Clean Guide [easy] to flash Custom ROM on Moto G6 Play [aljeter XT1922-4] (w/Magisk)? - Moto G6 Play Questions & Answers

I have been around many threads, forums and videos, but I really feel confused to flash my Moto G6 w/ a custom ROM.
I have seen that I could install custom roms with android 8, 9 and also 10. The thing is, that information feels to be spreaded in pieces and makes it very confusing.
1. I know of course, you can flash a Custom ROM in Moto G6 Play, with android 8 and 9.
2. I know there's also a few ways to flash android 10.
3. I know it has been hard to put all this information in one place.
4. There are few custom roms tested as in this link.
What do I have to do exactly if I want android 10, in my moto g6 play with root?
What does GSI really means?
Also, I have stock android 9 and root.

Possible to Flash Q Rom made for Moto G5S Plus (sanders) on Moto z2 play (Albus)?

After scattering through a tonne of content on the internet and flashing multiple ROMs on my moto z2 play, I found AOSP extended GSI of android PIE and I am using it right now as my daily driver. It works 9/10 Anyone can daily drive it as long as you are not concerned about passing SafetyNet. However, while I was digging for some ROM that would officially support my z2 play(albus), I noticed one thing that Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a lot of support amongst custom roms. I may be missing some points cause I haven't been into flashing roms since some years now and I recently came back to the whole scene but is there a way that I can run a Custom rom (like Evolution X) on my albus using the build meant for Motorola Moto G5 Plus? Both of these phones have extremely similar specs and dimensions. z2 play was launched on 2017 June and Motorola Moto G5 Plus was launched on 2017 Feb.

According to this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/z2-play/how-to/updated-guide-project-treble-gsi-t4063193
you can flash ANY GSI into the Z2 Play as long as they met these requirements:
1. Rom arch is arm64
2. Rom partition scheme is aonly
Most custom roms do not specify which partition scheme uses, in this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/z2...droid-q-gsi-moto-z2-play-albus-t4066945/page2 the user @saibharath1319 mentions he succesfully installed Pixel Experience Plus Android 10 GSI with KVT 2.4 "without any major issues besides ambient display not working.

What he is asking and what your telling mate?? even i was searching for the same question moto g5 plus has tremendous support and both the devices are totally identical ? can someone give it a try?
Bro do you even read? The short answer is no, you can't simply flash sanders ROMs or any other, to albus. Unless they are GSI's.
If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about. Then google it.
If you are coming from Stock Pie Update make sure you use the modem file (non-HLOS.bin) from Stock Oreo because the modem from Stock Pie has audio issues with custom ROMs.

new user of mi mix 2

Hi all! As I mention it, I just bought this cellphone completely new (it is the one that best suited my budget in my country) I had a Lenovo a6020 so I'm not so lost in the custom roms and modifications. How I said the is new so it has android 7, I already unlocked the boot and I have twrp in the latest version but I don't know if from android 7 (miui) I can jump directly to PE + 10. I have read but can't find if you need a previous version. Taking advantage of the theme and I hope it does not break the rules I will like to know if this rom (pixel expierence) incorporates a version of gcam, If not, which version do you recommend, or is the official camera better? Thank you all! Excuse my lousy English, I'm still learning
@c510k
See firmware xda thread from link below to update to latest firmware and flash firmware when you flash your rom in custom recovery.

Question Future development for moto G60

I am looking to buy a new phone. My options right now are Redmi Note 10 pro and Moto G60
I want a stock android phone but am also looking at installing custom ROMs after the warranty date. Redmi Note 10 pro has extensive ROM support. So, once the kernel source code for this phone is released how good do you think the ROM development for tis will be?
I don't know the technical terms
I am new to this stuff
A dev said
Moto devices under sm6150, already have great rom development
Moto g40 and g60 also come under the same
So, 50%of the rom work is already done
Developers only need to tweak some settings here and there and release the rom
But as of now, HANOIP is facing Bootloader unlock issue, Moto said they are gonna fix it soon via an update
So, we can easily expect development but a little later, cause moto community is very small
Btw LIBER has already received A11 official P.E
I asked one of the developers. They said it might be slow coz this phone already runs on stock android
Yeah, it runs a stable A11 out of the box
So we don't need A11 custom rom
And It would receive A12 as well
So, we are saved for 2 years
Even if the development is slow
We can adjust as we have options ,unlike other meme devices

Installing GSI on Lenovo M8

Hello. I want install a GSI on my Lenovo M8 gen3 but i am unsure where to start. I have already unlocked the bootloader and rooted the device. It runs really slow with Lenovo Android 11 and I'm thinking maybe if I install a ROM, it might run better. I just need a starting point because I can't find much information anywhere about the process.

Question GSI for pixel 6 pro - plus question on flashing

Hello morning this is my first time ever flashing a pixel 6 pro and i don't want to make too many mistakes and completely brick the device. can anyone tell me the right steps to take before flashing a gsi and to get root access. also, I would like to know if the gsi Corvus os 4.1 (12L) can work or any other gsi that works best for the pixel 6 pro. thank you
i dont have much experience with gsis but the experience that i have had has been very bad, i would recommend flashing a rom like evo x, ricedroid or lineageos, just follow the install guides carefully and youll be ok
