I just updated my LG optimus 7 to 7.8 a few sec ago. here are the pictures to prove it and ofcourse the link on how to do it. So, after all, seems like all WP7 devices are getting this update!

That's great news! No luck on my Optus Optimus 7 here in Aus but it would appear that even for phones confirmed to get the update that it isn't available on all the servers yet.
I'll keep trying.

I'm getting the updates too now. Currently installing the 2nd update. So for anyone in Australia with an unbranded E900, I can confirm that 7.8 is available. Several others here have successfully updated to 7.8 as well.

the 7.8 update cab is missing some important features like Bing lock screen and others. So better force the official update dude!

I got the official update though zune yday and it came with all the functionalities.
actually it's just the same as the one you get "forcing" the update

Can't get my phone to update LG Optimus E900
Hi, I am based in the UK with a European model and can't upgrade to 7.8 (LG Optimus E900)
I've tried the force update method, no joy and the manual cab method but it just says can't find applicable package....
Any ideas please?

you have to put the cabs in the same folder as the bat file of the cab sender - and dont execute the bat with admin-rights or the installation will fail
Hi, thanks however I have tried the force update method several times as well as ensuring all the cabs are in as per the manual update instructions including ensuring the right language packs are there but still get exactly the same error as before.. no applicable packages... guess I'll have to give up for the time being and try again in a couple of weeks or so...
What has 80072FA8 error or just no update found!
On this time I tried a long time update with disconnect trick. But... no updates.
NOW... from FIRST time update was found!
Solution:
yeah... first of all good things happen to UK. So we will use UK proxy.
Go to Settings - mobile network , then edit apn. In "APN, Username, Password" I typed my provider settings. In "Proxy server/URL" type 109.169.40.229 and in "Proxy port" type 8080. Here Done.
Next step: in computer STILL connected internet, in phone wifi is disconnected.
And last step: in Zune click update. Waiting about ~2 minutes, because proxy is very slow.

i keep getting an error saying it cant search for an update, i tried two different computers, no luck, i tried the force update by switching off wifi, still no luck. Can someone help? thanks
Hi, some months ago I bought a S4 mini. I'm Italian so when I bought the phone it had a Jelly Bean firmware.
Samsung has not released a KitKat firmware for the Italian phones yet, so I used Odin to flash a KitKat stock firmware, I used the Spanish firmware (I9195XXUCNE6).
It works really good but I have a big problem with push notifications: they don't arrive in time or they don't arrive at all!
So I've installed PNF but it doesn't fix the problem.
When push notifications don't work and I open Play Services Monitor in PNF, I read NOT CONNECTED!
So I've taken a screenshot of the Events Log and the result is the first image in the attachments.
Do other people with KitKat have this problem? What can I do to fix that kind of error (FailedHeartbeat)? Could it depend from my Internet network?
Moreover, some days ago I took another screenshot and the error is in the second image in the attachments.

Has anyone tried to modify the update files to create custom or even improve the UI of the Hyundai software?
Just curious because I have a Canadian 2017 IONIQ BEV and downloaded the update from update.hyundai.com and noticed the files look very similar to a ROM update for an Android phone.
Wanted to bump this post back up since I got a hold of the update files that work for my car.

You could tinker around in Engineer mode (google it) and find something like that, but be careful as it can brick your car and even breakyour warranty in some countries
Hi I got a hudl 2 which still sadly runs kitkat and was never updated to lollipop, it also is full of bloatware, I have heard/read that marshmallow is the best android operating software for a hudl2, but the links for the room are no longer available. Does anybody know where I can get them or other customer ROMs?Has anybody upgraded their huddle2, what did you use?
Any tips, links, or info appreciated.
