Hi
It seems to be a hardware problem. You can try a factory reset or another ROM and check if you still have it, but it appears to be some HW issue

I did factory reset from recovery menu.
Did not help.
Other ROM? I have to wait a week to unlock bootloader...
Two days ago there was an update to MIUI 11.0.6.0.
I have restored to factory settings.
Works for now.
Interestingly, the update didn't helpit's. Only fine after the reset. Was some application guilty?
Or... with increased use of resources comes a hardware problem.

Hmm yes that's interesting
At least now the phone works as expected ?
If you ever encounter the bug again, try caching a logcat we can then discriminate the root cause.

I have the same problem, restart few times works sometimes

The issue still exists. Just after factory reset the problem occurs less often.
In my case it is rather a hardware problem.
I will change the software to unofficial tomorrow.
Thank you so much i didn't know about the logcat.

No problem!
You can also try disabling some options and maybe find the culprit, do you have double tape to wake or face unlock enabled enabled?

These options are disabled. Hardware damage.
Thanks.

Nope. This in not a HW issue, but a SW one. Try with factory reset first.
Thank you. I tried everything. The problem is here from the begining since B111. Tried all the stock roms and some custom. The probl remains and is very anoyng. And is random not going with a pattern.
If you have other advice will ne most apreciated.
May be you have installed an application that keeps your phone awake. Make a fresh ROM install, disable all synchronisations and check again. There are few apps that could help in finding what is keeping device awake.

HTC 10 - Random Restart

So this is the second HTC 10 wherein I encountered my device randomly restarting for no apparent reason. There are occasions where I would just be browsing or listening to music, then all of a sudden, the device would freeze and restart. Once it reboots, it would ask me to send an error report for the Android System. The first device ran on 1.80 (latest firmware), the replacement ran on the initial firmware. On both instances, the device would encounter the exact same issue.
Is this hardware / software related? Is this a known issue. I tried to look for solutions online (and I've raised an HTC Elevate Ticket), but still no update.
Anyone else encountering the same problem?

SD card formatted as internal storage? Is the SD card reported as missing after reboot?
Yes. I figured out what's causing it. It only occurs when I am on a 4G network in a specific location. Phone doesn't have any issue when connected to a 4G network at home or if I switch to 2G/3G Auto.
So I'm not sure if that is hardware or software related.

Screen flickers randomly (help please?)

Hey guys,
My screen keeps turning on randomly, and keeps turning off and on while using my phone
I was on havoc OS and it happened when I moved to Nitrogen OS. I tried clean installing multiple ROMs and now on AEX. I tried stock and vantom kernels. Nothing seems to be working. Any idea what's wrong and how to fix it?
P.S. its not a hardware issue. And it tends to happen more when I use heavy applications like pubg.
Would really appreciate the help x
Anyone?

If its happening on all ROMs even miui then it is a hardware problem
Use miflash to clean install miui without locking the BL to check.
If it still flickers then its a loose cable or something similar failing

edit: seems like i have to unlock the bootloader to install a different rom, will update in a week
Sounds like a major issue , after watching the video, 2 things I would try remove sim reboot then try, of still fails the ROM must be corrupt , I would reinstall/flash sounds like you tried a factory reset so thats what I would do
thank you for your response. I did remove the sim and factory reset but no change. Can I reeinstall without having the phone unlocked? or is that only possible with an unlocked phone and the fastboot thing?
edit: found out how to local update rom, going to that and see how it goes.
edit2: installed a new rom but the issue still persist.

you meant to say you just did a update? you will need unlocked bootloader I do believe but not positive if your going from stock to stock
I installed MIUI 13.0.3 with this method https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=1 but the same problem with the WIFI persist. If it was an software issue it should have fixed it right? so I'm thinking that it might be a hardware issue instead.

Did you mess up with any wifi or persist thingy?
update: I unlocked the phone and installed different rom versions with MiFlash.
I installed everything step by step following this guide for installing via fastboot https://c.mi.com/thread-1857937-1-0.html.
