)>bugs>Sim card not detected

Installing Xtended XS ROM

Couldn't get the answers in the thread for the ROM, so...
I want to install this ROM on my OP7T HD1907, Which I already unlocked the bootloader and installed a international ROM. That was fairly straight-forward to me.
I downloaded the ROM files, but they aren't any extensions I am used to. I haven't rooted or installed a custom ROM since 2011-2012 ish. (HTC Desire 4G) which was easier it seemed, Used TWRP I think.
Could someone please help?
Please delete. Figured it out.
Well then share with other people how'd you do it? I want to install the latest xtended ROM on my OP7T. Can't find a guide. Help me out can you?
