Currently neither ginkgo nor willow have anti rollback. The anti rollback value for both devices is 1. Before flashing any other rom in future make sure to check rollback index or your device will be bricked. For now it's not an issue as all miui stock rom have same anti rollback value so you can switch from let's say chinese rom to the global one and so on.

I have just flashed fw_ginkgo_miui_GINKGO_20.7.16_7ea298f3e5_10.0 and arb is still 1, so you may play with A10 firmware and if necessary go back to Pie stable firmware with no arb issues.

they are different stuff. antirollback means MIUI only. if you in say miui 10 1.001 and you downgrade to miui 9 9.6.17.0 that will brick phone.. ARB3 and ARB4 ARB3 from miui 9 9.617.0 to 9.640 is ARB3
from miui 9 9.6.19.0 up till miui 10 1.0.2. is ARB4 you dont want to downgrade from 4 to 3.
magisk its totally safe.

Downgrade to an old xiaomi.eu rom without triggering Rollback Protection

Dears,
I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (Global) with
MIUI Global 9.5.19.0 on Android 8.1
--> so the Rollback Protection is ENABLED
and I would like to flash a xiaomi.eu ROM. Specifically I would like to downgrade the device to version MIUI 9.3 8.3.1 based on Android 7.1.
Is it safe? Can I proceed without triggering the rollback Protection?
Thanks in advance

its not safe. you can but you need to modify some files to make that particular rom version fwless.
search there are like 2 threads that tells you how to make rom FW-LESS

Downgrade redmi note 8 pro

I want to downgrade my redmi note 8 pro from miui 12 to miui 10.
my anti ver value is 1 and my rom and value 0 so should I proceed flashing or It will brick my mobile help please
If your bootloader is unlocked you can use MiFlash. There are loads of YouTube tutorials out there. Just go check. It's more helpful watching it on YouTube than asking something here.
I heard if I downgrade than my mobile will brick due to anti roll back policy my anti is 1

where's global rom? not yet?
Wait for the release of the poco F5 assuming that the roms are compatible with the redmi note 12 turbo.

Too early from what I can tell. Patiently waiting as well hehe.
I wouldn't be surprised to have to wait at least a month.

with Miflash or directly with the bat file?
So the Poco roms are not compatible with the 12 turbo.

I am using MiFlash. Haven't tried to use the bat files directly.
Seems that they are not compatible.
I will try to flash it a few more times, then back to official China ROM for now.

I see nothing to change on this file compared to the others, maybe an ARB problem, what is the version of the CN rom on the device?
Okay! Here's what I did to get it working!
When first flashing from Redmi Note 12 Turbo China ROM to Poco F5 EEA ROM, I used flash_all_lock.bat. This did not work. However, when I used MiFlash Unlock afterwards, then it booted!
Anyone trying this, please use the Flash_all.bat script or do what I did explained above.
At this point I can confirm that Poco F5 Global ROM works on Redmi Note 12 Turbo

You were lucky not to brick your device with Miflash using the flash_all_lock.bat file.
On a CN device always use the flash_all.bat file to flash a rom other than CN.

Lucky man,to have the play store certified you will have to root and use some magisk modules or install a Xiaomi Eu rom.
Poco F5 (global version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo) launched today. So just get that if you want a global ROM.

Yep, but you have to unlock the bootloader first then use Miflash.
Your phone will not be better with an EEA rom (rom for Europe), for example you will have a limited sound volume.
The best (in my humble opinion) are the Xiaomi Eu roms.
