Your storage is encrypted
I don't use this recovery but it should have an option to ask you for a password or a pattern and it will decrypt the storage

In official twrp encryption worked normally. Try to change theme on your recovery and you get bootloop. Recovery tested by you?

Yeah. I tested it. It working on stock miui and miuiMix. It doesn't work on gsi because the data partition cannot be decrypted.

You can flash ViperFX in Magisk Manager.
Sick Rekovery, like alot √
Maybe i did something wrong...
I've been using this for a while now abit over a month...
Everything works fine until i try to do anything "extra". Like the other day something went wrong with a theme i applied in substratum, so i tried just using the recovery tweak, and i got an error saying I'm missing a file in like sdcard/blah/blah/addons/s.zip
I looked in this thread and the website and i don't see anywhere to grab those files and put them where they need to go?
Or is it a mounting issue?
There should be a folder in your internal storage called SHRP open the zip and copy files/SHRP

how to install? I dont understand. I flashed the zip, rebooted recovery, nothing new from here, apart from a new SHRP folder, thats it.
@NachoGamer
The zip should put the files in internal, maybe it doesn't work with some encryption methods.
You can extract it like a regular zip and inside the Files folder will be a SHRP folder with folders for data and addons inside, that one needs to be in sdcard.
Mine still is the ugly blue TWRP. I get the folder in /sdcard but nothing else happens. Manually flashing the recovery.img results in infinite bootloop. Am I missing something?
EDIT: Got it working, now. Stupid mistake, but not entirely my fault: download shown as "latest" in sourceforge was NOT for S7. If anyone stumbles upon the same behavior, make sure to download the second (also 2.3.2 as of now BUT for "herolte").
New SHRP v3.0 for S7 Flat herolte is available:

Alright, After some testing I've found only one bug. When you install Magisk Canary the recovery tries to "Inject SHRP" but fails to do so. But it doesn't seem to cause any issues ?. So I think it's Bugfree? Anyway, Good work dev!

When flashing the Magisk zip did you manually select the inject SHRP option, or was it done automatically? Magisk only patches and doesnt overwrite the boot image so I dont see any need to inject SHRP.

an issue: un-root a phone seems to break the image, it does not boot both slots it always go back to the recovery. By apply again the root to the image works fine.

So I installed this and it works. You mention auto decrypt in features, but it doesn't really seem to work. If you choose disable force decrypt in recovery, it tries to mount data, but that wouldn't be possible, because it's encrypted (and thus, flashing the zip file fails). I assume you have to format data first, but that not a thing I would want to do right now.
