can you tell me how to install from global rom?

Any initial findings so far? Anything not working properly? I'm looking to give it a go, is it stable enough for a daily driver even if i like to live on the edge

Has anyone flashed miui china based Android 10 (Official miui or Xiaomi.eu or miui pro) in the Indian variant of redmi note 8 pro? There is Miui Pro v20.1.16-10 available in miuipro fans Telegram channel. Any suggestions or steps for Indian variant?

When you get it you'll be good to go. My friend gave me his M2 (I developed for the X2, Mate 8 and currently the Mi Max) I plan on having a stock, rooted Rom with bloat removed in the works shortly.
How do I install? Thanks
Thanks,
is it working on M2 10 LTE?
Hello, i'm having an issue. I installed this recovery and it partitioned my internal to give 4gb of system app space. However, the remaining 8gb for internal space will not show up. And I'm not sure how to get it back. I tried to go through the recovery, but it only will partition removable partitions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello! Probably today, ill receive my new phone, mi a2 lite
As i thinking good, this phone have treble support. Bur my questions is: why there is only one custom rom? Im moving grom Alice (Huawei P8 lite) to Daisy, and P8 lite have much more custom roms. Do you have any begginer guide for this phone? (Like best gcam version od sth) ;p
Greetings

I'm using Havoc OS now. It's very good and comes with notch compatible(gapps)
Go to guides and news tab and you see there how to install gsi roms
Whichever GSI I've installed had major lags, which made it unusable for me. Especially when opening an app from recents. Stock is the most fluid, so I got stuck with it.

before installing twrp or any modification, you have to unlock bootloader (this will erase your data but it's not important you will delete while flashing)

I hated the square UI on stock, so I rooted the phone with Magisk and installed Substratum. Now I'm using Pixel theme on play store it's free and awesome. No more boring colors and ugly square corners. [If you want to install a substratum theme, make sure it supports Pie, otherwise the device will bootloop ]

A clean install will do with custom recovery, you can aslo leave internal storage unticked when erasing partitions. You cannot just go back and flash EU rom back to PIE from Android 10 because it will bootloop.
As far as ARB goes, there is no ARB once you are flashing custom roms.

Assuming your bootloader is unlocked and you have TWRP or Orange Revovery, you can do whatever you want. If backup work, go ahead. I suggest using Orange Recovery if you do not have that already.

Wipe all partitions, unless you are keeping stuff in your internal storage don't erase. Othereise flahsing the rom and them flash the current Magisk if you plan to use YouTube Vance or Viper4Android. I think the 12.26 version is Andoid 10. You may want to use the Xiaomi EU Developer Rom 9.11.14 one for Pie, after that it's Android 10. I aslso use that rom too in order to use custom Ressurected Kernel 6.2 Dev/AOSP, and Viper4android
Hello experts,
I wanna downgrade from miui 11 v11.0.1.0 (QEDMIXM) Global stable to Miui11 V 11.0.7.0 (PEDMIXM) global stable, is it safe to downgrade without hardbrick? Secondly, I checked, both roms have ARB level 4 protection. Need your expert advise before going to downgrade.
Thanks in advance

Please I'm running Android 10 on my Xiaomi Mi max 3 but I want to install Lineage Os version 9 custom rom, Can the downgrade work?

Anyone running an Android Q GSI with Magisk installed?

Anyone running an Android Q GSI with Magisk installed? If so, can you send me the version number and region (Global, China, China Dev) of the stock ROM you are coming from? What GSI are you running and what steps did you take?
I can get Magisk to install with Xiaomi EU, but I prefer to use Pixel Experience Q. The fingerprint sensor works in almost all GSIs now, but I really need to get Magisk working so I can run ANX Camera. When I install any version of Magisk via zip or patched images I get a loop at the Mi logo. If I patch recovery I can boot into the GSI, but Magisk is not showing as installed.
Any alternate methods to get ANX Camera installed would be greatly appreciated as well. I actually don't do much with root access.
hmm

You need an A/B rom, but you can use the Treble Info app on any phone if you are ever unsure. I'm under the impression that any phone shipped with Android 9 or higher should use A/B roms because it should be system as root. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.
