Must have apps / setup / debloat / nova launcher / video presentation etc - Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Themes, Apps, and Mods

I found very cheap this phone 400β‚‘ from previous buyer almost new (1-2 days use). For those money is fantastic.
Those all works in all s20 line of Samsung (galaxy s20, s20plus, s20ultra, note 10, note 10+ and other Samsung phones
Subscribe for support in my channel if you like.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGiItteDcfw
Sorry for the quality of the video (I used a note 8 for video recording. Perhaps it was to close..)
This is galaxy s10 lite 8 giga ram.
Phone is lite only in name. It is actually faster than s20 galaxy line with exynos, and have much better battery due to snapdragon versus exynos and probably due to lower resolutio . You can search other video in YouTube if you don't believe it..
I know it is very strange for such a cheaper phone.
**Fingerprint sensor accuracy :
I use a screen tempered glass screen protector very bad quality .It is not for this phone, it is for galaxy A70. Although the bad quality of the tempered glass (its probably plastic ) which made very difficult to add fingerprint, as you see in video is very fast and accurate.
I added 3 times the same finger. It helps alot. Also in settings check the option in settings: Display: Increase screen sensitivity.
**Setup / transition effects / Display size :
I use nova launcher, Google companion, crios x icon pack (iPhone like).
I have enabled developers option and change transition effects to 0.5
Samsung give 3 options 0 , 0.5 , 1 (1 is default but I suggest 0.5 which is the standard for almost every other phone, except Samsung.
I prefer even lower transition effects, but not 0. In this video I have set 0.2 transition effect although you see 0.5
Anyone who want to do this (it works in all Samsung phones), must use connection with pc, adb (Google it) and use this commands from the pc:
adb shell
settings put global window_animation_scale 0.2
settings put global transition_animation_scale 0.2
settings put global animator_duration_scale 0.2
I also have change in developer option as you see in video: Size from 411 (default for this phone) to 492 (everything goes smaller in screen including the ui, not only fonts).
**Debloating:
-Also I have debloated the phone by using package disabler from playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kinder.pksafety
and freeze all those apps & services which I don't use:
This is my list, you can download and load to package disabler from : import from xml choice .
Warnings : You must already have installed another launcher (for example nova) before trying.
This list can be used only as a base, because everyone is using different things, so must freeze different services. Anyway this list has been tried to many Samsung phones without problem, but you do it (if) in your own risk. After you load it, you can add, or delete services:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jq9lrioawu3yx0v/178 from disabledpackages.xml?dl=0
. ** Other:
- I use Granular Immersive Mode (playstore app, needs adb also) to change how every app (you can select to use it only to apps you want) is displayed.
In Facebook you see in the video, you see the hole of the camera inside Facebook display . As in youtube. Most apps just display black bar when is camera , so you loose screen . You don't have really full screen. Anyway , this app can do this but for very few apps, like Facebook for example.
But have other options useful . Eg hide statusbar , softkey per app etc.
- In android 10 Samsung has made battery statistics (eg screen on time) very confusing . It meters per day and not when you unplug phone from charger.
If you want the old measurement (screen on time from when unplugged ) use from playstore
Gsam battery monitor pro. (If you want more statistics , per app battery consumption etc, this app also needs adb).
- Also in video you see the app sideactions from playstore (adb needed also..). It is bxactions for phones without Bixby button. With this I use double press power button as back key.
Also in screen on, lockscreen I use volume up/down to change songs.
You can set many other, flashlight etc.
- You don't see in the video but another must have application (playstore) is aodNotify.
Phone doesn't have a notification led, so this app uses a ring in camera to light when you have a notification . You can setup in which apps you want to work. I have setup it only for Facebook messenger phone calls and SMS.
It consume very little power as it can work without AOD.
- My record screen on time until now. Very impressive :
1 hour 40 minutes screen on time , and 90% battery..
I had almost 11 hours screen on time per day.. (Thanks norovirus for this, and all day staying home).
Lite usage: Facebook , youtube, internet browsing, in wifi.

Galaxy s10 lite vs s20
https://youtu.be/tcWkqollBXc
In the video you see s10 lite is faster than s20.
The same for s20, s20 plus, s20 ultra, as they have the same hardware.
Only in camera s20 line are better.
Also battery much better in s10 lite..
Which is the real lite here?
But if you compare s10 lite vs s20 snapdragon 865 version, then the s20 is faster.
Exynos is not good at all..

Thanks a lot for your post. Just got mine today and installed a few apps you listed here along with gcam. Great phone for the price.

Gland to find it useful. I add more in my video there as comments. Some time i will post here to.

I would like to add the Good Lock app to the list, it's a must have app, with it you can customize a lot of things on one ui like the task changer, navbar, quickpanel, one hand mode...
Edit: it's a no-root app, developed by samsung itself

Agree.. I already using it. I must add it to the list.

be careful with the package disabler app, there have been many complaints of malicious intent on the part of the developer

I don't believe it.. This is not the reason for leaving from playstore.

Package disabler stopped working for me after the update to android 11. I used another free app for this, it is very good :
Alliance Shield [Device Owner] - Apps on Google Play
Device Manager & Security Settings for Businesses
play.google.com
You can copy past your list of the disabled apps in xml file tha package disabler load, then edit xml file of shieldx app and past the same list here. Just keep some lines at star, you will understand if you edit.
Then load this list to shieldx, working.. Also has a adblock etc.
You just have to register for free to use this app.

Well, the above app for disabling doesn't work anymore. There isn't any free app. Only paid, and most of them doesn't work very well.
I now disabling by using pc and this free app:
[TOOL] ADB AppControl 1.8.0 πŸš€ Ultimate App Manager & Debloat Tool + Tweaks
ADB AppControl πŸš€ Root is not required. Works with any Android device. Can do almost everything you dreamed about with applications. ADB AppControl - the desktop program, that will allow you to easily manage applications on your android device...
forum.xda-developers.com
You can load xml files to disable, you can save your current disabled list etc.
You must modify abit my list to load it with this app. First disable 2 apps, save this small disabled list, open it with notepad to see that it is just a simple list with the names of the disabled apps. You can then copy from my list the names of disabled app, and past the names to the list of this program. If you load this final list, in this pc app, you will see that all apps of the list have been checked. You can then press the button to disable them. The same for enable them.
It's very easy, powerful and free.
Otherwise you must download one of the paid apps from playstore for disabling. But every a few months they stop working and developers ask for paying again.
***I have to note this: After disabling the apps of my list, in every android update, i loose internet data connection. If you enable the list of apps again, problem solved. After disabling again all the apps of the list, there is no problem. Internet data is working. I don't know why this is happening but started after Android 11, even in monthly security updates. It happens with all disabling apps, in many phones. (Many had emailed me for this, so it's not only my phone, my list, or my disabling apps).
Anyway its one minute solution. I just informe you so to know why this is happening and the solution.

This is my current list in android 11. You can add more but i use this for now. Just copy past it in a notepad and load it with app control.
I dont know how much battery i gain. Not very much i believe (because samsung system for battery saving already works fine, its not like some years a go) ,but there is a better smoothness and better stability of battery consumption. Every day battery last same time, most of the days.

Instant messaging apps do not work on the 5.1

Hi everyone, the issue I am facing is that instant messaging apps (Viber, Facebook messenger, etc) do not work on my 5.1. Notifications settings are OK, unrestricted data access is allowed for these apps, so this is not a notification issue. The apps do not receive messages unless I launch them (when I launch the apps, there are no new messages, they start arriving a couple of seconds after launching). I contacted Nokia, but they did not have a clue... I did everything they asked for (factory reset, etc.), nothing helped.
Does anyone else have similar issues? Does anyone have any idea what the solution might be?
So it's been reported before that Nokia/HMD is the worst for how aggressively they limit background app usage. This can't be fixed in the current stock ROM but Nokia might help us out with Pie (if it ever materialises).

Thanks. It seems that the 5.1 was my last Nokia.
The Android One project is a bit of a farce given the update cycle is so delayed. It's good to have the security of assured updates, but only providing them when the hardware is no longer relevant seems a waste. Also it's possibly the Mediatek chipset to blame, but this phone has not had a great deal of interest on XDA, which could also be in part due to the Android One project making custom ROMs a little less relevent.
You can fix it yourself by uninstalling com.evenwell.emm app from user space. That crappy service which HMD bundles into firmware "improves" battery life by killing all non-system background apps.

Yes, you can delete overlay as well.
Yuo may need to uninstall these packages as well
com.evenwell.PowerMonitor
com.evenwell.PowerMonitor.overlay.base
I noticed that my 1Password service was still being killed after uninstalling com.evenwell.powersaving.g3.* packages. After removing PowerMonitor stuff everything back to normal and Nokia 5.1 Pie became usable again
I have the 2gb variant and its no use. Its a crappy phone... No notification what so ever even after disable/uninstall the evenwell apps and battery saver etc apps. Its no use as doon you start browsing only Google apps remains active. All other are killed. Not a android one phone. Its a stupid phone!!!
I believe I have found the definitive answer for this, after much googling around.
I have a 5.1 Plus (TA-1108) and tried the ADB disabling of evenwell apps and others but it still would stop services after restarts. I eventually found a post on the "Don't kill my phone" Github which alluded to the hidden setting of the "Duraspeed" task killer that is bundled.
The dontkillmyphone website says you can ADB in and change this hidden setting to 0, but this doesn't persist after a restart. The value will still be a 0, but it seems this task killer only reads the value after it detects a change in the value (bizarre, I know). So to disable this Duraspeed thing, you need to change the hidden setting value from something else to a 0 on each boot.
Luckliy, this is very easily done by Tasker/Macrodroid/etc. Use this post:
https://github.com/urbandroid-team/dont-kill-my-app/issues/57#issuecomment-484000884
but the short of it is to enable WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS to tasker (by running this:
adb shell pm grant net.dinglisch.android.taskerm android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
for tasker, google for your app of choice)
and then set a task that runs on boot to change a "Custom Setting", Global type, setting name setting.duraspeed.enabled to a value (doesn't matter, I use 2) and then immediately after change the same setting to 0.
I have this set up on my phone and my wifes phone and ever since they have been perfect with background services (my Garmin watch, lastpass, etc) as well as any email/notification apps.

How to start adb usb debugging on this phone?
I have adb sdk installed, every other phone but Nokia 5.1 is visible when I type adb devices.
Should I use adb on Linux or Windows, install any special drivers from Nokia?

I second this.
no special rom, just used adb/fastboot tools to uninstall - can't put links here for some reason, but just google it - its on github. Super simple, graphical interface. If you uninstall, it saves the .apk's so you can reinstall if necessary
The tool is called Saki tools
The tool that I always use is called saki tools, available on github. I'm sure he uses this also. It's great.
Just enable usb debugging on phone, open the application on pc and allow usb debugging, delete whatever you want.
Hopefully this clears up some confusion.

Not called Saki tools, its made by a developer names SZaki - its called Xiaomi ADB Fastboot Tools. but yes, thats the link. (why can i not post links?)

For which version of miui?
Could you make as it.bat files for one click usage, yeah Miui also tend to change Apk names randomly each version update so you need to make different [.bat] for each miui versions. I did has my own personal list. Personally tested but outdated for already sold whyred.
You could make one click with options wizard
[remove extra Google app]
[total remove Google (Unsafe, for some one who want reinstall to microg/bitsGapps/picoGAPPs, make sure you already logout Google and has other keyboard installed) ]
[remove extra miui]
[total remove miui apps(make sure you got another launcher and logout miui account)]
[remove all non miui/Google bloats (Ie. Fb, preinstalled game)]
have you downloaded the program from github? Its a fully gui - click and delete. its for all current versions of miui as far as the developer has said. personally i'm on 10.4.4.0. The list that it gives you to delete are considered "safe to delete apps" - worst case i guess you soft brick.and need to do a factory reset. The app also leaves all the .apks for you to reinstall should something misbehave.

Yes, I already know for months already about it but her list is too simple and disabling function is buggy, disabled app still asking for update. Once we update it by mistake, or just changing region, they"ll back.

I'm not sure what you are talking about - i have uninstalled everything on the list here - get no errors/bugs/requests for updates. They are gone and the phone is faster/safer and the battery lasts longer.

I just debloated successfully and it's all working fine. But i'm still left with the same amount of free space as i had before i uninstalled any of the apps i did.... Makes me wonder if Szaki tools really uninstalls the apps or somehow disables them without removing it from the device... Kinda suspicious to be honest...
PS: Also, i want to uninstall this really unnecessary download handler that comes with this phone but i don't see an option to do so?

This Is why I said the list is not suitable for me. It's good for newbie but people with more experience need POWERUSER MODE to remove more bloats, like fully uninstall ALL MIUI related to make it as close as stock for example. Yes, I can use adb manually or use debloat module in magisk, but tools to make it easier will be very welcomed

I agree. Someone already mentioned that at git too but Szaki's reply was to use "Add Apps" from the "App Manager" menu and update the list with what you want to remove. Apparently all the tabs use the same list...

it leaves the apks on your phone so you can reinstall if necessary, so they are still going to take up some space.
There is ALSO a disable tab you can use, which does exactly that.
Are you 100% sure you didn't gain a small amount of space? I gained a bit after deleting the ones on my list.

he has stated multiple times that the list to intentionally small to avoid the huge amount of dependencies that miui bakes into their apps and OS. each phone has different dependencies, and sometimes what works on one phone, soft bricks another. SO... there is an option to add apps (at your discretion) but even the safe list is not promised to not soft brick a phone (some phones the list is fully safe, others, maybe it trips a dependency and breaks something
If you want, start adding apps from outside the list and respond with your findings That would be the POWERUSER thing to do, would it not?.

Thanks, please have a look at this excellent post about debloating.
Though this is for redmi note 2, the list of apps you can safely remove is still quite actual.
Even though my phone is rooted, I couldn't remove system apk's and folders.
I've done so manually through twrp after first safely freezing apps by titanium to observe.
Root folder space is now at 70 %, which used to be over 90 if I remember well. :fingers-crossed:

Question Any debloat full list?

Hi, I started using adb app control and I disabled 38 processes.
I m pretty happy with this useful app but I feel I can go much deeper...
I would love to remove much more stuff (if possible).
I used a list in the a20thread, but many processes /apps are different or missing from a52s.
So anyone could please me share here or privately the full list of safe disabling?
I need to keep Facebook Bixby routine and vocal assistant.
For the rest I can quit almost everything useless.
It would be great to find also the top 10-20 app/processes that drains battery between them.
Thank you for the help! ❀
There is an apk it can shows every system apks what is triggering , boot , wireless , any actions they do . Not every apk drain battery so much . In general Google services are hungry for energy and you can not dispense of them . I disable for example Google search , Google Assistant , Google Pay , Duo , Hangouts and Calendar . Maps I need always . Also some launchers drain battery . Regarding Facebook Bixby routine and vocal assistant they are battery eating , very much . Most of them have some tracking activity which are awake or they trigger awakening most of time . So don't stop small and insignifiant apks , focus only on the those few which affect your battery life . Disabling them I extend battery at least 25....30% daily . Better results can be done with a routed device , but root for phone today became a lttle bit tricky .
Also battery can be increased choosing some correct settings of system behaviour . A11 and A12 have a lot of settings for wireless , security , data , accesibility and so on which if they are active can drain also battery . Not less important is screen refresh rate or SOT , it is known more activity on phone when display is lit can drain at least 80% of battery . That can be tested only by battery drain over night when battery percentage drops down 1...2% or less . 2% is quite much...
Oops , I forgot , many users keep for nothing , all the time , Data , Wireless , Bluetooth , Hotspot and Location active . That's a big mistake that loose battery backup . Keep them only you need

Hi, thank you for your help.
Which is this apk that shows drains?
I almost follow all your suggestions.
I didn't get how can I understand if SOT is good or not, which app can let me understand that and, if I found problems, how can I improve it?
Then, I agree to disable the bigger drain processes, but some for me are important for working, such Facebook.
For this reason, seeing a lot of fb processes, I would like to know if I can disable some of them without having issues.
Then, Bixby routines it drains, fine, but it saves you a lot of battery and time (auto enable /disable GPS/ night sounds for example).
About Google and Samsung, i don't care about them, apart maps, calendar and drive.
Considering all these details, which processes do you suggest me to disable (mostly about Samsung) ?
I don't know if you are using a debloating tool, and if you can tell me the exact process name.
Thanks
P. S.
I Just read on Quora a guy that said that Google assistant doesn't consume much, it consume more Bluetooth. Could be true?
Is hard to find a clear answer on the net.
" My Android Tools Pro " , it's a very interesting apk . I used it since Androia 5...6 . Compare behaviour between ordinary apk and every Google services .
You don't need to trust me , trust only yourself doing some tests with your phone . Observe draining over night .
In the apk provided you have " Service ' , Broadcast receiver " , ' Activity ' and " Content provider "
On the other hand , Samsung is well known has double apps with same purpose like Google . I don't understand why is this . More than that Samsung has also a relaxed anti-hibernate background activity apks versus chinese brands like Huawei , Oppo , Xiaomi , OnePus etc which stop some times aggressively non-important apks
I just saw that is for rooted phones but I don't have it..
For this reason I wait for someone that can help me with a full /partial list of all debloatable processes.
Thanks

It is for rooted phone only to choose any actions . But if you install it you'll see the root and subroutines of any apk and/or services you have on phone . That I consider important ! I don't used it as well cause non-rooted phone .

Another guy told me about this program, but I already had app control and a list of all safe processes, the only con is that there's also other missing processes because it's made for another phone.
So, I made my own list based on it, I would love to add something more (if possibile and I m not missing anything).
Can you suggest me what I can remove more on my a52s?
I only listed the final words of the process to simplify with different countries app names
Thanks!

@sando99 thanks, is it for a52s?
adb app control can save the list of debloated processes, so I can restore it with one click instead than one by one with new phone?
I ll change it soon for a speaker problem, it rasps.
I fixed it three times with a sound, but it keep happen the problem.
Probably is a hardware problem, but could I accidentally disabled a sound process that can distort audio? I think I disabled only the safe ones, anyway my list is in this post, if there's something wrong and someone can check /find it, would be awesome!
It happens both with speaker and normal call speaker.

Wow, 141 apps!! Are all these safe to remove?
And, most important, is true that majority of these app/processes doesn't drain battery because the true consuming processes are few/less?

Yes they are all safe to remove but you can loose some function you are using which i dont use like Bixby, Google assistant Samsung Pay etc. i disbled all google apps exept Maps, Play store, play services and translate. Δ° disabled most samsung apps that i dont use including Samsung store. i dont know if most of these processes consume any battery, i disable evrything that is safe to disable and i dont need.
You can use the Universal Android Debloader. by default it shows onlt app that are safe to remove and if you click on the app it explains what it is.

Fine, I still have some questions.
I use maps but I disabled it (from phone setting), because its not really a notification map (I use it only while driving or checking the path), so why you didn't the same?
Because I use Bixby routines/cloud/Samsung store, should I avoid removing any process in your list?
Why did you stopped Samsung store? There are important updates sometimes..
Lastly, do you know how to backup my debloated list and how to restore it with uad?
Thx
This is the debloat list I use. It is focused mainly on Samsung apps that I don't use. I did not debloat Google apps such as Meet, Chrome, Google Messages etc since we can just disable those apps. The main culprit is Samsung which doesn't let you disable most of their own apps. I understand a lot of people probably use their Quick Share, Private Share, Samsung Pass, Samsung Cloud, Samsung Message etc. However, I still wish Samsung had given us an option to atleast disable them incase someone doesn't want to use those apps.

Yes it's true that many system apps don't run in the background and don't get activated until they are called/triggered. However, there's no way for us to know which system app is linked to other apps and how often they are triggered. So, you can disable them incase you don't use them. However, please note that sometimes it can backfire you. If you disable a system app which is important for the OS, your device will constantly search for that app as soon as you open any app which is partially/fully dependent on that system app. So, always check the function of a system app before you disble or debloat it.

Yes man, I totally agree about removing all useless things and I never disable other than safe processes. Your last debloat list how many processes have inside ? I ll open next week when I ll check another list I already have (the one with 141 processes of the last week we talked about).
BTW i also disable all Samsung you mentioned, apart cloud that I feel is essential for any body because it also back up Bixby routines, good guardians and all settings (don't like to waste two hours in setting everything).
At the end the croaking speaker problem it was not connected to debloating/virus but an hardware issue that also other people accused in the Samsung forum.
On Tuesday I ll ship to fix it, not so funny to do it just after 2 months of use, but will be all for free at least.
The main, most important question now is: how to backup up on my windows all my list of disabled app with adb app control??
I really need to know it soon because I have to backup everything in 48h from now.
Thanks!

Due to some bad optimizations by Samsung , we are facing a lot of battery issues and a couple of random lags. With this script, I have got something between 7h and 9h of SOT.
In a few tests in Brasil, the users are getting a much better battery life. This script have some things like:
=> Removing items that can sometimes be undesirable according to the user, so you can select wich services will be disabled, such as bixby, AR camera features, microsoft apps, google apps (not the main like gmail and photos, but the secondary ones like bookmar provider, docs), ANT (there are people who don't even know what it is so this is usually useless here in Brazil).
=> Disable the Camera Light Sensor which is a bug on One UI 4.0 and 4.1, galaxy S have a light sensor to calculate the automatic brightness, however, since One UI 4.0 it ends up using the front camera for this, annihilating the screen time of the device. When camera light sensor are disbled, the device will properly use the dedicated light sensor and the automatic brightness be more responsive and battery friendly.
=> Enable the option to disable Ram Plus, where the 0GB option will appear in the options above 2GB, which you can disable if you want (Recomended only on ONE UI 4, because One UI5 comes with disable RAM Plus option available) .
Throughout the script, it will ask which item you want to be removed, so if you use DEX, just answer "n" when it asks if you want to remove it.
Resetting the device to factory defaults will completely reverse everything the script does, so it is not permanent and does not void your device's warranty.
The procedure is simple:
In your cellphone:
1 - Enable Developer options and USB Debug:
Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information click on "build number" several times until it appears that developer mode is enabled.
2 - Now go to Settings > Developer Options and click enable right at the top of the page and look for the USB Debugging option and enable it too.
3 - Connect your phone to the computer and if a window appears asking for permission, grant it (you will be granting permission for your computer to access your phone in developer mode. If it doesn't appear now, no problem, this window may appear later when we run the script, but it usually appears right here.
On your PC:
4 - Download the script:
ONE UI 4 and 5: Debloat and optimize Galaxy S20 S21 AND S22 for ONE UI 4-5
5 - Extract it and run the "debloat and optimize" file (perhaps at that time the aforementioned window will appear on the cell phone asking for permission).
The script will guide you asking for all possible options which are 10:
Remove Microsoft apps?(You can reinstall the app later from the playstore)[Y/N]?
Remove Netflix?(You can reinstall the app later from playstore)[Y/N]?
Remove Facebook?(You can reinstall the app later from playstore)[Y/N]?
Remove Google Apps?(You can reinstall the app later from playstore)[Y/N]?
Remove DEX?(You will no longer have the DEX function)[Y/N]?
Remove ANT?(If you don't know what it is, you can remove it without fear)[Y/N]?
Remove Bixby?(You will still have the bixby routines, but no longer the voice assistant)[Y/N]?
Remove Augmented Reality Functions from Camera?(You will no longer have AR Sticker in Camera)[Y/N]?
Apply adaptive brightness correction? (by disabling the camera light sensor, improving auto brightness response and increasing battery life)[Y/N]?
Enable Ram Plus extra options? (enable options to increase or disable Ram Plus in Settings, Device and Battery Support, Memory) [Y/N]?
6 - When it finishes, the phone will restart. All options can somehow be reversed by downloading the apps from the Play Store again, except for DEX, Bixby and Sticker AR mode, but which can be reversed with another script that I'm still building or resetting your device to factory defaults.
Any doubt I will be available
My personal options are: ONE UI 4 - Y for all except dex (because I use dex, if you won't use, you can safe remove)
ONE UI 5: Y for all except Dex
After the script you can safe reinstall some apps back like Facebook and Google from Playstore, but now this will comes without Samsung bloatware.
Edit1: the link are updated to a new version fixing one hand mode
Edit2: release of a version to apply on ONE UI5.
Edit3: Unifying One UI 4 and 5 scripts, added new options for Game Launcher, ledcover and Wellbeing, doesn't disable Android Auto anymore, and added fix for media provider Bug in all S21 series.
and finaly the link to rollback the script: Rebloat ONE UI 4.1+ (works on ONE UI 5 too)

Resetting the device to factory defaults will completely reverse everything the script does, so it is not permanent and does not void your device's warranty. If you want, there are a Revert back script too.
ONE UI 4.1+: Debloat and optimize Galaxy S20 S21 AND S22 except S22U v2
ONE UI 5: Debloat and optimize Galaxy S20 S21 AND S22 for ONE UI 5
Edit2: release of a version to apply on ONE UI5.
and finaly the link to rollback the script: Rebloat ONE UI 4.1+ and 5 (works on ONE UI 5 too)

I can't see any difference with battery life on my s21 fe after debloating by your guide. At least it didn't go wrong either.
Hi. I can't run the script for s21 with OneUI 5. the grant permission window doesn't appear. No window after connection and after runnig script too. But another version of ADB (from minimal ADB tool) on my PC is working and permission window is appearing when it is need. It seems your ADB version have some modifications. How can i run this script with another working ADB on my PC. I've tried and cleared "Revoke USB debugging authorisations" too. But no changes. Thanks for any help.
UPD: it is working on another PC. Thanks!!

I'm on Android 13. You mean to run the same script and press "N" in all cases ? Or there is a refreshed link in the first post ?
Hi! The native messaging app is no longer notifying me when I receive an SMS. I'm on Android 12. Any suggestions? Thank you very much! =D

I did updated the file for One UI 5. You can download it again and run. I have suggested "n" for all because this skip direct for optimization lines (only for not override your previous selected options). On this version, you will get at the end one message like: "S21 variant detected". If this message appears, the proper code for fix media provider are executed well.

Open message app. Go to settings -> notifications. Check if "allow notifications" are toggled. if yes and still no receiving notifications, on this same path, go to "notifications categories" and check if all your categories have notifications allowed.

I did everything correctly, but there is no message like you say should be. I did it twice just to be sure. Look at the screenshot below. Everything seems fine to me.

Yep. Thanks for your feedback. With your screenshot I found the bug. I will fix in a couple of hours, but if you want to try you can fix it in one of two ways:
1- the easyest way: right click on .bat file, search G991 and change to G990, save and run again.
OR
if you know about adb, you will run "adb shell dumpsys deviceidle whitelist +com.google.android.providers.media.module" (without quotes)

Thanks man! The problem was here. Sorry my "noob" ;-)
Worked on S21 FE
Thanks
It looks like battery really lasts longer. However. I noticed that I am missing digital wellbeing and game launcher.
I assume that script deleted them? Does reverse script returns them? And if it does should I?

Hongtop S30Max

Hongtop S30Max;
Inexpensive Android 10 FullHD (1080p) HD (720p) projector.
+ Cheap
+ Small/portable (S30MAX 15 x 13.5 W9.2 cm (HxDxW), ~1kg)
+ Easy usage
I received one Hongtop S30Max from store below (HONGTOP Official Store) and concluded following:
- Only 2,4GHz Wi-Fi (No 5GHz!)
- Only 720p native/optical video out (1080p isn't true!!!)

Some bundled apps cant be uninstalled/removed "normally" so the option is to remove or completely disable these via ADB.
There are couple of options to use WiFi ADB, Googlr for "wifi adb no root apk".
I used the one 'by Henry' without any issues, just read the How To carefully!
Removed and disabled few apps like included file manager and installed one with network support.
To disable:
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 <package_to_disable>
NOTE! Disable first and if everything works fine You can remove if You want!
To remove/delete:
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 <package_to_remove>

I'm unable to access main menu because it's blocked by a notice box which asks me to pair the Bluetooth remote. How to do this pairing and get rid of the notice box? I've tried the method of pressing two buttons together but it doesn't seem to work?

IIRC should You pull power, keep remote close to projector, start projector and during startup keep both left and right arrows pressed on remote.
That should do the trick.
Thanks a lot. It DID work!

It can be done from the same device, using those same commands but without having to connect remotely. The same device has the option within the configuration, it seems to me that the development section.

Ohhh, TY!
Didn't even look after options... I've been using the ADB option as "standard clean-up tool" for all bloatware.
