Where can I find the original software? In the samsung mob site seems that there is not the one for my conuntry, mkay I choose a different one?

There are plenty of websites to get OS. Most popular is probably samfirmware but download speed sucks. I know a workaround but I'm gonna post solution later

Wherever I went, I can't find the original fw. I tried with the fw of a different country and a different carrier, but it doesn't work.
I'm looking for SM-A505 GN/DS where can I find it?
John

Have you tried Samsung's smart switch for reflash the stock firmware?
Edit: Sammobile.com has gn version firmware too!

I saw the gn version on the Sammobile.com, but no one is for my country. I'm looking for the DS one. Any other suggestions?

It's a tool for repair and backup your firmware! It's able to reflash stock os like the old Samsung Kies.
Some sites where I found the mentioned device's rom.

I had the same situation!
Use Kies:
Tools > Emergency Firmware Restore
and wait for it
It will download around 700mb and flash your device with stock firmware, and all needed files.

I am in a similar situation where Kies does not recognize my device so I am downloading the stock firmware and will use Odin to see if that works.
galaxy tab 3 8.0
I was deleting applications on my tablet the other night and i accidentally deleted the os. i have used kies, and kies 3 to try to do a firmware recovery, but, it did not work. i dont know what to do and i would really like some help haha. any tips??
^^^^^^ like he said ^^^^^^^
Go to SamMibile, find your device, choose your country and download. then flash through Odin. Sam Mobile even gives you a link to that.
can you shut the device down (hold the power button for a really long time)? if not let the battery die, then fully charge it. Then enter download mode (press and hold volume down, home and power button at the same time) then when it says to, volume up.
Once in download mode you should be able to use Odin to flash your stock firmware
I have my Tab 3 in download mode "Downloading" Screen, and tried Odin and Kies and cannot connect. What version did you use to connect? Thanks for your help.

[Q] Note 2

Hi
I have a Note 2 (international GT-N7100) that does not start. It shows a firmware upgrade error (attached) when i switch it on. I can only enter download mode (attached). I am being told the phone suffered SDS but in download mode you can still see the product name (attached). Prior to the problem i have never been rooted or had a custom ROM installed. It simply rebooted one day all by itself and when booting showed the upgrade error
I have tried re flashing via Odin in everyday possible, including the PIT file. All methods fail. A friend as said the bootloader is corrupt. I tried re flashing that but also no luck.
Is there a way of using an external SD card to get up and running? Or any other ideas out there.
Thanks and much appreciated.

You're using the wrong version of Kies, Kies 3 is for the Note 3 and devices made after it. Try downloading the original Kies http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/#none

Since your Knox counter is still untripped, I'd recommend contacting Samsung as I'm pretty sure the SDS has no software fix.

Hey have you tried Odin 3v1.87 I know that the partition error is very common on the later Odin clients.
Also make sure to uninstall Kies before using Odin as it nearly always interferes.

Help with bootloop

Hi Folks
I recently flashed a custom ROM, after the initial setup I wanted to reboot into recovery mode from the ROM menu,
the device turned off and booted again, after the Note 2 logo I could only see the navigation bar from the CWM recovery
for a second and then went dark and booted again and the same happened again: Boot loop...
I pulled the battery and tried to get into recovery with the three button method, same again, boot loop
Next, I tried to get into download mode and the same happened here, the note 2 start logo, navigation bar, black, and reboot...
I thought about flashing a bootloader, but as I'm not able to go into recovery mode it's not possible...
Is there another fix for this or is this a classic brick...
Try flashing the latest stock ROM using Odin. This will require the phone to remain in download mode for Odin to flash it.

To force the phone into download mode, you could try using a usb jig. They are cheap from eBay: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Fix-Unbrick...sacat=0&_nkw=Usb+jig&LH_BIN=1&_from=R40&rt=nc
The same jig works on the s3, note 1, note 2, s4, etc.

Is there anyone who can help me fix my a52? It has null imei after numerous reflashes, wifi work, just cellular is not working. I read about broken EFS unfortunately I dont have it backed up, is there a way to extract it from phone and repartition it to fix the cellular? One chinese person who messaged me offered me help, then asked 150 for the fix when I told him I would think about it he tried something on my device, he then ghosted my messages.
I read somewhere that tools like chimera can help fix this?

There are some tools that can repair the IMEI, one called IMEI repair tool, it doesn't require any fee: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...YQFnoECAgQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2-FpI_TTLca34H7AA0RHpQ
I don't know if it works or not because I never had a case where i had to repair my IMEI. Give it a try
