Hello,
I'm in the same boat, A10 customized FR ROM flashed, but no volte enabled...
Orange FR carrier says XZ2 Compact is compatible with VOLTE/VOWIFI, but no options in the phone.
is it only available on Simple SIM version ?
I will travel to canada in a month, and Orange FR carriers write down you must have VOLTE working there.
A little help would be cool, thank you

Ok I may have found something.
First with unsin
looked at modem_X-FLASH-ALL-B6B5.bin from H8324 dual Customized FR compared to H8314 single Orange FW
there are identical.
all files in there are the same.
Then with unsin again, I looked at oem_X-FLASH-CUST-B6B5.bin files
In it there is a "modem-config" folder.
Comparing those, there are inside some folders with "modem.conf" files.
There is a lot more sub folders in Orange FW version than in Customized FR FW.
the only matching one has this difference :
Customized FR FW : mcfg_sw/generic/euro/orange/non_ims/fr/mcfg_sw.mbn
Orange FW : mcfg_sw/generic/euro/orange/vlvw/fr/mcfg_sw.mbn
I bet this change could enable the missings settings...
I will try to build a systemless magisk module to replace this modem-config folder inside the phone.
Just need to find where is it located inside the rom.
Should not be difficult.
We'll see if it does the trick.

Need help - SM-G960U1 Jio VOLTE not working

Hey Guys,
I am from India. And I got an S9 gift from USA.
Jio volte doesn't work on the phone.
After intensive research I concluded I need to flash a stock indian firmware for Jio Volte to work. (There could be a better way I am not aware of)
My phone model is SM-G960U1 and on SAMmobile No Indian firmware is available for this model.
This is a Snapdragon Phone. Single Sim.
Please guide me. What firmware/process should I follow to have Jio Volte work on the phone.
Thanks in advance
I am facing the same issue since a few months now. I did try a few different firmwares without any luck. Were you able to get a solution to this?

I am also desperate to make my T Mobile US S9 work in India with Jio. I don't see any detailed threads for S9. I see steps given only for S8 to enable VOLTE in a US snapdragon based phones.
Apparently, there is no solution available to this problem so far. Sadly we can't flash any CSC outside of USA just yet. The problem is two fold, Indian S9/S9+ variant is a dual sim version with exynos processor whereas, the US variant is single sim, Snapdragon based device. Moreover there are only a bunchful of users like us so the likelihood of getting any future support from Samsung devs is very less

Until or Unless we change salescode.dat to INS and flash indian csc file , we cannot get volte in our phone. i had same issue with my s8 us variant but with engboot i had change my salescode to "INS" but for s9 it has patched and we cannot change country code without any additional permissions

Can you please confirm is with One UI ? Because I remember I've red it will be Samsung Experience, not One UI.

If you are wanting to get pie good but it this time I don't think twrp Support pie.
Last twrp update was in 2018 and none of updates on it mentions supporting pie rooting likely will not work until twrp is updated.

The said region "SEK - Ukraine (Kyivstar)" is part of the multi-OXM CSC firmware linked in the first post. You do not have to do anything special. Simply flash it using Odin (Refer to the instructions in the OP).

[RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP for Galaxy S10+ G975N Korean variant ONLY

For G975N there are 3 Android Q firmware versions released by samsung as BSKO, BSL7, and BTA4 from old to newest.
Only kernel source of BSKO is released currently (2020-03-01) which you can find here: https://opensource.samsung.com/uploadSearch?searchValue=g975n
This recovery image is built based on kernel BSKO (G975NKSU3BSKO) and it works with BTA4 firmware so it should work with all these 3 firmware versions.
Note: This image is not Magisk patched yet, if you need magisk to be installed in recovery partition you'd have to patch this image yourself first.
How to use it?

The G97xF version works on G97xN too no need for this thread.
The ones meant for F/FD Variants work on N devices. The only differences are some radio bands and CSC. plus the N Variant being sold as a single sim only just like the F.
Thanks though
long time ago I tried the twrp but not working for my g975n, so I thought it's still not supported.
could you delete this post @admin? thanks.
Thanks for this amazing work !

Via custom roms based on ONEUI with patched system and kernel. yes.
Via ODIN, you'd have to do some patching else it won't boot.
Can't exactly remember, but I had an N variant before.

Question LE2120 Chinese variant has Indian FIrmware ((LE15 DA). Is it possible to change it to global firmware?

I got my 9 pro yesterday and it has indian firmware which i don't like. Is it possible to change it to global one. I'm on 11.2.5.5.
Also is it possible to use msm tool for Indian variant on this handset?
Thnx. Really hoping to get some answers
It should be, you should be able to download the global firmware from OPTeam's list of them and just flash in local update.
Yes, you can.
The only problem is 11.2.5.5 is too new, there is no full upgrade package yet. You can try flash an older global version rom, but with the risk of brick your phone. Through I think worst could happen is you have to wipe your phone.
You can find download link for global rom in this thread.
Q: How do I switch to Europe or Global OS?
A: Wait for the new version, download the #Full package and Local Update it. If you have Magisk installed, you can try to Local Update after entering the following command (need ROOT access).
resetprop ro.build.date.utc 1400000000

That's my case too.
I'm also in the 11.2.5.5 Indian SW.
So it's better to wait for a Global 11.2.5.5 or newer to flash over it? Right? It's not necessary to erase all data?
Does someone know what are the benefits from Global over the Indian? It seems that OnePlus is giving more attention to Indian market (updates, features, etc)

From what I can tell, there is no discernable difference in the firmware other than bloat directed at the Indian market. I'm also on LE2120 in the U.S. running the DA firmware. Everything on my device is fully functional as far as WiFi, 5G connectivity and all that. I debloated all the Indian specific bloat (red cable club, cloud storage and the like, especially since it doesn't work here in the States). I expect you can flash other regions firmware without issue or data loss so long as the other regions firmware is "newer" than what you're already on, otherwise it simply won't let you using local upgrade.
I'm also on LE2120 in the UAE running out of box coloros, then downgraded to the DA firmware, today I have updated to Global 11.2.5.5 . Everything on my device is fully functional except 5G (ETISALAT) and Invalid VIP NV's:2500 at every restart

Question No Indian Operators 5G support on any Custom ROM (RMX3360)

Hi, I have tried all the custom ROMs here on XDA for RMX3360 (Indian Variant) but none of them supports either of Indian 5G operators (Jio & Airtel). Though all ROM's have option to select 5G networks in settings but none of them sees Jio or Airtel 5 networks even in manual search nor let me connect to either. I have both operators with 5G working on stock ROM. Can any developer please add support for Indian 5G operators to their Custom ROM. I loved the clean stock feeling of Custom ROM's but no 5G is a deal breaker.
Or else, since 5G works on stock ROM can anyone guide as to how to extract specific files for 5G support from stock ROM and add them to any Custom ROM. I am technically sound so should be able to do it with some guidance.
Just for FYI, even stock ROM didnt work on 5G till update C10, from C11 update 5G support was added for Indian operators. So I guess C11 update is what needs to be checked and integrated into Custom ROM
Does any costum rom support 5g
Why is it that 5g not working on costum rom
Elixir Rom supports 5G only on Sim 1
