Phone reboots during games - Redmi Note 8 Pro Questions & Answers

The phone randomly reboots when I play HayDay. I thought that there may be a problem with the phone's gpu but I haven't encountered any problems with any other games. Has anyone experienced some similar problem? Any suggestions?

Hmm it may be an software glitch if anything. I know sometimes while playing Spotify and doing other things for some odd reason the system basically crashes and does a soft reboot (goes black and goes back to lock screen and requires me to input pass code). Maybe a similar thing happens with that particular app.

play keeps rebooting randomly

Hey lads.
Can anyone tell me why my Xperia play keeps randomly rebooting?it happens nearly everyday and usually happens when I close a program while closing the slider at the same time.it's like switching from landscape to portrait while opening or closing a program is too much
Is it possible that I need more ram.50% of my ram is free so I'm not sure.does anyone else have this problem?
I have exactly the same problem. My Xperia Play is constantly rebooting when I close the slider, and like you say, it seems to have something to do with overloading the phone's memory. If I have the phone in portrait and then close it and turn it to landscape (as you would naturally do when moving from a using the gamepad to using the phone normally) it reboots more often than not.
Worryingly, it even does this during the boot up sequence (when you see the Sony Ericsson logo) if I open and close the slider a few times. So that would suggest to me it's not a RAM issue...as during the boot sequence, no apps will be loaded into memory?
I know someone else who has a XP and they've experienced the same issue.
No idea why this should happen, perhaps it will be solved with 4.0?

razer freezing

2-3 times the phone has totally freezed for me so I had to restart it, same on my brother's razer. Anyone else having this problem.
I've had a few random freezes too. Mostly while in the Facebook app. Although all buttons became unresponsive.

Facebook isn't exactly the most stable right now. If I try to use the market page, guaranteed to freeze up and crash.
Happened to me today as well. Google framework supposedly crashed which caused a system wide freeze. Had to reboot the phone.
I couldn't say I've seen it freezing on me however it has randomly rebooted a few time so maybe have not seen it freeze up but when I went back to it the phone had restarted itself.
My Razer phone freezes 1-2 times a day. Sometimes I'm using the phone, and it gets unresponsive except for the lock-button, but I can never unlock the phone after that. Sometimes it just wont unlock.
Every time this happens I have to restart the phone.
I've had a couple random restarts as well..
After getting such a freeze it would be cool if you could go to Settings->Developer Settings->get bug report->Full bug report.
That will generate a zip which can be used for debugging. If someone uploads it, I can take a look.
After the latest update my phone will randomly lock up. The screen will go blank and the phone will just turn off. Yeah..
I have 2 issues I can't pin down that might be related:
1. Roughly 1 in 4 times I launch anything on Netflix (I only watch downloaded offline stuff), the phone will freeze and then instantly reboot. I'm not sure what causes it to make it reproducible, but after the reboot it's always fine. Haven't had issue with vlc.
2. So today I noticed more than usual the sound in the headphones (attached via the jack dongle) cutting out. Previous fix was to pull out dongle and reinsert and it was fine. This time no joy, in fact moving the dongle while the sound was working resulted in crazy distortion and when I tried to reboot I got a freeze.
In both cases the dongle might have been the culprit. Would be interested to see if others are freezing while using a dongle or not.
I have issues with IG freezing up pretty hard.
I have the same Netflix issue than you and it's very frustrating. The only thing that seems to slow this phone down is the thing it specialises in.. Netflix hdr hmmmm

For me snapchat freezez my phone temporary
Has anyone experiencing the unresponsive screen / freezing problems with the Razer phone (first phone) found a solution that prevents the freezing from recurring?
Rebooting the phone via the Volume up + Power buttons will restart the phone, but that is not a fix of the core issue.

Galaxy S20+ Sound stutter/lag when screen is off

Hi,
If I'm playing a song or in a call and turn the screen off, the sound starts to stutter/lag immediately and starts to work find as soon as the screen is turned on. This happens with any app that is playing music/sound.
I have NOT updated my phone recently and I'm in the latest software update (Android 10).
This issue started suddenly and I'm not sure if it's something from the settings or what.
Disabling the "Optimise Battery Usage" for apps such as YouTube Music, Spotify, Messenger and WhatsApp did NOT solve the issue and the sound stuttering still occur when using these apps while the screen is off.
Restarting the phone did not resolve the issue.
This issue occurs while the phone is charging as well.
Any suggestion of how to resolve this issue? Anything apart from Factory Reset.
Also, my device is NOT rooted.
Thanks in advance!

Question Random System Crash When Connecting to an External Display

So I play a lot of games on my phone, whether it's an emulator, xCloud, Minecraft, or something else, I usually prefer to connect my device to my TV to more comfortably play. However recently I've been running into a bug on my OnePlus 9 Pro. (T-Mobile Version unfortunately). Here is where I'm at, every time I plug my phone into a TV, it freezes and crashes. Just like that. It worked for a while and then randomly stopped (I hadn't downloaded anything new or updated anything yet). I did download the newest firmware and still experienced the crash. I have switched the resolution, adjusted the frame rate, turned off Desktop Mode, and even did a factory reset. Still crashing at this point. Has anyone experienced this and figured out a cause or a fix? I am already on my second device from T-Mobile for this issue (exact same experience) so any help is appreciated.

restarts when watching full screen content(twitch,yt,etc) on apps and swiping down notifications(one ui 4)

the phone just straight up crashes and restarts when I'm watching anything(twitch,yt etc) and swipe down to open notification panel....this happens a lot but not all the time
thats not even the biigest problem...whenever the phone crashes/restarts some apps just dont open amd stay on the apps splash screen like instagram , galaxy store, pokemon go etc. they just stay stuck on the splash screen and refuse to open until i manually restart the phone again
is the problem just happening with me ?
have anyone else experienced anything similar?
thats not the biggest issue...the biggest issue I've been facing the beta ithes that whenever
