hi everyone, I made the update of my redmi note 8 pro, to android 10 last week.
The result is that now the battery has a duration of just 2 days, compared to 4 days before, besides having problems with the brightness.
I want to return ABSOLUTELY to android 9, then downgrade, tell me the procedure to do, step by step or where can I look? I am new to the Forum.
Please help me. Thank you
These are the data of my phone:

Until I know, the recommended way to downgrade is flashing a fastboot rom via flash tool, search in YouTube.
don't try flashing trough custom recovery is highly risky

hi, can you give me more directions please.
i downloaded the miflash pro software, but i don't know how to use it and i don't know where to find the android 9 global firmware. thank you

Ok, I am not a expert but this is the easy way
https://youtu.be/cn5F12ixLB8
All your data will be lost, you need download the correct rom for you device, I see you have the EEA variant, so search in Google for the fastboot rom PGGEUXM...

Is it possible (safe) to downgrade in this way - to put android 9 (it is downloaded through the phone and moved to pc.) in folder "downloaded_rom" and restart the phone?

I downgraded to miui 10 via MiFlash and fastboot rom.
I flashed 10.4.2 indonesia rom, which is the best Miui version, at least in my opinion.

@mejgs
You tell me how you did it step by step. Where can I find the right firmware to install, since I have the global version?
I also have miflash.
on this page , https://xiaomifirmware.com/roms/miui-roms-redmi-note-8-pro-begonia/
I take
ROM stable Europe (SEE) - Redmi Note 8 Pro
V11.0.3.0.PGGEUXM in Fastboot?
and how do I install it on my mobile phone?
Then, do I have to enable the bootloader on the mobile phone?
what are the precise steps to take?
thank you

Firstly, you have to unlock the bootloader, and wait 168 hrs for it to be done.
1) Download MiUnlock tool amd follow instructions
2) Download MiFlash tool amd follow instructions
3) Download desired firmware from Xiaomi Firmware Finder

If you're going to lose all your data when downgrading, you might as well try a factory reset in Android 10 first. If it still drains fast, then downgrade.

I downloaded the software from www.xiaomifirmwareupdate
fw_begonia_miui_BEGONIAEEAGlobal_V11.0.3.0.PGGEUXM_d7349241eb_9.0.zip,
but why the .zip software is only 44 MB, compared to the fw_begonia_miui_BEGONIAEEAGlobal_V11.0.3.0.PGGEUXM_d7349241eb_9.0.tgz, taken from the site

Reboot and hold volume up till you see the recovery menu. In recovery, select "wipe data/ factory reset" and reboot. Try it for a couple days to build some battery stats and see if it's better. Backup your data first of course

I think I don't solve anything with this procedure.
for me it is the same reset done by the internal settings from the mobile phone (already done 2 times).
what do you think about it?

Other people have had good battery with Android 10, but if you can't get yours fixed, go back. I read one guy said disabling and re-enabling MIUI optimization fixed his battery drain.

I have same problem As above. I am also trying in linux with xfstk but no luck, flashing is always a FAIL. Also if I had the RAW fw I could try to use Intel Phone Flash Tool Lite, but no RAW fw provided.
What is the GP Flag Override Value to ZE500CL (Z00D)?
Try uploading the ROM via TWRP , TWRP but did not work , so try via CWM and I bricked my phone . On power does not pass the Intel logo and when connected to PC recognizes it as a device: Coverview plus. If I try to enter the bootloader only displays a USB icon .
I tried to recover the intel software Xsftk XDA following tutorials without success. I think the problem is that these tutorials are for other models Asus Zenfone and none for ZE500CL ( Z00D ) . I managed to download the .bin files, but I think the problem when trying to update via Xsftk lies in the parameter : GP Flag Override Value , the value for other models are 0x80000245 , 305, 205 and 807 but not the value for ZE500CL appears .
If someone had this problem and has solved much you appreciate report by this route .
Thanks in advance to the whole community. !
--------

Odin version should be fine
Just need to know what android version you are on
If you can get into your phone check in setting - about phone -software information and post the baseband number.
Or in download ( odin ) mode there a line saying something like AP SWREV and post what is written.
Then will need to know what firmware you have downloaded and are trying to flash with odin

I had this problem myself a while ago. The bootloader is blocked and the rom does not flash to solve it, I had to send it to Motorola and pay for the motherboard replacement.

Hello,
I've actually downgraded my old Moto One Action from PE 12 to stock Android 11, successfully. I think the security patch might have been downgraded, as well. I don't remember. The only thing I had to watch out for was that OEM Unlocking option (needs to be ON). Otherwise, everything went ok. I'm now on Android 11, with bootloader locked, and everything working fine.
HOWEVER, I would not recommend doing this with the G60 now. I just don't feel comfortable enough recommending this to people. You can try, if you want. But it's not something I would vouch for, or something I tested and can confirm myself.
So, in THEORY, it should work. In practice...I don't know. But I wouldn't recommend trying it. Seems like the bootloader reacts in a different way for some reason. Could be a bug, could be something else. I don't know. But until that option is ON, I would not even consider attempting to lock the bootloader, after a downgrade.
And of course, don't do that on a custom ROM!
arsradu said:
Eu não me lembro.

Patrick972 said:
I had upgraded to 12 by the device update itself, but I didn't like it. I felt that the performance of the device was affected, it became slow and bad. I unlocked the bootloader, went back to 11, rooted it, solved the safety net issue, and implemented a magisk module for performance. So far nothing to complain about and I'm not necessarily interested in locking the bootloader, at least not right now because of the error that occurs when locking it. I would like to know if I can somehow remove the bootloader unlock message on Moto G60.

I would recommend posting in English, so we can understand each other.
If everyone would post in their native language, it would be very hard to understand each other. It would be chaos in here. That's why, we need to post in English in open forums.
As for your issue, I know there was a way to do what you want, on other devices. Basically, you need a custom logo.bin, that needs to be flashed on top of your current ROM. But I'm not sure how to do it myself, and I haven't found one for Motorola G60.

Usually this is done by altering logo.bin (sorry, I said logo.img by mistake in my posts above; should be logo.bin). But the idea is the same. So that's should be the focus of our search.

So I tried the tool. But I couldn't get it to do what we want. I think there's something else we need to change before getting rid of that completely. I replaced the images, and even removed them, too, but....I still got a "text only" version of that warning. ) Don't know where it's taking it from. But I think there might be more work to do to fix this.
You can try it, if you want. Just make sure you keep a copy of your original logo.bin so you can flash it back.
I think it has a failsafe, or a backup or something, to display when the original logo can't be used.

With me it was the same, after changing the images I returned the warning of unlocked bootloader but only with the text. Honestly the moto g60 is a great value for money, but the way its system behaves is very unexpected compared to others hahaha

Hello,
Both require unlocking the bootloader. Thing is, when you request an unlock code, your warranty is automatically void, regardless if you actually use that code or not. So...if you don't really, really need to downgrade, you should probably not downgrade.
It's not a matter of "is it possible". It's a matter "is it worth it".
Hi I am Aryan and i also tried many roms and many android version to change android version, upgrade or downgrade your device the most common method is by flashing a custom rom supported for your device there are many Custom roms developed by many developers (For ex : Lineage os,Pixel Experience,Nusantara,Crdroid, etc) by a Custom recovery (For ex : TWRP,OFRP,PBRP,etc) according to your need

#METHOD 1 : Flashing Through RSA tool by Motorola (Sometimes RSA do not detect the firmware automatically e.g. when you come from any custom rom or gsi or port hence in that case go with method two)
Step 1 Download and install RSA or LMSA tool in PC
Step 2 Put device into bootloader mode and connect to PC, RSA tool will automatically detect device and suggest you to download correct firmware for your device.
Step 3 After downloading firmware, click on START rescue
Step 4 Enjoy stock rom
#METHOD 2 : Direct Flashing
Step 1 : Download the firmware for your device Here
(Many variants are available there such as retin and retail choose according your machine )
Step 2 : Put device into bootloader mode and connect to PC
Step 3 : Download and put Flash Script .Bat into the folder of your firmware ( Download here )
Step 4 : Let it complete the flashing process and at end you press any key to reboot your phone

Just one thing I wanted to add.
If you're trying to go back to stock ROM after flashing a custom ROM...which is probably the case for most of the users reading this, LMSA might not automatically detect the device. So...you'll have to attempt to do it by entering the IMEI. So my advice would be having the IMEI close by in case you need it.
im getting android corrupt try again ,factory reset option. i already reset it but it goes back to try again. used LMSA with imei
EDIT: Fixed tried fastboot -w then fastboot earse userdata , rebooted works fine
I have not unlocked my bootloader. My phone is in stock rom Android 12. Can I use this method to downgrade to Android 11?

Hello friend. So, I have this custom ROM and I'm going back to STOCK ROM and I want to re-lock bootloader. Can't anymore? Are there risks? I saw in other topics blocking again with fastboot oem lock.
Yes, you can.
Yes, there are risks.
I've already done it twice on this model and countless times on other models. Yes, you CAN brick your phone. Doesn't mean that you have to! Just do it right from the beginning and you should be fine.

you're welcome. I was afraid to try this after reading so many horror stories about locking the bootloader on this phone. But then I decided to give it a try anyway. And it was ok.
Just have to do it carefully. Use LMSA to Rescue (reflash stock ROM) the device. Make sure you can boot BEFORE locking the bootloader. And, optionally, you can also do an extra wipe data from Recovery (this way, you can also make sure you're using the STOCK recovery). After that, you can go ahead and lock the bootloader using command:
fastboot oem lock
That's it. Good luck!

Boa sorte!

haha! Exactly that was my fear too. That's why you must have seen several questions in different threads . The fear was present, but reading other responses and especially yours, encouraged more to do the procedure. Now everything is working perfectly. Custom ROMs are great, but I use NFC a lot for payments and Netflix for example, which don't work on bootloaders unlocked (Here's a tip for anyone installing Custom ROMS). Thanks again!

The NFC payments is one of the reasons I switched back to stock. For NFC payments, the problem might actually be on the ROM itself... I'm still trying to figure this out myself. But yes, Netflix wants a locked bootloader... I'm not sure there's a workaround for that. But NFC payments do generally work with custom ROMs. They just don't work with the current ROMs we have for G60.
Maybe...maybe one they, this will also be fixed.

What good news! I believe that when the NFC payment works, I will go back to the Custom ROM. That would already be a good reason to go back to Custom. Netflix can wait , I don't really care.

Same here. That's why I'm hoping it can be fixed... But in the meantime, I switched back to stock ROM and locked the bootloader.

If you have the Chinese version use this program.
It downgrades it for you without having to be unlocked or rooted. You'll just have to translate the text to see what you're clicking on because it's in Chinese.
