Unbrick p20 pro clt-l09 - Huawei P20 Guides, News, & Discussion

hello friend good afternoon I have the following problem when trying to downgrade clt l09 version Charlotte-L09C 9.1.0.311 (C521E8R1P9T8) _Firmware_9.0.0_r3_EMUI9.1.0_05015CAT
I connected UPGRADE USB and PASSING THE APP FILE THROUGH EFT PRO gave me an error and the phone turned OFF and I only RECOGNIZED THE PC WITH THE NEXT PORT Android interlocking bootloader. I tried this method but when I don't have the bootloader unlocked I can't pass the partitions since this method says https: //forum.xda -developers.com/huawei-p20/how-to/how-to-how-to- unbrick-clt-l29c432-t3878714
can someone enlighten me in advance thank you

MI5S Plus rom on MI5S

Hello,
This morning I received my MI5S, it's a beautifull phone but I have big troubles with, the ROM on it is the 8.0.4.0 for the MI5S Plus, so the fingerprint sensor, the APN and perhaps others thinks aren't working.
I've tryed to unlock the bootloader but the unlock software don't allow me to press the button even if it's recognized with fastboot.
I've also tryed to download the rom and to apply the update via the Update Application but even that don't work I have an error.
When I plug the device (turned on) on the computer it is recognized as a Mi5S Plus.
I have done a authenticity check and this seem to be good.
Do you guy's have any idea how I can pass the Global 8.0.3.0 version on it ?
The biggest trouble is that I can't unlock the bootloader for the moment, when this will be done it should be fine.
Thanks in advance,
I'm just hopping that I don't will have to send it back, waited so long to get it :/
Use China mi pc suite and try to flash the official rom
I have a error message: You need to update your device to use Mi Suite.

Click to collapse
Go to the phone updater app and use download update
Thanks for the answer @XMoDuLeSx,
But I already did this and it didn't worked, I think that the update app will only accept the mi5s plus roms because it recognize the device like a Mi5s plus.
I think that the only way is to use a xiaomi deep usb cable to change it, but I don't have the necessary to build one myself for the moment :/
If someone have any idea how I could flash via fastboot another official ROM without unlocking the bootloader or any other idea it would be awesome
use miflash andd flash a fastboot rom.
@xangoch This didn't worked.
I finaly made a engineering cable and it did the trick
Thanks for the answers

Need help to unbrick an BND AL-10 changed to BND-L21 (FRP unlocked)

Hello,
I bought a 7x honor in Europe at a great price.
Indeed, it was actually a modified AL-10.
Having no OTA update, I tried to install Oreo for L21 manually.
And I have bricked my smartphone ...
It is recognized in fastboot as BND-L21 EMUI 5.1, PHONE Locked, FRP Unlock
I made mistakes with several huawei accounts and can not get an unlock key for bootloader anymore.
The dload method does not work because the smartphone is still recognized as being under android 7
Do I have to go through DC phoenix or is there another solution, since my FRP is unlocked?
Thank you in advance !

Do I bricked my Honor View 20?

Hello,
Today I wanted to root my HV20. So I wanted to downgrade it to EMUI9 to unlock it. But something must have gone wrong with the downgrade because I can't start it anymore. I always get to the eRecovery menu. But I can't download the latest version and recovery there, the error always comes up: getting package info failed
Then I went to the fastboot menu and wanted to restore it via HiSuite. This does not work because my mobile phone is not recognized by the computer.
There is now FRP Unlock under the Phone locked state in the fastboot menu. What does that mean I couldn't find anything about it online.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Kind regards

Note 8 Pro stuck on recovery menu with locked bootloader - Please Help!!

Hi,
I got a Chinese Redmi Note 8 Pro which I tried to convert to Global ROM but while flashing I accidently selected the "Flash & Lock" option. The phone is now stuck in recovery menu and shows "This MIUI cannot be installed on this device". The bootloader is also locked again and I am unable to reflash it using the official tool. I am able to get into Fastboot mode.
Please someone advice how can I recover the phone (even on stock Chinese ROM). The official service centres in my country are of no help as the device was not purchased locally. It seems you can get it done online by paying someone with an authorized MI account but I am a bit hesitant to go that way.
I have found lots of guides and youtube videos using SP Flash tool, MTK tools etc but it is not clear if those method will work in my case as my bootloader is locked. Also most of those methods seems to be for a hard bricked phone but I am atleast able to get into fast boot mode. Can someone please guide me exactly which method will work in my case? I dont mind if the phone recovers to the stock chinese rom.
Thanks

Question Dead boot

Hello there,
I've tried converting Chinese to Global firmware Vivo X80 pro (unlocked bootloader and rooted) and ends up with completely dead bricked after flashing all files on fastboot it's rebooted on a black screen and never went on again!
Can't boot into fastboot mode neither recovery but its can connect to pc via USB-C which is USB-3.1 only! My pc recognize it as "USB root hub" so what does that mean? Please if there is any solution to consider?
Best regards
why do you do something like this without reading beforehand?
You can't flash to the global version. If you're lucky, your Vivo is now a brick.
