sorry to drop noob questions.
i've used many devices with custom roms before. And it's the first time i am using device with dual partition A/B.
Simple questions here. I've setup everything on my device with latest POSP rom. And to flash this kernel, do i need to change slot?
which slot should i use?
active/non-active slot (currently i am on B)?
and can i just flash kernel without wipe anything?
thanks in advance.

Just flash the kernel and Magisk (if you've rooted and want retain Magisk) in TWRP, and reboot. No change of slots needed.

i've rooted my device with magisk, and already installed some modules.
is it fine to flash kernel?
dunno, i just too afraid to flash kernel due to this a/b partition.

so i need to re-flash magisk again?
will that affecting my modules?
or is it okay to flash kernel only without re-flashing magisk?

These problems are known but aren't related to the kernel in this case. the camera hal that we use is kinda f***** since YUV processing is enabled so unless we find someone that knows how to fix this it will remain broken

Until a solution to the Setup Wizard crash is found yes.
By the way, I'm not 100% sure it's a ROM problem.
Would you mind try using these GApps https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-dynamic-gapps-t3487192 to see if the SW still crashes?

I'm just sorry that they are really two beautiful Rom (Cosmic-HexagonOS), but the fact that there is no Offline Charging and a big problem because I jump the battery ... and for this reason I do not install it
I agree. I didn't tried it too because the thing I'm looking for isn't working (radio fm). It's actually the only thing that's keeping me from moving to nougat.
I've searched the rom on Google and it looks nice. It's actually pretty to have so many nougat roms to try and see which one's fit for us.
Any lead on how to fix radio fm? Apparently, it's not kernel related.
bug RIL and Offline Charging
Even with the RIL FIX installed
Okay this has been down for some time since that initial beta build. Sorry for the delay.
Fixed the video and audio playback issues and updated kernel to include latest changes from @Thargorsson.
I will update the OP, links and instructions soon.
Instructions:
* Flash Rom zip
* Flash the audio fix.
* Flash magisk zip.
REBOOT.
Note: I recommend microG. Use opengapps if you wish.
IMPORTANT: After reboot set up everything and download kernel auditor and configure the Hotplugs and CPU Governor.
Use 'Ondemand' as CPU Governor and disable all or use just one of the Hotplugs (Either MPDecison or MSM Hotplug)
Now you are good to go.
PS: Report any bugs with a logcat and note that flashing any custom mods or using any custom themes are your choice.

Did that intentionally. If you cab use microG, use that. If you can't live without GApps then use pico.

From experience.. this is a good kernel, brings out the best on M1 pro. Keep going!!
This kernel is stable, and, it has F2FS support (with R/W fully working).
With ros 8.10.x (sgsi by oleg polisen) azure has good battery backup!

Point 1 :- Interactive is the best if u can tune properly, if u find it hard, simply set to schedutil, tune with
20,000 up and 500 down
Point 2 :- 300mhZ will cause audio distortion + not useful
Enjoy..!!

Sadly after flashing it WiFi it's not working (not turning on, Havoc OS ROM) I'll try to delete cache and that stuff and try again
Hey man. Great work with the kernel. So far everything works great. Just that Westwood TCP congestion is not present is the current version of the kernel. Would be great if you could update it on the next version.
New update
Changelog:
Msm performance can now be disabled
Many commits that improve cpu-boost driver
Merged last derferlot kernel commits
Merged last version of wireguard
Enabled ulps on all pannel model (much better battery life when screen is off)
Force wlan module to load ( it fix some wifi error in some older build of bliss and havoc)
Many more tweaks and fixes

DragonHeart Kernel for OP7 Series is a no-nonsense CAF rebased kernel striving to achieve balancing in terms of battery life and performance.
/* Features */

* Compiled with EvaGCC 12.0.0 and linked with LLD 13.0.0
* Architecture specific micro-optimizations included
* -O3 optimization flags used throughout the kernel
* Store motion pass enabled for GCSE for lower hackbench scores
* RELR relocation packing for smaller image produced
* Simple_LMK, A custom low memory killer by kerneltoast
* Most efficient frequency table and optimized energy model for lower power consumption and better performance
* WALT scheduling mechanism with backports from RenderBroken and CAF
* devfreq_boost to boost DDR bus on custom events
* cpu_input_boost to boost CPU frequencies on custom events
* kprofiles to manage boosting on custom events depending on the mode set
* F2FS Rapid GC to allow maximum blocks to be discarded on low power consumption
* Zswap for better memory management
* Srandom for better random read/write performance
* BBR enabled optionally for users who crave for better network latency
* cleaned up touch and fod driver for better touch responsiveness and faster fod unlocking
* Global timeout for wakelocks
/* Where to report bugs */
* Join my telegram group and contact me there with logs ( dmesg / pstore / logcat )
/* Things to note before flashing */
* This kernel supports only non-sdcardfs roms at the date of writing this post (11/11/2021)
* This kernel does not support OOS (which uses sdcardfs) at the date of writing this post (11/11/2021)
* Even if this kernel supports OOS, it may not support OOS for 7T series unless explicitly declared so
* This kernel does not have FOD changes for A12 yet as it seems to break FOD on A11
* This kernel has some extra features that need to be tweaked (kprofiles/auto_kprofiles)
so join the telegram group for more information on it
* You can choose to stay on release candidate builds or bleeding edge builds aswell, all builds are posted on my channel
* You can also setup OTA updates in Franco's Kernel Manager (more on that here)
/* Flashing instructions */
* Flash the kernel through TWRP or any kernel manager apps
* default kprofiles mode is battery mode, but you can change it to balanced, normal or performance, just join the telegram group and do #kprofiles for more info on that

Okay so there are 4 profiles, called normal(0), battery,(1) balanced(2) and performance(3). Battery mode is set as default you can switch it by changing the number in the sysfs node itself. Its more convenient with FKM or smartpack but it can be done with termux by doing su -c 'echo <number> > /sys/module/kprofiles/parameters/mode' do lmk if you face any problems with changing profiles.

Nice touch on battery saver - I like a one button change in CPU stepping. Overnight sleep speeds (doze) and battery saver.
