Is Moto one action support Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 or Moto turbo charge? Can any one explain this

It supports neither. It's 10w charging, 5v/2A

Tronsmart 33w dual port type c quick charge 3.0

I recently bought tronsmart type c quick charge 3.0 wall charger for my htc 10. But its not quick charging my htc 10. When i connect same charger with lg g5, it shows fast charging.
Help me solve this problem. Why htc is not quick charging although tronsmart charger supports QC 3.0
Do you use the included cable from htc? Or are you using a type c to type c cable? Qc 3.0 only seems enabled on the type a connector. I think this is for all Qc enable equipment.
I am using type c to type c cable
But lg g5 shows quick charge on same cable whereas htc 10 just shows only charging
Yes, it does show quick charge with original htc charger.

Is Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 supported on the OnePlus 3?

Hi guys,
Just a simple question... Is Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 supported on the OnePlus 3?
I know there is Dash Charge (which is great), but I have a powerbank which supports Quick Charge 2.0...
I want to know if it wil charge faster than a regular 5V/1A USB port.
Thx!
Same problem here, would like to know this too. Can anyone with a OP3 try and let us know the different charging times with a normal charger, QC QC2.0 and Dash charger?
Sent from my LG-H955 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I don't have a Quick Charge charger, but with another charger the OP3 pulls around 1.5 A @ 5V = 7.5 W from it. This is the USB compliant amount i think.
I don't think that the OP3 supports any version of Quick Charge... But with a capable charger (non-Dash) it's pretty quick, too! In my car it gains fairly quickly, even though i'm navigation with google maps and i don't have a Dash-Charge car charger! With previous phones (LG G3 for example) the phone even LOST battery capacity while being plugged in!
Normal 5V 2.4A Charger: 1.5A @ 5V
5V 3A Quick Car Charger (for Nexus 5X/6p): 1.5A @ 5V
Quick Charge 2.0 Wall Charger: 1.5A @ 5V... you're beginning to get the idea...
Dash Charge Wall Charger: 3.5A @ 5V
And I tried a genuine 5V 1A iphone charger, 0.5A @ 5V

This.
Just did the test by myself with the 'Ampere' app.
Battery was at 55%.
Dash Charge: 3330 mA
Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Charger: 1420 mA
PC USB Port: 380 mA
My Nexus 6 charges at 2050 mA when connected to the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Charger.
Is it in some way possible to 'tweak' the OP3 so it can take 2000 mA when connected to a QC 2.0 charger?
I'm using ElementalX kernel btw.
OP3 is not quickcharge compatible so when connected to a quickcharge charger, the charger is in normal mode at 5V with a maximum of intensity that depend on the charger.
BUT the OP3 have only 3 charging step, one at 5V 0.5A, one at 5V 1.5A and then 5V 3.5A only if it's connected to a dash charger with a dash cable (or a oppo vooc with an adapter).
So for example, you connect to a 5V 1A charger, it will charge at 0.5V, like on a computer. But if it can draw 1.5A, it will do it but not above that unless a dash charger.
I tried many charger and it will not charge at another intensity.

Quick Charge ???

So..........anyone know if it's Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 or something else? I found one report that claims it's QC3, but not sure of their source. Not sure if anyone saw any "hands on" videos where they were able to ask Google about it.

Don't know for sure, but I was curious and searched for info on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 that the Pixels use. The 821 does support quickcharge 3.0 so chances are the Pixels will use it.
https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/821
EDIT: Well reading this https://plus.google.com/+BensonLeung/posts/GnjQBqAovnD it looks like Qualcomm quickcharge is not used, but instead they use the USB-C fast charging standard. " I would really prefer if they had mentioned Power Delivery, instead of "Type-C quick charging" which could be misconstrued as Qualcomm's proprietary tech. The Pixels do not use proprietary technology to charge. They use standard USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery."
Tried to post last night, but couldn't. As mentioned above, it uses USB-PD, and not qc 3.0. Many argue USB-PD > QC 3.0.
When I use a Qualcomm QC3 charger with my Pixel C, it rapid charges. QC3 supports a 5v3a 15w charge, which is the Pixel C's USB PD requirement. As QC3 scales its voltage and amperage, it's likely QC3 chargers will support USB PD at 18w too.
(I havent gotten it working the other way around, for example, the USB PD charger rapid charging my HTC 10 that uses quick charge.)

USB-C Charger

I use a 'Dell AC Battery Charger Adapter USB-C470-ABSF Dell 45W 20V 2.25A' for charging my laptop. Can i also use this charger for the LG V20?
I'm using the one from my Asus Chromebook.
Somebody knows which QC 3.0 charger is compatible with the LG V20?
JuiceBitz in the UK...
Their v3.0 23W charging brick, along with their USB A-C cables work fine with my newly aquired V20.
My V20 charging doesn't slow down if I have a 'normal' USB 2 lead charging another device in the other slot either...
Sony UCH12W will work. I also use Ugreen Quick Charge 3.0 charger. It works fine
I have one Quick Charge 3.0 charger (poweradd) and one USB PD (iclever), and (according to systempanel2) they all charge at about the same rate. Max ~1 A while the screen in on (usually throttled at ~500 mA, I'm using a modified thermal config file), and ~3 A while the screen is off. So your 2.25 A charger should work fine, just won't be quite as fast as a QC 3.0 or PD charger.

Replacement wall charger with TurboPower

https://www.androidcentral.com/moto-g5-plus notes Charging - Micro-USB - 15W TurboPower charge
https://republicwireless.com/phones/moto-g5-plus/ offers the Ventev Wallport rq2300 Wall Charger for $30 (no proof of TurboPower)

Has any purchased a wall charger that works with TurboPower?
Turbopower is Qualcomm's QC 3.0...
Any adapter that supports it will work fine...
Anker is my go to brand for everything charging..

Thanks for the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 information. :good:
Do you have the Anker 18W USB Wall Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016LO4UTA/ in hand? I am trying to get hands-on validation vs theory.
I rather not spend $25 https://www.amazon.com/forum/-/Tx3AP6362WYWF2K/ref=ask_dp_dpmw_al_hza?asin=B071HYYB4P "Another 15W QC3.0 certified charger could supply TurboPower to the Moto G5 Plus We don't want to definitively state there is not an equivalent charger to this one for the G5 Plus, but there should not be a superior alternative as this charger was specifically developed for the G5 Plus."

I use that same anker charger and it works the same as the original turbopower.
Also, any good micro-usb cable will work also. Some old cables may or may not work.

actually for the g5 and g5 plus it is only QC 2.0 but QC is backwards compatible and 3.0 will also work

That is correct. My mistake.
The point I was trying to make is that turbopower is not something specific to Motorola, just an industry standard in disguise.

Does anyone have a Quick Charge 2.0 wall charger in hand to confirm it charges with TurboPower? If yes, what is the model #?
I rather spend less money on a Quick Charge 2.0 wall charger than a 3.0 since the use case is to charge at the office. Ex. $10 for the SPN5864B

as i once wrote here https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/accessories/chargers-t3584554
this charger http://www.gearbest.com/iphone-cables-adapters/pp_322054.html does turbocharge the g5 plus without issues
I have multiple QC2 and 3 chargers around the house, and they all work fine
they always will because TurboCharge is just rebranded QuickCharge
SPN5864A = success!
I purchased a SPN5864A Wall Charger with a SKN6461A usb cable for $7.49 USD on ebay - LINK
"Motorola DROID Turbo 1.6 Amp Rapid Home Wall Charger SPN5864A - Super Fast Rapid Charging Charger - 15W of power - 1.6 Amp charger. Will charge Motorola devices with Adaptive TURBO Charging technology built in at an even faster rate! "
While the lock screen did not show the words fastcharge or turbocharge; AccuBattery did show the night and day difference. Screen caps of the old 463 millamps (mA) vs new SPN5864A charger 1989 mA pasted below.
Guess I'll go with the SPN5864B
Any Samsung charger for one of their last 3 or 4 flagships should work just fine. I literally have a bag of Samsung chargers from the S5 and S7 that all have the same ratings and work to Turbo charge the G5 Plus just fine. I use the Samsung charger at home and leave the Turbo Charger at the office.
I have a Asus Zenfone 2 18w charger (9v 2a, 5v 2a) and turbopower works perfectly when charging the G5 plus with it (got around 2400mah readings on Ampere app). Just in case anyone has one laying around, it's an option.
We use these around the house and for travel and they all work as you would expect.

I have a Tronsmart 5 port desk charger and a one port mini car charger, both with QC 2.0, both charge stupidly fast, both are awesome (just now, like half an hour ago, I plugged in my phone. at 14%, been watching YouTube all the time at full brightness, 60% charge).
I can add links to the chargers if someone wants, I'm just too lazy to do it right now.
The Samsung adaptive fast charging brick works for me
Huawei FCP Adapter - Huawei own variation of QC 2.0 also Turbo Charge G5 Plus.
Just ordered Xiaomi 10000 Power Bank 2 link --> https://www.gearbest.com/power-banks/pp_492337.html?vip=4087096 <-- and Turbo Charge works fine as well.
I bought a genuine SPN5864A on eBay for 7$. It has performed as intended since I received it.
