USB Debug mode staying on even when it's off in Developer Mode? - LG V35 Guides, News, & Discussion

Has anyone else encountered where they enabled USB Debug mode then turned it off and it stays on even though both Developer Mode and USB Debug Mode is off? Even after restarting your phone?
Apparently the only way to "fix" this is to factory reset your phone but the bug comes right back if you re-enable USB Debug Mode.
This kind of seems like a big oversight with LG...

Airplane Mode/Los

I've been noticing every now and then my phone will go into airplane mode and I can't get it to come out. I uncheck it and it says it's turning the radio on but when I exit wireless settings and go back in - there it is, checked again.
When I hold down the power button I can 'turn off' AP mode but it's still on and checked in the wireless settings.
LoS is something different supposedly but next time someone has it (not ghost Los) check the AP mode and let me know.
Also think I can recreate this issue very easily.

[Q] Can't turn off USB Debugging Mode!

I'm trying to get my stock unlocked Taiwanese HOX, JB, (tegra 3) to work with HTC Sync Manager. I saw through another forum that debugging mode had to be turned off. I went into options and unchecked the usb debugging option with the phone both connected and disconnected and it will not stay off. Every time I plug in the phone, it turns USB Debugging back on. I've tried turning developer options off completely, but each and every time, it turns usb debugging mode back on. How do I turn this off!?!?! Its driving me crazy now!
Thanks!
you don't need to turn it off? it will nothing break or so...all will working fine ...
Re
I have the same problem. Every time i plug in my phone to pc usb debugging turns on.

How do I enable USB Debuging? (Broken Screen)

I recently broke my Note 2 screen , now it only displays a black screen.
I would like to use it on my PC since my touch screen is working....
My device is rooted with KingRoot but i have no idea how to enable USB Debugging....
It was once enabled but i disabled it after the root process. THAnks for your help!
You need to simply go to a Service Center and get that screen fixed. You cant turn screen mirroring on from settings because of your broken screen and that is required to use your screen on PC (You can blindly try and activate it, its hard to do though). Turning on USB debugging from PC is impossible.

How to Reset to factory settings?

I have an Z1 Compact (D5503), where I have the problem, that the screen is totally wasted ... It doesn't respond to touch at all.
I'm able to power on, but I can't get past the initial lockscreen, as I can't even swipe.
Is there any way, that I can Reset to factory settings on this device?
I'm quite sure that USB Debugging is not enabled.
usb otg adapter + usb mouse should do the trick

OP3 Broken screen. Needs to recover data.

Hi,
I have a stock standard one plus3. Screen is broken. However phone seems to boot up. I have red light for charging. Capacitive buttons work as well as if i click them i feel vibration as feedback.
At this stage i don't care about the phone is there a software/hardware way to get the data out of the internal memory. I am happy to disassemble and get the chip out but what follows is elluding me.
Debugging is disabled afaik. Tried booting into recovery mode and it does vibrate when i hold power and volume down but nothing happens after that.
Any ideas ?
Regards,
atk
I have previously been through this situation before.
If you have Google Photos backing up your photos, you can just vaguely touch the screen while taking screenshots along the way, since you would able to access them on Google Photos' webpage, till you reach to the Developer Options, and eventually enabling Android Debugging. And after all of that, you would be able to download some tool—like Vysor—on your computer to control your Android device.
Please note that if the screen's touch capability is also broken, use a wired game controller, keyboard, or mouse to connect a Bluetooth-based one, since you will need your phone connected to the computer to enable Android Debugging.
the phone worth saving, just get a cheap replacement screen. you won't be able to recover anything without unlocking the phone first.
also check your google account, it can store your stuff up to 15GB if your sync was turned on.
